Came across BGreen On Google one day. Didn't really think about attic cleaning but when I went into my attic of my 1907 home it was a mess and odors triggered allergies. I decided to give BGreen ATTIC cleaning a try and I couldn't be more pleased. Rami came out and gave me an estimate on Sunday and they got to work the next day. Rami was very honest and professional. They stuck to their estimate and did an excellent job of cleaning, sanitizing and covering a couple vents that were missing mesh in the attic. I'm really thankful for the insulation work they did as on these hotter days the house remains cool. I can now go up in the attic and it even smells clean. No more fear of allergies getting triggered. Totally recommend attic cleaning to anyone and these guys are the ones to do it. read more

We received a free estimate for rodents in our attic. Pro Attic - B Green was the first company to come out and assess our situation. The man was nice, unfortunately, he also tried to sell us on all new attic insulation. He said we had an infestation. We had two other vermin abatement companies out to give us their estimates. The second set of companies almost matched one another dollar for dollar, work for work. Unbeknownst to each other, both said there was no reason to rip out insulation and replace it. Our situation was not nearly as dire as the Pro Attic person said. His quote was just under $7,000! I recommend getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion before ripping out all of your insulation. read more

I contacted Pro Attic -- B Green to have my dryer vent cleaned. I had used them before but with a different technician. Unfortunately, not only did Danny (or Dan) do a shabby job on the first visit (my dryer ceased working with any heat or any exhaust) but also he failed on the second time when he came to fix it. Things happen and jobs can go awry (totally understandable) but both he and Miriam in the office claimed that the lack of heat/exhaust had nothing to do with his vent cleaning. It took him several days to return for that second visit, which lasted only minutes and where he also left my dryer off its stand. I ended up hiring another vent service, who came on time and properly cleared the vent and the dryer is working perfectly now. Shame on Pro Attic for giving lousy service twice and not owning up to doing a poor job in the first place. read more

I had a terrible experience with BGreen Service company. They are extremely unprofessional in many ways. We moved to a new apartment in Danville. The carpets looked good and I only wanted to sanitize them after the previous owner. I wanted to save money on cleaning because my carpets were fine so I arranged the cleaning via a Living Social Deal. My mistake. I got pretty much what I paid for. On the 24 of July Danny technician came to my place and he said that the regular cleaning would be just very basic steam without shampoo so I end up paying $41 more to add deep cleaning (for 2 bedrooms only). Unfortunately Danny did a terrible job and after the cleaning my carpets looked worse than before. Not only they didn't clean them but they created new awfully looking stains. Some areas became brighter as the other stayed dirty and edges between the areas were striking. On the next day I called Denny and sent him photos. He asked to give him some time to think over. He never called me back again so I had to talk to Dan (the owner, as far as I understand). He said that they would come back to me when they had an appointment in the area. I waited for several more weeks and nobody ever called or came back. In 2 months, after several phone calls they send me a new guy. He and Dan said to me that they couldn't re-clean the carpets for free and offered me a "special" price for a new cleaning. Of course I refused to pay. As an answer they refused to redo the carpets. So now I have my carpets ruined. For $90 B Green Carpets ruined my perfectly good carpets. Stay away from these guys. read more

What a great and professional Company. They performed asbestos removal that covered my decaying heater ducts. All regulations were followed. They came in and installed new heating ducts and both times left the jobsite clean as when they arrived. Their pricing was inline with the industry. BGreen did such a great job on our house! Dan, the owner, came out to make an assessment of our crawl space and attic. He was so professional and a great guy overall. We scheduled an appointment while Dan was at the house. When they came, they cleaned out both our attic and crawl space and added brand new insulation to the attic and water barriers to our crawl space. All at such a reasonable price! They also cleared out some dead rats and put in sanitation material and rodent traps. They closed up some openings to the attic and crawl space they found that rodents could potentially use. They even showed me before and after pictures. Isaiah and his crew did all this in a day's work and were extremely professional and thorough. Since then we have had them come out twice to check on rodent activity and the traps. Dan (a different Dan) came out both times and brought Eddie with him the second time. They were so friendly and thorough as well. They checked the traps, put in new ones, closed any openings and even closed openings they volunteered to find inside the house. They took pictures AND video of the attic and crawl space to show me there was no evidence of rodent activity. I couldn't recommend this company more! read more

UPDATE: I raise the rating from one (1) to two (2) stars after the owner called me in an attempt to modify my rating. While I appreciate the follow up, it was clear that he only cared about the rating and not about the problem; i.e. their inability to communicate what services they provide and that they are unable to provide estimates from blueprints. Another troubling thing is that after I reviewed their California License (California License #1025592), they claim to have no employees. It makes me wonder if they are only sending out people who are independent contractors, limiting the legal recourse options customers may have against the company. Full disclosure, I did not use them for insulation services. I am only rating the initial contact with the company. I used Homeadvisor to request quotes for the installation of wall-cavity insulation. Marian (scheduler?) called me quickly, and asked to set up an appointment at the home. I explained that the home was not built yet, and was in the foundation installation phase. I requested to email my plans to get a quote. She insisted that the technician had to meet me somewhere to give me a quote (sounded very shady). I suggested I speak with a technician on the phone, where I could give a description of the project. The women became increasingly more rude, explaining that she "has no pricing information" and provided me no other alternatives other than meeting a technician in person. The company may be good at providing, but I will never know because they do not know how to bid/estimate projects. read more

I do not usually review businesses, but I had some rather upsetting experiences with B-Green. When the gentleman came out to evaluate my attic, he repeatedly came into my home despite the fact that the attic entry was through my garage. It gave me the uneasy feeling that I was being cased. When the work crew arrived, I was not home but I arrived several hours later. The supervisor Eddi needed to talk to me several times and twice he walked right into my home without knocking. He then disappeared for over an hour to dump the old insulation somewhere. After he returned, he asked to use my bathroom. I found this odd since he was literally just on the road and could have used a public restroom. I spoke with the owner and he apologized and said he would do my two week inspection himself. We had an appointment window, and he never arrived during that time and never called to explain why he was running late until way past the time. When he finally came for the inspection, the extent of this was to stand on a ladder and peer inside the attic crawlspace and tell me that the rat traps hadn't snapped. Really? That's the extent of it? Honestly, I had already done that before he even arrived and I find it hard to believe that I paid thousands of dollars for this. He could not tell me if they were able to close up any more entrance holes for the rats. I think the inspection was absolutely worthless. The owner knew that I was upset, and he offered me $200 back on what I had paid. It's now been almost 2 months since I was told that and I have not seen it. read more

We just finished our insulation and moisture barrier today and we could not be happier with our entire experience. Dan was quick to follow up on our initial inquiry and was able to fit us in for a quote. He came out early during the arrival window as we requested and was very warm and professional. He was very very detailed and honest in his explanations and his recommendation which were in line with some other quotes that we had received. He was able to provide a quote and help us schedule during our meeting. BGreen was prompt to follow up and confirm our order as well as confirm when the crew would arrive. Carmelo and his crew were on time and called us 30 min prior to arrival so we could be ready. They were great about explaining what the plan for the day was and making sure we knew what to expect. The team was efficient and thorough. We were very impressed with how well they cleaned up after themselves. Many companies have gone into our attic space and come back out only to leave a mess on the floor. These guys conscientiously vacuumed after finishing the insulation and they even patched some additional areas that they felt like could potentially be issues in the future for rodents. They were super respectful and let us know that there was existing debris that they removed for us because who wants trash cluttering up their attic and crawl space?! It has been insanely hot lately and we can already feel the difference from the insulation that was just installed. A truly wonderful team of very kind and considerate people. Would never hire this firm again to do anything. My objective was to insulate part of the attic so my tenant would be less cold. I spoke with a few firms, all of whom noted rodent feces and advised mitigating that before installing insulation. Makes perfect sense. I decided to go with BGreen, much to my regret. Pros: - Friendly sales guy/estimator + business owner - I now have insulation in parts of my attic. - Pests are now less likely to enter my attic and crawl space. Cons: - Crew did a very superficial job removing feces from the attic and basement. In areas I could easily access in attic and basement faces remained all over the place, which makes me very suspicious of what they did in the crawl space and similarly hard to access areas. - Crew installed insulation on top of a giant pile of rat feces. Unbelievable, but true. - Crew did not fully seal air gaps as per contract. - Crew did not remove all old insulation and trash from attic as per contract. - Crew did not properly install insulation. The technicians clearly knew how to efficiently lay insulation above and below wiring when asked, but did not do this until I insisted. - Foreman made a blatantly antisemitic comment to me, asked me to "Stop being so Jewish." - Foreman took a 3 story tall ladder out from under my house without asking for permission, and then proceeded to recklessly wield it. This would have been a comical circus act had he not put life, limb, and property at risk. Property damaged resulted: asbestos siding was cracked and brand new window paint job was damaged. I'm grateful nobody was harmed and more damage did not occur. BGreen has not returned to fix this, despite numerous communications about it. Foreman lied to my face about the results of his foolishness, despite the fact that I witnessed it first hand. - Foreman lied about his work. While standing next to his incomplete job (insulation not laid to proper depth) he told me it was complete. - Foreman decided for some reason to install insulation in part of the attic that was not part of the contract and then said he was out of insulation and couldn't complete the part I needed him to do (above tenant's unit). Eventually he relented. - Crew has not returned to check rat traps as per contract, one of which has been triggered. They have been notified of this repeatedly. - Owner has some weird boundaries. As others have mentioned, he will just enter your house without introducing himself or knocking, etc... which is about 10% friendly and cute but 90% disconcerting. He also left his truck running in my driveway for about 30 minutes while stopping by once. Strange for a company named BGreen. read more

Wonderful experience with BGreen. Dan came out and gave me a detailed estimate. He was very friendly, honest, and thorough. He was also very sweet with my two year old! A few days later, Isaiah and a few other men came to take out our old insulation and replace it with new insulation. They covered out floors and walls while removing the insulation, and vacuumed when finished. They also fixed 3 vents that had holes in them as part of their rodent prevention! I didn't even know we had those holes. The new insulation looks so nice. They got here on schedule and were finished in about 5 hours. I left with my toddler and dog while they were working and they called me when they were finished. A very trustworthy hard working bunch. Thank you! I bought my deal on Living Social and paid the $50 upgrade cause I've lived in my flat for 5 years and also have pets. Dimitri came over and did an epic job. He was also professional and friendly. I told him to let me know when it was time to move some of the furniture around so I could help and he did it all on his own. I've rented a cleaner before and it honestly only looked half as good. I have now used BGreen Service for carpet cleaning twice - first for the main floor of my home and the second time for the lower floor of my home. I used a GroupOn coupon for 3 rooms. The complaints I see from people who purchased coupons and were dissatisfied didn't read the coupon details. The coupon is for steam cleaning. There are two other levels of cleaning, as was explained to me when I scheduled my appointment. Steam cleaning, then a middle range and then deep shampoo cleaning. Fortunately, my I clean my carpets regularly, but didn't have time to do them this time around, so I figured I would try things out. When I spoke with Danny, the owner, right before I bought the GroupOn coupon, I told him that I needed to make sure that their company followed through, showed up on time and didn't make excuses as I have seen so many other carpet company reviews from GroupOn transactions. He assured me that they show up on time, call ahead of arrival, so I decided to risk the $49. I was told they would call when the carpet cleaning guy was on his way. Check! Each time, they did that. The machine they use is heavy duty, stainless steel attachments. No rinky-dink machine. This machine is POWERFUL! They use your hot water (from your tub/shower) and then it heats up further in their machine (I believe). I didn't mind that because it more freely allowed them to move the machine around, rather than a super long hose from the driveway to a truck, which otherwise happens - and it doesn't always reach. The technicians were nice, friendly and efficient. Each time, it took about 1-1.5 hours to clean 3 rooms and a hallway. I prepped the rooms by moving chairs, tables and rugs out of the way for the best possible experience. For an additional nominal cost, I needed one extra room cleaned. I am glad it was a nominal fee so it made it easy to accept. As expected, the water was dirty when he finished and my carpets look GREAT!!!! I highly recommend them. I know a few people gave some bad reviews. I don't know what that's about, but I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

And he called at 8:45am and told me 9:15am. Since i had to take my daughter to school, i told him i'd be 10 minutes late -- and he couldn't have been nicer about it. He was patiently waiting for me when i got back to open up the condo. He spent a good 5 minutes doing a thorough inspection and measurement. I had a groupon and he discussed a few of the upgrade options. Normally, my spidey sense gets a bit sensitive to be upsold, but he was very knowledgeable and professional and we decided to go with the antibacterial treatment since we were switching over the unit to some new tenants. Omer from BGreen came this morning to clean the carpets, for starters he was on time. Super friendly dude and didn't waste any time getting started, which i totally appreciate because I had to leave for work. He got right into it, filled the machine with water from our bathtube and it took about 45 minutes to clean two medium sized rooms, very efficient and the final product was AMAZING! I bought a Groupon for this company, and didn't read the fine print (there's an extra charge for apartments and area rugs, and I'm in an apartment with big area rugs over hardwood floors). We went back and forth on the extra charges, and agreed on a reasonable amount above the cost of the Groupon. Yotam showed up in the first hour of the 2 hour service window, looked everything over, and got to work. He did an amazing job: the traffic area of my livingroom rug was badly soiled, and when he was done it looked like new. All the stains came out, the nap was lifted, and it looked great. Same for the bedroom and entryway carpet, although those weren't nearly as bad. Since the livingroom rug came out so well, I had him do my small couch as well, and that turned out great. I'd recommend this company, just make sure to explain what you have (if it's not wall-to-wall carpeting in a single family house) so that you're aware of the costs going in. read more
