I was battling some kind of cold/sinus thing that just would not go away and was not responding to over the counter meds. In desperation, I started internet searching for "urgent care clinics" and there were several in my area. Based on the operating hours, location and the online check-in feature, I chose Integra. I registered online and the site said I should receive a call in 20 minutes to schedule an appointment. It was actually about 40 minutes before I received a call, but with the crazy flu season I figured I could give them a break. Plus, I was just glad to be able to wait at home until I knew they were ready to see me. I arrived to see only 2 other patients waiting and, not long after I finished filling out my paperwork, I was called back for the visit with the nurse and to take my vitals. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she was so nice and pleasant. She patiently listened to all my symptoms and I didn't feel rushed at all or that I was listing too many ailments (because I wanted to make sure EVERYTHING was going to be treated!) Not long after she left the room, Dr. Gupta saw me and reconfirmed everything I had told the nurse and followed up with his own questions while he examined me and offered different options for medication and treatment. I felt I was in extremely professional and good hands with Dr. Gupta. Without even needing to ask, I left with enough prescriptions to cover ALL my symptoms and not just part of them. The fact that the clinic is right next door to Kroger is a plus for me because I can drop off my prescriptions and pick up a few things I need while I'm up and around. I wasn't asked for any payment at the clinic so I'm waiting (and bracing) for the final bill but only 24 hours later and one dose of the medicines already has me feeling better than the week I spent suffering with the over the counter meds. I wish I'd gone sooner! The urgent care clinic is the kind of place I hope I don't need to go back to but, if needed, I would not hesitate to return here. Highly recommend. read more

One is the worst urgent cares ever . I took my five year old son who came out of school crying and complaining about a throat ache . He was crying the whole time we were there as well . After waiting. For a long time he fell asleep the nurse came and tried to do a swap test and since we woke him up she wouldn't let her . The provider and nurse were both pregnant and refused to touch him . He was extremetly distressed and spit. They said he was a danger to them and we had to leave . I don't understand how a five year old who needs help is a danger . Maybe they should not be working in an urgent care if they are so afraid . I am extremely upset . Cooks urgent care took really good care of him . He did not have strep or anything . They could have treated a child better . read more

The young man who checked me out was nice and made sure to listen to all my symptoms. Price was also less expensive than cvs minute clinic. I'd definitely go back. I did in person visit for some problem which my GP and surgeon could not figure out after spending 1500$ for ct and ultrasound, single dose of medicine did the magic prescribed by Integra was all I needed. After spending few hundred dollars at usmd I visited Integra as I was in so much pain. They did correct diagnosis and gave me medicine which fixed my infection and pain without any pain killer I am fine at very second day. read more

I've been going to Integra for at least years. When I met Aaron Nigh he understood I get sinus infections. He suggested the steroids shot and the antibiotics that work for me. They are my go to when I'm sick because my primary physician is hard to get an appointment with. They are all great there! They are caring and truly listen to their patients. read more

Worst visit to the urgent care, they are so quick to collect money and diagnose you with stomach virus without running any test. Since there was no insurance the front office staff said if there was any additional cost they would go over fees prior to doing anything. Walked out and was charged 30 for a urine pregnancy test for my girlfriend. Doctor was informed that a pregnancy test had previously been taken, he said that it was just to make sure....actually it was just to add another charge. My visit to Integra was great. I had a burn on my leg that was beginning to get infected. I got there at 8am and was seen within 15 minutes. I don't have insurance so they let me know how much everything was going to cost prior to completing the service. The staff was very helpful and I finally got the relief I needed! The initial office visit is a great price compared to other urgent care clinics in the area. I'll definitely be using them again if I ever need to visit an urgent doc. read more

Unprofessional clinic personnel besides the one black nurse who was so courteous and patient with my husbands needs. Waited 2 hours and 15 minutes. Was told I would be next.....NOT... Dr. decided to take a dinner break. I got my $75 fee back and went to another place. I had walking pneumonia, was coughing, could hardly stand up and they kept saying, 10 min, 10 min, 10 min. I left and won't be back. A clear picture of timing would be nice. Go somewhere else. The physicians are nice people, but the owners are money-grubbing. They purposefully inflate charges to get more money from the insurance companies, and then charge you what the insurance company refuses to pay. An example? It costs $20 to for a nurse to take your pulse by holding your palm. They even sent a bogus charge to collections almost a year after I went in. I never want to deal with anyone in this office ever again. There was actually a dead cockroach at the front-desk. That was the icing on the cake. read more

I'm a little scared by all the bad reviews of this place. When I went it, they were really clean and nice. I had a really nice conversation with the receptionist. It was quick, doctor saw me right away. (This is all after the horrendous experience at Baylor ER Irving I had the night before so maybe everything here just compared a lot better) Anywho, I was in alot of pain and was grateful they saw me right away and gave me meds. It was an easy walk-in and didn't have to wait longer than 15 min. Got all the flu medicine, z pack, and vaccination I needed to get back on my toes. Quick, fast, and straight to the point service. It's always upsetting when you can hear the "doctor" complain about having to deal with patients and their medical issues right before he walks in to see you. I've been to this urgent care a few times, and while not stellar by any means, it served its purpose. There usually isn't much of a wait, especially if you do the online check in. I didn't mind having this place as my go-to urgent care. That is, until yesterday. I went in for an issue that seemed a little strange, but wasn't something completely unheard of. I was helped by the front desk clerk almost immediately. In less than 5 mins, I was called to the back, had my vitals taken, and was in the room. Solid start! I began to explain my issue to the nurse. It was as though she couldn't comprehend anything I was trying to say even though it wasn't complicated at all. (think: "I feel a bump on my leg" and she had no idea what that meant. Its a bump! A bump that I feel. A bump that showed up a few days ago. Bump. What do you not get?) I tried explaining it multiple ways & her eyes rolled in an "ok. whatever" fashion. It bothered me, but she was just the admitting nurse. She wasn't terribly significant to my experience or my health. I hear her approach the doctor (?) to explain my issue. I'm not sure what his actual status is. I believe his name is Aron. I've seen him each time I've been to this urgent care, so I'm familiar with him. I was listening to her because I thought for sure she would mock me or something. She didn't. BUT then I hear Aron's voice chime in. I'm going to paraphrase here, but it was something along the lines of "Its been weird stuff all day. All day! I'm tired of it. Can't I get a break??". Oh. Ok. I'm sorry my medical issue doesn't jive with the kind of day you were hoping to have. I was immediately deflated. I wanted to run out, but in 30 seconds he was in the room with me. He leaned against the counter & brashly asked "what's going on?" I explained while trying not to cry. He didn't care. He was bothered that he had to deal with it. He made that clear before he walked in the room. I wanted to walk out, but more so I wanted a "professional" to assess my situation. The visit with him lasted maybe 2 minutes. He sent some prescriptions to my pharmacy & I was out the door. I got into my car and broke down crying. Thank you, Aron, for making me feel embarrassed and as though I was a bother. Surely every doctor and nurse and person has their days when they've just had enough. When you work with people who come to you because they don't feel well & are seeking help, maybe you should keep quite. If you don't want to deal with "weird" stuff, find a new profession. read more

The staff was welcoming and friendly, Amber did a great job and quick diagnosis, the MA ( little blonde, didn't get her name ) gave me a painless injection, and I was feeling better before I even left the office. I was nervous about not getting the treatment I needed but was pleasantly surprised with a short wait time, polite staff, and Dr. Stava was great and listened to me. 5 stars seems extremely high for an urgent care clinic but it is what this clinic deserves. I work 8-5, M-F so finding time to make it to my usual doctor is difficult considering they aren't open on the weekends. I had to resort to finding an urgent care clinic on Saturday morning and called numerous places before calling Las Colinas Urgent Care. Everyone else I called was not friendly and not eager to help but when I got a hold of Las Colinas Urgent Care, the receptionist (I believe her name was Sarah) was extrememly nice and assured me that the doctor on duty that morning would be able to take care of what I needed so I headed over to their location. I hardly had to wait which was shocking to me. The mix of it being an urgent care clinic and a Saturday morning had me thinking I'd be waiting at least an hour, but probably even longer than that. That wasn't the case thankfully! During the appointment they were attentive and seemed to really want to help me get to feeling better which I obviously appreciated. The doctor and the nurse were both friendly and funny and made the whole appointment very comfortable (I'm really not a big fan of doctor appointments, so that aspect was important to me). It was just overall a really stress-free experience and I'm so happy to have found a doctor's office so close to where I live that I can rely on. read more

I went in to the Clinic December 20,2013 about 9:00 am. I probably waited about 20 minutes. A normal wait time to me. The Dr. was very friendly and we discussed my symptoms. Conclusion was a penicillin shot and prescription for more antibodics and cough syrup to help me rest from all the coughing. They are close to home and as sick as I was, I didn't feel like driving into busy Dallas traffic where my usual Dr.'s office is. With my co-pay I couldn't ask for anything more. If ever I have another need, I will definitely go back. They should be rated higher. Guess you can't please everyone. read more

I did not use insurance and paid out of pocket so I really appreciate that they didn't demand my ssn - which is private and unnecessary in such a situation. The online check in did not work so I called in and repeated my information, got a 1PM appointment. I got there thirty minutes before and had to fill in forms with the same information. My appointment was delayed by half an hour and after the doctor saw me I waited another 45 minutes for a test to be done. I got a prescription instead. The Dr was courteous and the the nurse who took my vitals was wonderful, the person at the front did not even say hi, but started with "New or returning patient?", then offered signup stickers. They don't seem to respect time and seem disorganized. Perhaps they were operating with less staff seeing that I went during holiday season. Dr. Gupta is the most competent and caring doctor around. The wait is no more than usual for any doctor office (around half an hour); this is quite a bit faster than other urgent care clinics. The price for cash patients is amazing! (You will not find another facility for this low cost... I've been around!) As I stated, Dr. Gupta is extremely knowledgeable and cares about each patient. I went in thinking I had the flu, and really just wanted a prescription for Tamiflu. However, realizing I was a cash patient, he explained that going ahead with the test at $25 to see if I even had the flu, was a better option than just going to get this prescription filled for $150+. Turns out he was right; I only had bronchitis. He gave me some meds that would help, and I was on my way within an hour of walking in. The entire staff is courteous and friendly. I've been to this location several times, and I've never been dissatisfied with the level of care I received, nor the wait time. I recommend this clinic freely to others, and will continue to do so. I have waited longer in offices where I had an appointment. Dr Gupta correctly diagnosed and prescribed the correct medications for my illness. The worst place ever.. How can anyone be rude at a 11 month old kid??? The Doctor who we saw was just ridiculous, Lets forget his Rude behavior for a minute. He doesn't know what he is doing. My baby got fever and we were worried if thats just a normal fever or any infection or virus or something. He checked the baby (of course the rudest possible way) and said everything is fine. But the baby was still struggling and he I took the baby to another hospital and they confirmed that the baby has got ear infection. Thank God I have decided to see another hospital and got the baby cured. But I cant forget the struggle my baby has gone through because of his mistake. Can anyone believe the Baby cry for a continuous 48 hours? hmmm... All because of that careless Doctor.. I have got few questions for Integra 1. How can anyone be so rude at a 11 month old kid? 2. Why did your doctor fail to diagnose the issue? 3. Is he really a doctor? 4. How can anyone run an Urgent care with this standards? Finally I need some help to file a case against this Urgent care. Avoid this place at all costs... that's all you need to know. If you want to know more specific reasons as to why, read below: I'm an honest person and give honest reviews and would not give this one if I didn't feel strongly about my experiences here. This is my third visit within the year (and last) to Las Colinas Urgent Care. I'm pretty sure that the only reason they stay in business is because of their convenient location off of MacArthur next to Kroger. That's the only thing that makes sense because if you read reviews about this place anywhere, especially Google Reviews, you'll find that they have consistently unhappy patients accompanied by the occasional office worker that gives a short and positive review to skew ratings. Today, I went in for a foot injury. My symptoms are: Severe ankle pain, foot pain, inability to sleep because of discomfort, and complete inability to put any pressure on the foot to walk. I came into the office using crutches and to make matters worse, the door needed fixed. It jams against the floor and the receptionist and nurse watched me struggle to open it while holding onto my crutches. Great first impression. Before this, I checked in online to save time, but still had to wait about 20 minutes to be summoned by the nurse. As I went into the patient area, the nurse said nothing to me and seemed annoyed that she had to hold the door for me. She was cold, inconsiderate, and rather rude. This seems to be an ongoing theme regarding the staff at this place. The nurse asked me a couple of general questions about my injury and seemed rather uninterested in my responses. She took my blood pressure and then said that the doctor would be in shortly. About 10 minutes passed as a male doctor with a rather unprofessional appearance entered. He has an odd personality to say the least as he, like the supporting staff, is rather inconsiderate regarding his demeanor towards patients. I explained all of my symptoms and he did an "examination" where he asked me if my foot "hurt" when he bended it. I said yes and we were both in agreement that I was in a lot of pain and could not walk on this possibly broken, fractured, and/or sprained foot/ankle. After the exam, the doctor informed me that their x-ray machine "just broke this morning" and that he wanted me to go to the hospital down the road for an x-ray. Disappointed, I hesitantly agreed and gave their facility the benefit of the doubt since machines can break at times. However, if I would have known this ahead of time, I would not have gone through with the appointment there and I think the doctor fully knew this... waiting until the end of the exam to tell me the bad news. I proceeded to hobble out of their office, deal with the jammed front door, and drive to the medical center. There, I had to fill out all new paper work in order to have my xray done. An hour later, the xrays were completed and the center informed me that they would immediately send them to the urgent care doctor. I WAITED 4 HOURS and called Las Colinas Urgent care to see what was going on. In this time, I did not take any OTC meds thinking that the doctor would at least be prescribing some sort of anti-inflammatory. I was transferred again to the rude nurse as she said that "someone else's x-rays came in, but not yours.. we'll call you whenever we get them." I kindly informed the nurse that I had given them 4 hours to review the x-rays and that I was concerned that I would not get a diagnosis by days end. She then realized that maybe she should call the medical center to see if there was a problem. My hunch is that Las Colinas Urgent Care received the xrays and just did not look at them yet. This is mainly because I was called back by the nurse, not doctor, within 5 minutes... my diagnosis: No break or fracture. Stop using crutches, and use ibuprofen if needed. Also ice and elevate. So, I wasted a whole day, still in pain after the extended field trip I had to make for xrays, to be told to basically take it easy. I asked the nurse why I should stop using crutches if I could not walk on the injured foot without screaming. She seemed perplexed and surprised as to why I would ask such an obvious question. She went back to the doctor and then relayed that I once again did not need crutches because they are reserved for breaks. So, I guess an extremely painful sprain should still be walked upon? This makes no sense to me. Simply put, I will not be returning to this facility. I would describe it as the "Wal-Mart" of medical treatment in the area.. very convenient, but extremely disappointing due to lack of quality and issues created by dealing with people who are under-qualified when it comes to providing average service. read more

I have been to this clinic twice. I will never go again. The first visit was on a rare ice day in the Metroplex and regardless of the weather, I had a great experience at the clinic. But the doctor that saw me that day does not usually work there - he was truly excellent - a military doctor with patience and attention to detail. Now I know that first experience must have been a fluke. The next time I went was on a Sunday morning (1/26/14) around 8:30am. The night before I had sliced my fingers on a mandolin while preparing dinner. I had both fingers wrapped but wanted to make sure there was no infection and see if anything else needed to be done to properly care for the wounds. I got in fairly quickly and the doctor came in just as I was removing the bandages from my fingers. She showed practically NO empathy for the amount of pain I was in while she was brushing my open wounds with cotton swabs and hydrogen peroxide. I had one finger that was cut deeper but it wasn't bleeding initially. Then she starts pinching my finger and of course the blood starts to flow and won't stop. Then without any explanation of what she was about to do, she began cauterizing my fingertip with silver nitrate. It took probably 8-12 sticks to get the bleeding to stop. Honestly I lost count after 5 or 6 because the pain was horrendous. They did nothing to numb my finger before they started cauterizing it and they had no intention of giving me anything for the pain afterwards. I held myself together during the procedure but began crying once the bleeding stopped and had to actually ask the doctor for a tissue because she was just staring at me. I very rarely EVER cry in front of a doctor - I have a high tolerance for pain. But this was too much. I told the nurse (with the doctor right there) how much pain I was in and they acted like I was commenting on the weather. They did not explain how to care for the fingers afterwards except to put new bandages on every day. No cleaning instructions, no pain instructions, no human kindness at all. I left the clinic in extreme pain with only a prescription for antibiotics. About 30 minutes later (9:30am) I called the clinic to request that they call in a pain prescription and they said I would have to come back in for that. I explained that that would not be an option because I was just there and they know how much pain I was in. The receptionist impatiently took my information and said a nurse would call me back. After an hour waiting in awful pain, I called back for status (10:30am). The receptionist said the doctor had not had a chance to look at the note. Seriously? It takes 2 minutes to do that. Finally at 3:30 pm I got a call saying they were calling in the prescription but that I would have to wait another hour before it would be ready. So that's roughly 7 hours after the procedure. If I had known how horrible the experience was going to be I would have gladly waited an extra day, infection or not, and waited to see my regular doctor on Monday. At least I can count on them for compassion, thoroughness, attention to detail, and all the things a patient should expect from a medical doctor and their staff. Some people are called to medicine and the care of people. And some people are just merely smart enough to do the job. read more
