Joann was extremely patient and really took her time in making sure everything was done with precision and in all honesty the service exceeded my expectations. I felt bad that I chose a rather complicated service at such a late time, but she assured me that it was ok and proceed to take the time necessary in giving me the cut and color I requested. DO NOT COME TO THIS SALON!!!!! WARNING!!!! if you care about your hair and its condition you will stay far far away from this horrible place!! well for starters I moved here and was looking for a regular place to get my hair done and I came across this salon located near stater bros. When i first walked in, I was greeted with a snare from a blond girl doing hair in the front. I was going to walk out when a man came rushing to the front where I was standing and asked what I was there for, I told him cut so he sat me with a very nice girl named KC who barely spoke english. I tried to tell her what I wanted and I thought she understood me but sadly I was wrong. She BUTCHRED my hair!!!! I was so upset, after talking to her I beleive she said this was her first salon job. She has had absolutley NO experience. As I was about to leave and was HARASSED by the man Paul (who I believe is the manager/owner?) to buy a very expensive shampoo or conditioner, he told me $65 for it! for shampoo!!! I told him I was just there for a cut. He pushed and pushed and PUSHED for me to buy. Until I finally got away. It was a very bad experience and I will Never EVER recommend or go back there. read more

I have been going to Instyles in Azusa for about 7 years and Kasey has been caring for my hair for about 4 years now. Kasey is very warm and friendly and she has true hair styling talent especially for my very long and thick hair. Long,coarse hair is really hard to manage and she always makes it look great ! She is also a great colourist and really knows how to make the grey go away or put some natural highlights in there. She is a hair artiste and does short hair well , also. She is tri-lingual Vietnamese, Tagalog , and English and her English is just fine and we understand each other no problem. If u want, she will serve u some awesome Vietnamese coffee n if u are hungry, she will order some hot Pho for u from the restaurant next door to have a quick lunch while u wait for your touch color to "take". The owner Paul is a very cool guy who has created a bright, clean shoppe with nice flatscreen tv usually w Pandora on w good music. Overall, I'm always glad to go see my stylist Kasey and the friendly staff at Instyles. Highly recommended! read more

My name is Rose. While I was in my Master's program @ APU (right down the street), I came upon this nice hair salon as I was walking out of Marie Callendar's restaurant, which is in the same parking lot. Well, I fell in love with this place and with their service. I drive almost 2 hours to get here because I will NOT let anybody but Kasey touch my hair. Even though I've graduated, I will continue to make the long drive to this awesome place. Kasey is VERY attentive, and TRULY LISTENS to what you want done. She ALWAYS knows just exactly what I want :-). Paul and his entire staff are we wonderful. I've spoken with the other stylists while I'm there, and they are very friendly too :-). I have been coming to Instyles for about 4 years and Jennifer is the ONLY person I would EVER let do my hair now!!!!! She always knows what is in fashion or what the next trends in hair color and cuts are coming up in season! The first time she ever did my hair I received so many compliments, I knew I found the most awesome hairstylist! Jennifer gives her special haircuts she calls "micro" trims and she ONLY cuts off the dead ends, I have been tryin to grow my hair out and she keeps it healthy and long. She also does amazing color that looks natural and compliments my skin tone, when she does my hi lights it looks like I have been on the beach in Hawaii for a week!!!! I am so extremely pleased with Instyles Hair Salon!!! I have been taking my son to supercuts for the longest time only because- he is a child- just moved to this city and it is so hard to find a new stylist that you're happy with. RUM did the job for my son, not only am I happy, my son is very very happy for the 1st time. He was friendly, and did the job even better than I expected. Kasey is a miracle worker. I came in on an emergency hair bang situation. I had cut them myself thinking it was as easy as you see on youtube now. She fixed my bangs and was patient with me while my hair grew out. Once she started trimming my ends noticed my hair grew fast and looks healthy. Magic touch. I been going to her for over five years now. I trust her with all my crazy hair ideas, experiments. She usually talks me into a more realistic look which always works. Everyone in the salon is very friendly. And yes if you are not a regular recommend an appt. but I notice walk-ins are always welcomed make sure you put your name on the list. read more

my son got a haircut by John and it came out great! I went in days later for an ombre and booked it with Yvonne. seriously she has talent and beyond amazing! I told her what I wanted and she suggested something different and I am super glad I took her advice and let her work her magic! my hair looks like something out of those videos and photos from those really expensive salons. Kasey is the BEST! I've referred at least 3 other people to her. She is so sweet and gives extremely reasonable prices. She always remembers little details about school or my mom and is very patient. The first time I went, she recommended a color and I said I wanted a lighter color. I was wrong. She ended up redoing it with the color she had originally recommended without any attitude. She works fast but is very focused and precise. She does what other salons do in half the time with better results. LOVE this place. Cant beat the prices and the quality. read more

WOW!! If you need a new hair salon go and visit Mia and Paul at the Instyles Hair Salon you will not be disappointed. Mia permanently straighted my hair using the Yuko system and gave me an awesome haircut people keep complimenting me. I have had my hair permanentIy straightened before but Mia is by far the best. Mia also does my waxing for me and is great at shaping my eyebrows. Paul is so wonderful and will always work hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I've been going to Paul (owner) for 5 years now. On my recommendation my husband, his mother, stepfather, and grandfather all go to Paul. Paul is extremely friendly and knows his customers by name. His salon is exceptionally clean, which is a must for me. His prices are extremely reasonable. A regular cut includes a shampoo and conditioning, cut, and blow dry (for women).
