Went in for a warranty covered issue and house of Honda told me they would not honor my warranty because they did not want the hassle of dealing with my insurance company. mind you I used this same extended warranty with other Honda dealerships with no issues. Basically they told me they would fix my car and I would have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursement from my insurance company. Not to mention when I initially arrived it took over 5 min before anyone came to check me in. And when the guy did come he did not greet me and stood there with a blank look on his face. I gonna say it was cause I was a person of color. Because as I waited for my vehicle I observed how he they greeted the other customers that looked like them. And the interactions were totally different. They promptly walked over as soon as they pulled in and greeted them with a smile. I will no longer be doing business with them. I kept my paperwork). secondly, I was charged $100 more than I should've been because I knew they covered the pads and calipers for life. when I told the woman at the register, she called the technician and he apologized and took off the $100 from my bill. my point is this: the tech shouldve known about my previous brake jobs and my loyalty to Mac's. but most importantl, if I had not spoken up, Mac's would've ripped me off for $100 and if I had done all 4 sets of brakes it would've been closer to $250!! and I know this, because the woman at the counter was about to ring up my bill and didn't check my past brake jobs, either... I'm not too happy with Mac's. they are usually quite reliable...

At 2:46 the price was raised by $5k due to "market demand and nonavailability". (Please see screen shots below) I'm pretty sure the owner is getting a cut from the MSRP and the selling of a "unit" but to add $5k to price within 4 hours because you want more...is unethical. That owner will get theirs. I understand many other dealerships practice this same dirty move to screw people and make an extra buck, but to quote it one way and change it four hours later is unprofessional. Always be wary of your business dealings.
