It practices Chinese style so it can feel a little rough - but I feel like that is expected. It's not a pressure I would like for my back or neck but it was fine for my feet. There are individual half beds to lay on and rooms with curtains for full massages. It started with soaking my feet in warm water then drying them off. I had a pillow behind by back and under my head with a small towel over my eyes. The massage consisted of deep strokes and thumb rubbing into each foot. My legs were also massaged. They used an oil that was wiped off with a warm towel at the end of the massage. The masseuse also stretched and rubbed my hips too. Overall, they did a nice job.
