I wanted to repair and add to the insulation on my metal central heating duct work. All the other companies I called were only interested in ripping out my ducting and replacing it with flexible ducts even though my metal ducting was in good condition. Sean did the the job for well under a $1000 without trying to up sell me. The work looks very well done. If you do this kind of work at your house, I highly recommend using R8 foil backed insulation for a better and longer lasting result. read more

My washer and dryer were attached by earthquake safety clips and a huge pain to separate. He took care to separate them which was very very difficult to do and even cuts his hand doing it. I'm a picky person but I can't complain about Aircom. They were friendly, quick, and competent from my first inquiry through the end of the job. Theirs was not the cheapest estimate I found but there was less than 5% difference between bids. Duct cleaning is expensive. But it makes an enormous difference. Usually, dust in the system upsets me for days after the heater first goes on in the winter, but not this year after the Aircom cleaning, so I'm happy. read more

The technician didn't show up at the expected time. I had to call them. Somehow my appointment was canceled but not by us. Requested that they come the same day since we had moved furniture and stripped beds. They begrudgingly committed to 2:00 even though they typically don't work past 2 (information I didn't need to know). By the way I typically don't get flaked on and then I'm made to feel guilty for wanting you out same day. I had to field multiple other calls from them to ask if they could just come another day. Then the technician calls at 12 and says he can come at 12. I had previous told two other call center people that my daughter naps from 12-2. Told technician not to come until 2. The technician shows up at 2ish. I was unimpressed with the equipment that use. He wore a vacuum (cheap looking) on his back and had an air compressor running to blow air in the vents. Only took the average person doesn't have is their slightly damaged cup they put over the hole to keep dust from escaping. I was not offered a discount for all the scheduling inconvenience. A job that was going to take 2-3 hours was done in under an hour. I actually cleaned my own reusable filter myself out side with my hose and let it dry in the sun while he did his "cleaning". I struggled to put this filter back in on my own while the technician was on the other side of the wall re-installing the intake vent cover. He was literally struggling to reinstall this while I struggle to install the filter. As he was getting paid I removed the very same cover in order to finish installing the filter. There was no way to reinstall it without thee cover off. Is this service suppose to include this? The opening from filter to intake is 1 foot apart. So rude to just sit there and watch me struggle while I did the job he should of been doing anyways. A simple I can do that for you would of sufficed. So frustrating! I was just glad he left and I was done fielding the phone calls to reschedule my appointment. Paid him just to get him out of my house. No idea if a ton of dust came out or not as I didn't see much but he tells me it did. I'll say air feels cleaner but that could just be my filter change too. After they left my wife said I should clean vents for a living. It's the easiest work ever and they barely do anything. ‍‍‍ At least she had a sense of humor at the end. Aircom really helped out with my dryer issue. I can't remember the name of the gentleman that helped me (Aircom can comment to give him the credit he deserves) however he went above and beyond to clean the dyer vent. He cleaned 10ft deep from the exterior of the condo you can say that was the easy part. The difficult part came with my huge stacked LG washer/drier units. Again I apologize I can't remember the guys name, but the gentleman removed the dryer in a very small and tight space so he can clean another 2ft deep from the interior of the dryer duct. This space can barely fit the dryer let alone someone carrying it out of the closet. I want to point out that I contacted other companies besides Aircom and they wouldn't even consider touching the stacked washer/dryer. So Aircom really went above and beyond to help me out. Aircom if you're reading this please reply with the name of the gentleman who helped with the stacked white LG washer/drier that needed to placed on the kitchen table to provide the necessary space for him squeeze in and clean the duct.
