Whenever I go to her for a new style, I'll have an idea in my head that works, but she'll be very honest with me and tell me if what I want works with my head shape, facial features, and desire to remain low-maintenance. Then she'll always come to a compromise and style me in a way that's cohesive with my look and lifestyle, while making sure it's still in the realm of what I want, and all at a VERY reasonable price. I have been here three times; always to Lynette, she gives a great haircut. Thought I should mention her by name as after going to her, many people began to ask me where I went to have my hair done, complimenting the cut and style. This has never happened with any other stylist I have gone to, but something about her haircuts really suit you. I have been a regular at New Waves for many years. Easily 20 plus years I have moved out of state but traveled last week to visit friends and went to see my old stylist, Lynette. I am in the Covid 19 high risk category. I felt completely safe showing up for my appt at New Waves. They practiced sanitation guidelines, one client per stylists, stylists were 6 feet apart or more, I waited outside for my scheduled appointment, my stylists Lynette, took my temperature, cleaned and sanitized the station in front of me before I sat down.
