Took my brand new $60k car for a 1,000 mile oil change as recommended when buying a new vehicle. They did the oil change and I picked the car up and drove it home. On the short trip home, I started smelling a burning oil smell which was weird since it's a brand new car. As I backed into my garage, smoke began pouring through the vents. I shut it off and popped the hood. To my surprise, the oil cap was not there. I called and explained and could sense the embarrassment as the mechanic forgot to replace the oil cap on a brand new $60k vehicle. I found the oil cap which had dropped down near the front of my brand new car and fished it out and put the cap on. I immediately began wiping as much oil off as I could but it was everywhere. The manager came and took the car back and tried to clean the engine bay. They brought the car back and the engine looks visually clean, but there is still a lingering burning oil smell in my brand new $60k car. I appreciate them attempting to resolve the situation, but there is absolutely no excuse to let something like this happen, especially on a brand new $60k car. The mechanic and the shop was negligent in making sure the car was ready to be picked up after a routine oil change. I have taken many different vehicles to many different shops and have never had the mechanic forget to replace the oil cap. My trust is betrayed and my brand new $60k car is tainted with engine oil in places that there never should have been thanks to the negligence of this shop. Everyone involved should be ashamed. I was offered a gift card and a refund for this disgrace of service but it doesn't change the fact that about .5-1 quart of oil was splattered all over my brand new $60k vehicles engine. I can only hope that this doesn't cause any future issues for my vehicle. I would take your car for an oil change literally anywhere else but here. At least they'll remember to replace the oil cap. read more

Not as busy when we arrived at this location the day after Christmas, so that was nice. We had to get the tire checked due to low pressure and us feeing a nail had to be causing the problem. Very quick approach from one of the employees and a fast free service. We did have an old plug that was no good anymore and then a nail. Yet again this place to the rescue! Les Schwab in Brighton sets the bar for all businesses in integrity and customer service. For the third time I rolled in with something in my tire that shouldn't be there, and the employees just jump right up and fix it! Once I got safely to the store and realized that I needed a rotation and a new sensor, I just kept walking up to the counter saying " one more thing" and the answer I always got from Kris was "yes we can do that", - always with a smile from everyone there. I cannot give a higher recommendation to a business then this Les Schwab store. We've been taking all our cars here since they opened and I hope they never close. read more

I hit a nasty pothole yesterday. Completely ruined my alignment I just got a couple weeks ago. My tires are brand new as well and I'm not looking to burn through them, so I needed an alignment done asap. I called them this morning and they got me in, got my alignment done, and didn't try to upsale me on any unnecessary repairs. It was an awesome experience. I went inside and waited only a few minutes and went to go pay and said it was free of charge. So this 5 star review is the least I could do for them. I went here to get my brakes done I needed new pads and rotors I'm from out of town it was my grandmas pickup they charged me a whole heck of a lot. I could have done it myself for around $300. There price was $971. Which was suppose to include topping off all the fluids fixing the broken lug and changing the oil. The only thing that got done were the brakes. I got the car home and realized all the fluids were virtually empty. So I checked the oil it was black dirty and went to look at the broken lug still broken. Not sure how they got such a good rating. I already knew I was getting ripped off on the price but I needed it done before I got to Colorado. And no one else could get it done. But I would not recommend this place. Also with the new brakes my car shakes so bad when it stops. read more

Took a truck tire in to have a drywall screw removed and a patch installed. Left it with them and was quoted 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Went back 1 hour and 50 minutes later to find that they hadn't even touched the tire. They literally blamed the COVID virus for not being able to fix a nail puncture in 1 hour and 50 minutes. They don't give a crap about the lost revenue from fixing a leak and the certainly don't care that they wasted my time, but I'll never buy any tires from them and I'll tell everyone I know about their indifference to their customers! read more

RUDE - DISCOURTEOUS - CONDESCENDING This store is a brand new establishment in our neighborhood which is a great growing part of the community. I was very excited to see this shop being built and looking forward to its opening for the convenience of having this service less than 1.5 miles from my house. My experience however did not meet my expectations. You would think that a new business to the community would have customer service and experience at the top of the priority list when establishing themselves, but sadly that was not the case. I called to make some queries about some work I needed on my vehicle and was appalled with the response. When I first called, the attendant that answered did not know how to answer my questions so (as opposed to winging it) he put on a more senior (I assume) associate. (so far so good) When I posed my questions, to the senior (or supposedly more knowledgeable) person the responses were not only rude (huh? What? What are you talking about?) but also extremely condescending. Overall, this guy treated me as though I was an absolute moron. Now, I may not be an expert but I am knowledgeable. My concern however, is those less knowledgeable could be taken advantage of. Ultimately, I know people deserve a lot more respect and common courtesy. Despite this initial treatment I pressed on and only continued to be spoken to as though I was a child. To add, (and after calling around) I found that not only were my queries understood but the prices they quoted me were 50% more costly than a shop with similar services; which leads me to believe they would take advantage of people less knowledgeable. As a result I will go out of my way to take my business elsewhere. This is not to say that others may have a better experience than I, but this is a warning that in my experience, the people running this business default to treating people with contempt - and that is certainly something I refuse to support. read more

After our recent snow storms, ice had settled on the inside of my wheels. I jumped in the car the next morning, unaware of the ice. As soon as I got on the interstate my steering wheel began shaking and I thought I had a flat tire. I made it to the very next exit and headed to Les Schwab. As soon as I pulled into the lot, someone ran out to my car to see how they could help me. I explained how nervous I was when my steering wheel started shaking so bad. That is when he pointed out the ice that had settled on the inside of my wheels over night. They pulled my car into the garage and quickly removed the ice. I was back on the road to work in 15 mins. It was perfect! They wouldn't allow me to pay anything for the service. I am very grateful for the prompt and curious service. I am not accustom to feeling as helpless as I did that morning on the interstate. read more

I think the customer service here is just great, plus they're being very careful about Covid. I had the tires replaced on my old Honda, and they sent me a reminder about getting them rotated. Plus, when you drive in with any vehicle, they'll check your air right away. This afternoon I drove in with a partial flat on a tire on our 4Runner. They checked it, removed a nail, fixed the tire, and all at no charge even though the tires had been purchased somewhere else. I really recommend Les Schwab in Brighton!! read more

I originally went in to have my tires balanced. They were going to charge me for two and do all four until they said they can't take a bald tire off a car. The tech said I could buy a new tire and they'll balance all 4 for free. I paid and went in my way to have my vehicle start shaking at 35 mph. I went back and they told me that it was because my wheels were bent. The manager told me that it is not their policy to check if wheels are bent. They'll put tires on a bent wheel, send you on your way, to find out your car shakes, to come back and tell you they're not responsible for knowing the wheels were bent because they don't check. I said I wanted my tire back, so they were kind enough to put my spare on and put the old tire on the bent wheel because it's against their policy to put bald tires on the car. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I am also a woman, and they probably didn't expect me to know a thing or two about tires and wheels. read more

I was here a little less than a year ago for an alignment after having my transmission rebuilt at a different location. The people at Les Schwab discovered that my whole suspension was off because someone at the previous shop at carelessly shoved it back into my vehicle. Didn't charge me a dime for such a huge discovery and I appreciated that so much. Watch out for this company. They will rip you off. Price check them and they can be beat by another les schwab owned by someone else. Get everything in writing as they like to state they got verbal approvals then hold your vehicle up until you pay. Sent a Spanish speaking individual in for a flat tire repair and ended up with an entire new rear end (overpriced) because they state he gave a verbal okay to fix everything. Corporate America does not operate on verbals. We had a fleet card that requires approval before repairs, not after. Of course you would state he never told you. You can understand your wanted verbal approval but make no attempt to call fleet first. Buyer beware with this store. read more

As a follow up to the original review I posted, (below): The store Manager visited my home this afternoon, personally apologizing, and providing us with two letters of apology. One from himself, the second, from the technician that had completed the work. I truly appreciated the personal touch and effort that was extended by both parties, and would add, I live in a rural area, several miles away from their store. Beyond the letters expressing their regret for this experience having happened, I'm confident, they have taken the matter quite seriously, and implemented control processes that will prohibit a repeat of this type of concern. I am satisfied with their responses, most appreciative of the actions taken, and feel they have gone the extra mile (literally) to ensure the matter was resolved to my satisfaction. As such, I am modifying my rating of this business, and will certainly reconsider my doing business with them in the future. ORIGINAL POST: Less than satisfactory experience! My son took his pickup in for an alignment. Technician advised he needed some additional work done. Not a problem with that, as it likely did. When he went to pick the truck up, a retired mechanic friend decided he would double check the work they had done. He found the nut on the tie rod end they had replaced to be so loose, he could turn it by simply running his finger along side of it. Yes, not even finger tight. Manager apologized and advised he had reviewed the issue with the tech. While that was certainly an appropriate action, he (the Manager) didn't seem overly concerned that he had nearly sent my son off to college with an unsafe vehicle. When (not if) the tie rod had come loose, it would have been catastrophic. read more

This Les Schwab Tire Center had my truck in the shop within a few minutes and had the leak fixed in 20 minutes. They not only fixed my tire quickly but did it for free! Came here for the first time to get new tires and wheels on my F250. As my wheels were getting done, a gentleman named Bryan told me my ball joints were bad on my front passenger side, in which I knew something was wrong because my tire had a huge tilt and tons of play in it. He did his job with integrity and was honest about his work. While he was working on my truck, he even showed me a couple things on how to do some future repairs and told me if anything goes wrong come back and see him. He will be the reason I come back to this place. Great service with all the staff! read more

Update to my previous review! As I mentioned before Les Schwab investigated finding me a replacement rim for the damaged one I wrote about, and quoted me $250. I had the damaged rim repaired and the tire mounted back on at Discount Tire (BTW- I have no affiliation with Discount Tire, I purchased my tires there so I have free mounting, balancing etc...). I have some concern with using a repaired rim, so asked the Discount Tire Service Writer if he could find me a NEW matching replacement rim while the tire was being mounted. After just a couple of minutes on the phone he approaches me and says "I found a NEW rim and can have it here in a couple of days, I can give it to you for $100". Holy Dog S*#T Les Schwab, I knew you were marking things up but GOUGING me considering the situation!?!? C'mon Man!!! I wish anyone who chooses to use this retailer the best of luck and I hope that your experience is nothing like mine was. I have spoken with others in the area that have done business here. Some have come away unscathed and there are others that share a similar experiences to mine. As a consumer who appreciates value, customer service and integrity, I can say from my experience that Les Schwab Tire has none of these. This is the second disappointing time ive been to Les Schwab. After the first time I told myself I wouldn't try it again but did give them a second shot. I dropped my truck off to do an alignment after I replaced the Steering Linkage and Steering Damper. I dropped it off around noon and wasn't in a hurry to get it back so I went home. I called around 3 to see where we stood because I had other errands to do and they said it would be done around 4. When I got back home around 4:15 I got a call from Josh (I think this was the name but I was so pissed I didn't retain it) saying I needed new upper and lower ball joints on my front drivers n passenger side. I literally told him "No I don't, I just replaced them a couple years ago and my truck only had 20-25K put on them since then. I argued with him for a bit, about him saying they have a lot of play in them, and asked him if they couldn't do the alignment because they think it needs them? He said hold on that he needed to ask his manager. When he came back on the phone he said his manager said they still can do it even though it will not be right because it needs ball joints... At this point I was beyond pissed off because they try to upsell their products and was still trying to push for me to do the work. Replacing ball joints in this truck is about a $700-$1000 job. But again I told him I don't need ball joints to which he started laughing at me, so now I'm really pissed off! I told him to take my F'n truck off the rack and I'll be there to pick it up. When I got there I walked into the shop and picked up my keys to leave.. I did not want to have anything to do with this place anymore and I will not give this place anymore of my money! I took my truck the next day to Brakes Plus in Brighton and they did the alignment and checked everything with success. When I talked to the tech about how everything went, he said it looked good and drove great. I asked him about my ball joints also (just to confirm what I already knew) and he said they were in good shape that they didn't need to be replaced. I'm here to write this review on behalf of other customers to be careful what they tell you. If you don't know about something on your car then get a second opinion. To the unknown customer this could have been an expensive fix for no reason. Please, please don't take what they say in full because at the end of the day they just want your money and this proves it... I had a lot more faith in them until this day and again I will never return to this place of business again. read more

After watching them spend 5 months building the largest brick building for a tire store I've ever seen, I figured I'd stop in to inquire about getting tires rotated and balanced on my truck. First off, the sales person, aka service writer guy comes running outside to greet a customer that just pulled in as I'm walking up- sort of like a used car lot! I proceed inside and wait about 5 minutes as they chat outside and the customer leaves. When I ask about getting a rotation, balance and a nail removed he quoted $86. I asked if that was for the life of the tires, or one time and he chuckled and said onetime. Needless to say, Discount Tire a mile away charged be $48 and I get tire life rotations and balancing! Discount has always been there for me in the past, and they will continue to get my business. Additionally, it appears that this new tire store only sells off brand tires for the most part! Odd! My wife visited 2 Jeep dealers today attempting tire rotation. Previously one of them damaged the wheel lock during last rotation without informing us. I called Les Schwab in Brighton and asked if they could help me out. Tech said if I came right over they would get me in. Soon after I arrived, the work had been completed. I called in I explained that I did not purchase these tires from Les Schwab but that they were located right down the street from me so I was hoping they would help fix it for free. When I arrived I was treated with kindness and they immediately got my truck in a bay and started working on it. They staff was quick, efficient, friendly, and didn't pressure me to buy anything.
