I found this business on groupon and instead of doing the consult and the massage, I just opted for the massage. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I think the first floor is their chiro office because I was directed to the lower level, where the massage therapist was already waiting for me. Vanessa gave me a few forms to fill out and we were off. The deal was for a Swedish massage but I told the therapist I like quite a bit of pressure and she did Deep tissue for me with no issue. Some places actually upcharge for this. The room was nice and clean and there is a spacious bathroom nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage, even though it was quite painful at times. There was not an area she didn't work and the sense of satisfaction I felt was akin to an aggressive and grueling workout. You know when you done your body some good. I've been teased with getting complimentary 15 mins massage at work. Therefore, I must get a full body massage. Groupon to the rescue! After looking thoroughly, I decided to go to one close to work. For some reason, I had issues with my browser setting up an appointment, but the receptionist was very helpful and sent me the questions and filled it out for me. You also have reserve with a credit card. I find this to be true on a lot of services lately because of unfaithful people. I understand why. I get it. They won't charge you unless you do a no show. The day prior to your appointment, you will get a text to confirm your appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early. It is not hard to find at all. Just follow the directions on the e-mail to go downstairs to the massage room. The Groupon is for 60 mins of massage plus a consultation. I didn't do the consultation. It is still a great price overall. I filled out a questionnaire in case of any problem areas on my body. It's mainly my back cause of long hours sitting down during busy season. One of the question is if you want silence, talking initiated by masseuse, or you initiating convo. I found that interesting. I opted for silence. I wanna relax. Undress to your comfort level and lay on the bed. Stefanie was my masseuse. She's a tiny person but has strong massages. I loved it. What I enjoyed is learning about the fascia and the areas where I'm tighter at. She educated me how to loosen it up. Swedish massage plus deep tissue massage in one. Loved it. The great pain! Hurt my lower back from hiking so I've been coming to IHS for adjustments and it's been great. No more lower back pain and I feel amazing. There are 3 chiropractors and 2 front desk staff members all whom are very sweet, amiable, and knowledgeable. I did my consultation with Dr. Hamilton and he did a great job of explaining things in very easy relatable terms and set expectations. I love the location because it's close to my work so I can drop by during lunch, there's plenty of parking, and the facility is very clean and welcoming. It's a little hard to Integral if you have never been there. Follow the directions on the website, they are pretty good. Basically, once on Northside, turn in like you are going to Post Riverside follow the road straight. It is in the back, on the right, and there is a parking lot right past it. I won a drawing to get a free massage and consultation. I didn't have lunch plans so "Why not?" So far so good. Once you find the place (see above) it is pretty nice and clean on the inside. The one thing that caught my attention right away was the smell. It was relaxing but not that overpowering, I am trying to be Zen smell. I meant to ask what it was but I forgot. Odd maybe, but I am sure it matters to someone. I really liked the space and the lay out. The only thing that was kind of weird for me is that they do adjustments in an open space just past the waiting room. It is not too bad but just a little weird at first I didn't really pay attention to the people getting adjusted so I imagine others don't really pay attention either. My consultation was in the back and I felt that it was thorough and not rushed. I hate being rushed. I peeked around the corners and saw that they have a pretty nice set up. I did my consultation with Dr. Howard Krisel. He was pretty nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. I do like that they integrate nutrition, lifestyle changes and other factors into the practice. I haven't had a "real" visit yet, but like I said so far so good. I think it will be a good experience. Integral Health Studio (IHS) to the rescue! Approximately a year ago I thought I pulled my hamstring. The injury lingered for around 10 months. Over the course of that time period I visited several doctors and a sports therapist. I was diagnosed with hamstring tendinitis / hamstring tendinopathy. The injury was frustrating as I'm a pretty active person and I couldn't run for an extended period of time. I went to IHS for a massage and they talked me into signing up for an affordable chiropractic exam. I have never been to a chiropractor, so of course I was reluctant, but decided to give it a go. I was desperate at this point too. To make a long story short, one exam, one x-ray, and one adjustment later, my injury magically went away in 36 hours. The x-ray found that my hips were off and that it was causing a strain on my hamstring. I was adjusted and felt great the next day! Over the course of the last 8 or so weeks the adjustments have been great, painless, and my hip no longer pops out of place causing a strain on my hamstring. IHS has been a great experience and worth every penny. Great service and great people equals a happy customer! I recommend IHS of course and I'm now a believer in chiropractic services! read more

I purchased a Groupon for a 90 minutes Swedish massage. I made an appointment for last Monday at 2. When I arrived I walked downstairs to the massage therapy waiting room. I waited for about 10 minutes until the lady from the front desk upstairs came and told me that my masseuse wasn't aware she had an appointment. Apparently there was a confusion and whoever scheduled my appointment didn't let the masseuse know. I was a bit frustrated with having to reschedule my appointment. Today I had my appointment with Vanessa and she was wonderful. This was actually the first massage I've ever had and she did an amazing job. Although the scheduling was unorganized I would go back again just for her. She even massaged my head, arms, and legs. It was all very relaxing. read more

The GPS took me one business pass the turn into the complex of town houses with businesses on the bottom. They were in the process of moving but apologized for the inconvenience. If I skip the moving experience which would rate a 1 star, the massage was definitely worth it. I had 1.5 hour deep tissue massage it was perfect. They spent the first part massaging my back where they spend quite of bit of time. The 1.5 hour massage also included the feet and hands which I really loved. I can't wait to go back. Decided to get a free evaluation here after my hip had been bothering me for a while. After 10 visits I could really notice a difference in how I was feeling and a re-evaluation confirmed my results. I love going to Integral Health Studio! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I started going to IHS about 2 months ago for hip, neck and low back pain (after a long absence from chiropractic, insurance started offering care again) after my back started hurting badly after being in a car for a week straight for work. On the first visit, they talked to me for quite some time about the spine and everything it influences before taking x-rays and doing an evaluation to see range of motion and where there was pain. It was pretty easy and I felt very knowledgeable after the review. The next appointment, we started with adjustments. and I started to feel a little better after the first week. This is not an immediate fix, and the doctors were very clear in their explanations and how to progress through the treatment plan. It's nice they offer lunch time hours, as I work just down the road. I also appreciate the fact they never try to heavily push any products on you, just offer suggestions. I barely notice my lower back hurting anymore. My hips were not even, and I had long thought that the pain I had while running was normal. Nope, not normal, and the pain has gotten much less while running. It's not completely gone yet, but we are working on it. My neck was nearly straight (it should have a curve, they explained very nicely after seeing my xray, ha) and I had pain every day. My neck has gotten so much less stiff. I called 4 times, left 3 messages over the span of 2 weeks and was completely ignored. I know that they moved and that they sold over 1,000 vouchers (congrats, by the way), but apparently they forgot that they actually have to provide the service. I've since gotten a refund from Groupon and I can say without hesitation that I will never seek out their services, nor will anyone I know. I've been treated by chiropractors since I had an ATV accident at the age of 15. Over the years, I've experienced both the good and bad. Integral Health Studio is one of the best practices out there! After just 3 adjustments, my chronic mid back pain was gone. The doctors take their time and don't rush you out of the door when you go in for an appointment. Plus, they have traction tables that you lay on at the start of each appointment. Those roller massage tables ROCK! Great way to loosen you up and get you relaxed before your adjustment. This was the first time I've ever gone to a chiropractor, and while I had heard from people their experiences at other locations, I wasn't entirely certain what to anticipate for my first visit. The people at Integral Health Studio on my first visit, and on every visit since, have never been anything more than warm and friendly to me. On my second visit everyone had already remembered my name, and every step of the way I was made aware ahead of time of what my recommended course of treatment was, how much it was going to cost, and what exactly my treatment entailed. And while receiving treatment, Dr. Hamilton keeps you constantly informed of not just what he is doing, but also the "why". When I told my wife about my experiences, she decided to go in for a visit herself - and now she's a regular patient as well. My girlfriend filled out a required form beforehand answering the question about conversation checking that she preferred little or no conversation. The woman virtually never stopped talking! Why even ask? She also had to be asked 3 times to stop being so brutal with her massage. When I tried to schedule my appointment, I found that they are only willing to talk to me when it's convenient for them. That's almost never convenient with my schedule. Upon trying to find any other way to schedule an appointment by calling another time, visiting, or anything else, I find that the woman who handles the appointments never wants to take incoming customer calls. I had a really bad experience with IHS. Before my rant, I will say that the office was clean and the people were nice and even accommodated a same day appointment. Still, I left very disappointed - and any new potential customers should beware of these sales tactics that I failed to predict: I found them online (and on Groupon) and saw that they offered a free initial consultation. I called to ask if this included some sort of therapy (i.e. massage chair) or an adjustment, or if there was an additional cost for that - I explained that I was having excruciating neck pain and was looking for relief. The woman said I would get some relief and the doctor would be able to do an adjustment. I went in - Dr. explained to me for 1 hour what chiropractic is, how the spine works, etc. etc. (the entire time, I'm in really bad pain, and he's not getting the hint). I explain to him that I'm expecting to get some relief from this pain ASAP and that's why I'm here. Finally, 50 minutes in, after taking some x-rays, he talks to me about putting together a plan and discussing payment - he explains that I need a minimum of 12 sessions at $60 a pop to correct my issue. A total of $720, that he suggests I pay now bc he can throw in a 20% discount. I told him I want to utilize the trial and see if the treatment/adjustment he does today actually works before I commit to $720 and 12 sessions. He explains that he cannot treat me at all unless I purchase the package but that he can do one adjustment for me today for $60. He can also offer me the 30min massage (that the website says is included) but there's no availability for 2-3 weeks. I was FURIOUS. I actually understand that they couldn't/didn't want to provide a free service - had they told me this from the get-go there would be no problem. But to mislead me after I explicitly asked more than once what was included and to waste my time for over an hour when it's very clear that I'm in a lot of pain - that's inexcusable to me. Taking advantage of someone desperate and in pain is SUCH a scumbag move. read more

The staff is amazing here! Extremely friendly, personable and knowledgeable. When I started going, I had major headaches several times a week. I'll be honest, I wasn't sold on needing chiropractic care, but figured I'd give it a shot since my headaches were so frequent. Each experience was very pleasant and my headaches are almost nonexistent now. Both doctors are very helpful, patient, and kind. A big plus for me is that I was almost always in and out very quickly, very little wait time (if any). When I got my massage, it was so relaxing! The masseuse was very nice and did a fantastic job. Although clearly trying to promote their massage business, Groupin treated like the red headed step child. Finally on appointment day, I went to wrong location-I called three times but only got a message. THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. WHAT BUSINESS DOES THIS? Finally I wished up and realized they used a separate line for Groupons, so I called the main line. It took 13 MINUTES to even get someone on the line. Once finally answered, they had in the computer that I missed my appointment so I COULD NOT REBOOK. Drs. Krisel and Wetzel are fantastic and very professional! I've been a client since 2015 after having moved to ATL from another state. I was nervous finding another practice that could treat my major scoliosis and chronic back pain, but my mind (and body) were put at ease with Integral Health Studio! I am not a fan of manual manipulations (cracking) of my spine, so the Drs. are mindful to never use this technique to adjust me. I was even driving all the way from Decatur before moving closer (not the reason for my move, but a very fortunate happenstance for me!). The only slightly negative feedback I have is that it would be nice if they recommended a yearly check-in to see how things are progressing rather than to keep showing up for adjustments on a regular basis. But they do provide some 1-on-1 from time to time to show you how to stretch or use equipment to relieve tension. I really hate to review somewhere that I haven't even seen but this goes without saying because it is so hard to get in the door! DO NOT BUY A GROUPON! The scheduling is when they fix which is almost never(no weekends, not advertised) I could not get in and so I choose to gift this groupon which was another heartache as my friend was in the middle of a terrible storm and on the way, called to check and was told they would reschedule for next week....then they proceed to charge my credit card a cancellation fee. He was unaware and I wrote an email to try to find out what would happen while he was trying to get there and was answered after the appointment time. They take your credit card up front and charge a 1 cent charge on that day whether you've had service or not. The emails back and forth to just try to get set up are maddening. If you want a great massage, reflexology and help for your pain...go to Out of the Grey Wellness (they have a groupon too). Wonderful, caring people! I purchased a Groupon for a Swedish massage. Making an appointment was not easy, as I had to call a few times to make the appointment because I couldn't get in contact (that should have been my first clue to stay away). But after a few days of trying I reached someone and scheduled the appointment. When I arrived the staff greeted me in a friendly manner. They gave me paperwork to sign as well. I went into the back for consultation and then an appointment for a massage. I was told by the consultant that for an additional 20.00 dollars they would take my x rays and determine where the pain was coming from. I was happy to find out because I had back pain after having an epidural. Everything seemed nice and smooth. I got an x ray and then had a massage. I was told I would receive my x ray results that day. I received no call and called the next day. I spoke to someone who said that the consultant would call me back with my results in a hour. No call the whole day. Or over the weekend. I called the following Monday and was promised that the consultant would call me back after she finished with a client. I received no call back and was frustrated I was getting the run around. And then I called the next day and the staff would not answer my call (they have caller ID). I had to call from another line so they would answer and I inquired about my results. I was given some more runaround stories. After that I was very upsetand asked for a refund. I was then given a runaround story as well until I had to keep calling them eeveryday to refund me the money. It took 3 weeks for me to receive my refund for the results I never received and they never even attempted to give me my results. Needless to say that you might want to stay away from the place for additional services. My masseuse did give me a great massage, but it was not worth the headache of dealing with such an incompetent staff team. read more

I purchased a 60 minute massage on Groupon (another shady company). Integral did not return my calls for over 3 weeks. They have a separate number only for Groupon customers. Their real customers use their real telephone number. So, they know when you call that you are a Groupon (second class) customer. Very shady. They finally made an appointment. Due to illness I missed that appointment and my credit card was charged $30. They rescheduled my appointment for the following week. The day before my scheduled appointment, THEY cancelled and stated they would not honor my Groupon. Yet, they still unlawfully kept my $30, even though THEY refused to honor my Groupon. Then, they texted me asking me to confirm that I was coming, even though THEY cancelled. Again, very shady. So, I paid for a massage that I never received and paid a $30 fee on top of it. Plain and simple. These are unlawful business practices that not only the Better Business Bureau is looking into, but the Attorney General of Georgia, as well. Hopefully, when they investigate him, they will find anything else that they are involved in. Do not do business with them. Do not give your credit card number to them. It is unlawful. read more

SO very glad that the property management company at my job had Integral Health Studio's massage therapist come out for free employee massages back in 3/2014. Who in their right mind can turn that down?! What a GREAT way to reach out to your community as well. I had been dealing with a lot of grinding lower back pain and stiffness for the last couple of years, but it had gotten progressively worse since the beginning of 2014.We chatted after the massage, and I was stoked to find out they could see me in their office that very day. Their office is super easy to find and a beautiful location as well. The adjustment area is open to the waiting area, so it is a very breezy, calm atmosphere. I was 29 when I started going to the Integral Health Studio, and I had come to accept that the pain and discomfort was just normal because I was getting OLD. They advised me that it wasn't normal, and that there were remedies. It is true that it isn't normal to have to deal with the pain on a daily basis. I know because I am not hurting anymore. I can move freely again and my range of motion has even improved. Getting adjusted has been the key to my improvements. My only regret is that I waited so long to find a chiropractor who could make a real difference in my life. It is truly a treat to go for my appointments! read more
