Also, in my experience they largely operate solely on a show-up, first come, first serve system. Outside of one (1) or two (2) particular services, they don't do appointments or booking ahead of time.

I was stranded on the side of the road and thought to myself the only option I had was to drive 5mph down the road to try to make it to Hyundai so it wouldn't drag on the road. As I was making my way back to Gloster Street, I happened to notice Byrd's Body Shop sign and thought maybe they could at least tape it up to where I could make it to Hyundai. So I pulled into the lot and was greeted with the warmest welcome! They did more than just try to help. They fixed me up with brand new screws and clips that had come loose from the last time my oil was changed when the mechanic hadn't tightened it enough. I did worry for a second because I noticed the "cash & checks only" sign, but they assured me it was no problem and sent me on my way. I will use them from now on!
