I would say, they did an excellent job - Starting with Jeremy, who accommodated my schedule for preliminary inspect and gave me a on the spot quote. Elder and the guys did an excellent job in covering up the entire house and finished the job in 2 days. My house had no insulation in the walls- to very less in the attic. After the insulation my Heat as well as Cold is retained inside the house. Heat turns on once in a 24 Hr cycle vs multiple times in an hour previously. If you are thinking of in wall insulation, it's totally worth it. The quote was the most competitive and they were very flexible. I am still closing out the multiple holes in the wall, will take time as i prefer to do it myself- I had plans to paint anyway .

The addition of two QuietCool fans also seemed like a major plus, as I was already familiar with the product and expected it would significantly help with cooling. When it came to the insulation work, I was very pleased. The crew did an excellent job removing the old insulation and installing the new. They worked efficiently, protected my floors well, and ensured that no insulation debris entered the living areas. That part of the job was handled professionally. However, I was less impressed with the radiant barrier installation. This may partly be due to a misunderstanding on my end, as I expected a different type of material, but the end result did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was the installation of the fans. At best, it was very poorly executed. The fans are 16" units with 12" duct openings, yet they were installed directly against the gables, which severely restricts airflow. Proper installation should have included a box or shroud to help direct airflow effectively through the fans. Because of this poor airflow, the fans do not cool the attic--in fact, they appear to make things worse. I can actually watch the temperature on the thermostat increase when the fans are turned on. I reached out to my representative multiple times, but the response was disappointing. I was told they could not take the fans back, and when I asked why the attic temperature increases when they are running, I was told there was no explanation and nothing further could be done. As temperatures continue to rise, I'm left frustrated that I spent $1,200 on two fans that perform the opposite of what was promised, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I was contacted by both the project manager and the owner. I reiterated the reasons for my frustration, explaining that my review reflected my honest impression of what I saw as a lack of clear communication and effective management of the project and customer expectations. The project manager apologized for the communication breakdown and asked if I would be open to giving them an opportunity to make things right. A technician was then sent out, and he took the time to fully understand the issue, carefully examine the installation, and make several adjustments to the original work. He believes these changes will help improve airflow in the attic. Since my attic has some unique characteristics, he also provided helpful suggestions for additional ways to improve cooling and airflow--something I feel should have been addressed during the initial planning stage of the project. Whether these changes will result in significant improvement remains to be seen; I'll have a better sense once the weather warms up. I do appreciate the follow-up and the willingness of the project manager to reach out and try to make things right, and I have updated my review accordingly. That said, I want to be clear that the increase in my rating is largely due to the technician and the time he invested in evaluating the full situation, as well as both implementing and proposing thoughtful solutions.

When Elmer came out, he took about 30 minutes to walk through the house and gave us a completely different--and much more reassuring--assessment. He identified entry points where rodents were getting into the crawl space, explained that the air ducts did not need to be replaced, and instead recommended insulating the rafters, reinsulating the attic floor, and cleaning and reinsulating the crawl space. He also suggested installing an attic fan to improve air circulation. Throughout the visit, he was straightforward, knowledgeable, and very approachable. We decided to move forward with the attic fan. Umar updated the contract promptly and even came out personally to help program the fan and connect it to my phone. Their team worked tirelessly over four days and did an excellent job. They were professional, detail-oriented, and left the house clean when they were done. We first called Attic Kings about 4 years ago after heavy rains led to rats getting into our attic…read more They caused a huge mess, and I was especially concerned about the urine, droppings, old insulation, and fiberglass getting into the rest of the house. Moshe came out right away, inspected everything, and gave us a very reasonable quote to seal all of the entry points, clean and sanitize the attic, deodorize the space, remove all of the old insulation, and eventually replace it with new insulation. One of the biggest concerns for me was cleanliness. We had just installed brand new carpet upstairs, and the attic entrance is right there. Moshe covered everything in plastic and actually created a contained tunnel from the attic all the way downstairs and out the door so the old insulation and debris never traveled through the house. That made me feel much more comfortable about having the work done. Moshe and his team were fast, clean, and efficient, but what I appreciated most was how thorough Moshe was. He took the time to explain everything, sent us detailed photos, and never made us feel rushed. Because we have two attic spaces that connect along the roofline, Moshe did not just seal everything and immediately put down new insulation. He left traps in place and came back for several weeks to make sure there were no rats still hiding somewhere or finding another way in. Only after we were all comfortable that the problem was completely resolved did he install the new insulation. I really appreciated that because the last thing I wanted was to spend money on new insulation and have it ruined again. 4 years later, we still have the trap up there and have not had another rat problem. Recently, we had a completely separate issue with yellow jackets that made an opening near the roofline and got inside the roof area. After pest control handled the yellow jackets, I called Moshe just to ask whether the opening needed some kind of special repair. He came out the very next morning, walked the perimeter of both rooflines, found a few small areas that had shifted or opened over the years, sealed the area where the yellow jackets got in, and even went back into the attic to make sure everything was still secure and there was no evidence of rats. There wasn't. What really impressed me is that this was years after the original work, and he still came out as a courtesy to check everything. That says a lot about the kind of person he is and how he runs his business. Another thing I really appreciate is that when you call Attic Kings, you actually get Moshe. You are not dealing with an automated system, a call center, or a different person every time. He is very hands-on, and the people he brings with him have always been professional, respectful and clean. We even scheduled the original work while we were away from the house, and I felt completely comfortable trusting Moshe and his team in our home. His pricing was competitive, the value was excellent, and most importantly, the work has held up for 4 years. It is getting harder to find small businesses where the owner still answers the phone, shows up personally, stands behind the work, and cares about maintaining a relationship with customers long after the job is finished. A few days after we met and I signed the contract, the team came out to remove old roof debris left over from a recent reroofing, removed our home's original insulation, and installed fresh batt insulation in both the attic and crawlspace. They also added rodent proofing throughout the attic while they were at it. About a month later we heard critter noises, so I texted them and they came out to inspect. He didn't find anything in the traps but reset them to be safe. Sure enough, something took the bait because we heard it go off! Jose came back shortly after and discovered 2 mice (thankfully no rats), found a gap where the roof met the garage and sealed it up. He ran an ozone generator as a precaution for any smells. A couple weeks after that we heard faint sounds again. Jose returned, found one more entry point, sealed it, and since then there's been total silence! I really appreciated how thorough and persistent they were even after the job was technically done. Solid team, fair price, and they stand behind their work. Highly recommend Attic Kings!

Our experience with Attic Pro was overall good, although the quality of service varied somewhat depending on the individual team member. Fortunately, we started the project with Assad, who did a very thorough inspection of our attic. He recommended not only cleaning it but also replacing the insulation, since it was very old, dirty, and heavily contaminated with rodent droppings. The initial quote was on the higher side, but Assad was able to offer us a discount. The project was completed in two phases. During the first phase, Osman's team removed the old insulation, set up traps, and did an excellent job sealing openings into the attic. They really went above and beyond, including closing several openings that we specifically pointed out and replacing some of the old mesh. Unfortunately, one of the rodents ended up getting trapped inside a wall and died, leaving us with an unpleasant smell behind a kitchen cabinet. I contacted Attic Pro several times about the issue, and each time they sent someone out to inspect the attic and help us address the problem. Their call center staff were also consistently courteous and responsive. In total, five rodents were caught. Whenever someone from the team came out, they would also inspect the attic and seal any additional openings they found with mesh. While a few of the individuals who came later were not as professional as Osman's team, they did complete the work properly and were patient throughout the process. They also waited more than a month before starting the second phase, giving us time to make sure there were no more signs or noises of rodents in the attic. Once we were satisfied, the new insulation was installed quickly, and Osman's team--Anthony and Roni--did a very good job. Overall, despite a few bumps along the way, we had a good experience with Attic Pro. The professionalism of some team members, particularly Assad and Osman's crew, really stood out. I would recommend them, while also noting that the experience can vary depending on the crew assigned to the job.

Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming. Chris showed up during the window he quoted and wasted no time getting to work. He started the second he arrived and was done within the hour. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair and so far, in the couple of weeks since he was here, we've had no issues with the dryer. Before he left, he also sent us a ton of pictures of what the vent looked like post-cleaning. Super happy and relieved.

He even cleaned the dirty floor under the dryer and the washer when he was all done! So glad that I called to have my dryer serviced before I had any problems because my dryer vent hose had come apart from the back of the dryer and needed repair, which was included in the price. Crawl space insulation++!! Eduardo of ECO Attic Systems and his crew are amazing and should be at the top of your list for any Attic or crawlspace insulation job. I had actually contacted the highest average reviewed competitor via Yelp and used the option to request bids from multiple providers. 2 minutes after I submitted the form Eduardo called me and was very friendly, knowledgeable and demonstrated an eagerness to solve my insulation needs without breaking the bank. I know this may no be common, but he was able to come by my house that same day and do an inspection to build a quote for the job. The crawlspace had a specific challenge with the support beams being 48 inches on center making batt insulation not as easy of an option compared to spray foam insulation. I won't go into the specifics on how he worked through the challenge, but his solution allowed the cost to be kept reasonable and result in a quality install. Eduardo got me the bid the next day and it was very reasonable and comprehensive. The job took two days and the first day was all prep work to ensure everything went well the 2nd day. He and his team put in two FULL days of work (under the house over summer didn't require them to stop due to heat limits that an attic would have). By the end of the second day they had completely insulated the crawlspace to perfection, had re-hung my entire HVAC ductwork and rodent proofed the space. Huge kudos on the HVAC ductwork efforts, today its 109 degrees outside and the AC has always struggled to keep up and my son's room has always been the hottest over summer and coldest over winter and now, because of his work, the AC is working better than ever as there are no more sagging HVAC ducting. The fact is that he told me about what he was going to do and included it on the bid, but in experience with other providers, I was expecting the "secondary work" to be secondary quality, it was not, it was TOP quality. ECO Attic Systems, Eduardo and his crew demonstrate a pride in quality workmanship and are helping build a better community in their efforts. I will be hiring them again when I am ready to do the attic and I highly recommend that if you have an insulation job in mind that you contact ECO Attic Systems. I hired Eduardo and his team to build a sound-insulated room in our basement that would allow me to play my saxophone with minimum disturbance throughout the remainder of the house (and with minimal disturbance of our neighbor's peace and tranquility). Throughout the month-long project, Eduardo proved himself to be reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and dependable. The result is that I now have a beautiful music studio space that meets all of my requirements. The sound insulation Eduardo installed works well--he knew exactly what would and would not work--and all aspects of the job (framing, leveling the floor, selecting the window, installing mass vinyl and quiet rock, choosing good doors and excellent lighting, installing a heat duct, etc. etc.) make the space one one that I will hopefully enjoy for many years. The job proved to be more expensive than I had contemplated, but not because Eduardo's pricing was too high or unreasonable: in fact, we negotiated several items, and he added tasks without charging for them. Eduardo has access to many knowledgeable and competent workers, who without exception were courteous, hard working, and reliable. Although this project was not one that Eduardo typically does, he proved that he knew what to do, delivered on promises he made, and created a room that is functionally and aesthetically pleasing. I needed someone to check my attic since my pg&e heating bills were on the $300s, so I quickly saw eco attic systems on a home improvement magazine, I scheduled an appointment with Andrea over the phone, two days later Eduardo showed up on time and told me that I needed to do a deep cleaning to my attic but most importantly air seal it, he showed me a certificate from pg&e that he had attended to many science building classes and has been working in the insulation business for more than 5 years, his knowledge and work that he showed me that he had done previously really convinced me. We heard about Eco Attic when our across the street neighbor hired them to replace the insulation in their attic. I had wanted to get ours done too because it had been years since it was replaced and little creatures started to nest up there. With having a baby in the house I didn't want any of the attic debris or rat poo to get into the air that gets pumped in the house while the AC or heater is on. When Eduardo can he took a look in the attic and found that the air ducts were not properly on, there was a lot of places that the air leaked, and noticed places where the mice came in from. When I hired him, he fixed all of it, even going beyond and fixing small issues that were in the attic like coving a hole with drywall, and fixing the bathroom fan duct. His team is fast and makes sure the house is prepped for their presence. They also make sure they clean up thoroughly after themselves. Eduardo also ensures that the work is complete by returning 2 weeks later to ensure that the mice are no longer in the attic and just double-checking the work. Today I had the insulation in my attic replaced after a rat infestation. Eduardo at Eco Attic Systems was awesome. He gave me a reasonable price that included Air Draft Sealing and Air Duct Cleaning. The first arrival was a huge truck that dropped off the insulation with the driver placing it in the garage. Soon after, Eduardo called to let me know he was 30 minutes away. Once they arrived I felt very comfortable leaving for the day as I didn't want to hang around while all the work was being done. It may sound weird, but I can already feel a difference in my place now that the insulation has been replaced. (It had been six weeks since the rat guys removed the old insulation and their weekly inspections were completed to make sure the attic was rat free.) I hired Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems this spring to insulate my attic spaces. My house is an older California home that never had insulation installed in the attic (or walls). I didn't feel like I wanted to bite off the complexity of in-wall insulation, but after talking to Eduardo, doing the attics made a lot of sense. He's very knowledgeable and can quickly explain the difference between different insulation materials, and also suggested air sealing for cracks and nooks where air can leak into the walls or rooms. The blown insulation work was done for my 1600 sq ft house in a day, with another half day or so spent on installing access panels for the cutouts. They even took the time to prime and paint the access panels. I already notice a difference mid-day, where the upstairs rooms are less warm. And I've needed less heating at night. 6 Stars! Eduardo and his team did a great job. Before starting they put up plastic sheeting and tarps to cover the floor - protecting us and our house from dust or loose insulation. Next they vacuumed the attic - removing the 30 year old blown in insulation (and the old shingles and rat turds - yuck). Then they sealed the attic, including covering a 4' x 2' opening from the old plumbing and heating system. Next the R38 insulation in 16" x 48" batts - edge to edge, snug and not compressed. They also insulated the 30" x 30" plywood cover for the access opening - nice touch! And before leaving they cleaned everything up, vacuumed the floors, and wiped off a few fingerprints. Eduardo is one of the good ones out there!!! No BS, totally transparent and one of those contractors you can TRUST. He came out and totally blew apart another vendor's quote / estimate and told us the truth about what was going on in our attic. The other vendor had basically flat-out lied to my wife and I during the quote process and oversold his services and tried to sell us on doom and gloom about what was going on but Eduardo took a look and immediately told us the truth and that we would be fine and provided the perfect solution for us. I am so impressed with the service and attention to detail provided by Eduardo and crew. His initial site visit included a full inspection of my attic, including photos. He explained the process in detail and provided firm price for the work. Install day, he and crew arrived promptly, curtained off the work area and began a two day process of cleaning, prepping and installing new insulation in my 47 year old attic. Eduardo and team did an amazing job. We purchased a new house and have an issue with air leakage into the house and a nearby cigarette smoker. It was causing a lot of distress. Eduardo came the next day to do a blower door test and we figured out where the leaks were coming from. Two days later, he had his whole team here and they fixed and sealed all the leaks in the home. I had a rodent infestation in my crawl space that seemed to never end, I got in touch with Eduardo, came the same day to give me a bid about replacing the damaged insulation in the crawl space, cleaning the rodent mess and cleaning our duct work. We used Eco Attic Systems to remove old blown in attic insulation and then install new batts insulation. Leopoldo and Francisco were the team members that did all of the work. They were friendly, efficient, they worked fast and they left the attic and house clean after they completed the work. Since we were having the house rewired the old insulation had to be removed first and then they had to come back a second time to install the new insulation. He put on the full suit and got down into the crawl space and checked all the vents and pipes to make sure there was no damage, including taking pictures to show us. After all the insulation was removed, they air-sealed all the penetrations (with fire-rated spray foam) and then added a fluffy R38 insulation everywhere. And this was all via the roof, not dragging hoses and insulation through the house to get access to the attic hatch. Much easier for me not to have people going inside our house all day making a mess. The roofing job was delayed for 2 days due to possible rain and they worked directly with Insul Techs to adjust the scheduling, making it all painless and seamless for me. Moshe came out right away, inspected everything, and gave us a very reasonable quote to seal all of the entry points, clean and sanitize the attic, deodorize the space, remove all of the old insulation, and eventually replace it with new insulation. One of the biggest concerns for me was cleanliness. We had just installed brand new carpet upstairs, and the attic entrance is right there. Moshe covered everything in plastic and actually created a contained tunnel from the attic all the way downstairs and out the door so the old insulation and debris never traveled through the house. That made me feel much more comfortable about having the work done. Moshe and his team were fast, clean, and efficient, but what I appreciated most was how thorough Moshe was. He took the time to explain everything, sent us detailed photos, and never made us feel rushed. Because we have two attic spaces that connect along the roofline, Moshe did not just seal everything and immediately put down new insulation. He left traps in place and came back for several weeks to make sure there were no rats still hiding somewhere or finding another way in. Only after we were all comfortable that the problem was completely resolved did he install the new insulation. I really appreciated that because the last thing I wanted was to spend money on new insulation and have it ruined again. 4 years later, we still have the trap up there and have not had another rat problem. Recently, we had a completely separate issue with yellow jackets that made an opening near the roofline and got inside the roof area. After pest control handled the yellow jackets, I called Moshe just to ask whether the opening needed some kind of special repair. He came out the very next morning, walked the perimeter of both rooflines, found a few small areas that had shifted or opened over the years, sealed the area where the yellow jackets got in, and even went back into the attic to make sure everything was still secure and there was no evidence of rats. There wasn't. What really impressed me is that this was years after the original work, and he still came out as a courtesy to check everything. That says a lot about the kind of person he is and how he runs his business. Another thing I really appreciate is that when you call Attic Kings, you actually get Moshe. You are not dealing with an automated system, a call center, or a different person every time. He is very hands-on, and the people he brings with him have always been professional, respectful and clean. We even scheduled the original work while we were away from the house, and I felt completely comfortable trusting Moshe and his team in our home. His pricing was competitive, the value was excellent, and most importantly, the work has held up for 4 years.
