I had been going to Integrity Auto off and on over the past 7 years or so. They've recently changed locations and seem to have some new staff on board. Two months ago, I took my Acura Legend in as it was having RPM "bouncing" issues. Turned out I needed a new radiator, lower hose, etc as it was shot. I was then driving as usual a few weeks ago and had noticed the engine to be running a bit rougher than usual. The check engine light then came on, so of course I took it in. Why did I take it in? I was hoping to find out why the engine was running a bit rough and to diagnose the "Check Engine" light issue. Brian helped me out before and did again. Brian calls me after they're able to look at the engine. He proceeds to go through a short list of items that include a Power Steering leak, Rack/Pinion issue, a major tune-up and a flushing of my transmission and brake fluids. He mentioned those services totaled $2,121 and that I could obtain financing if necessary. He then proceeded to tell me that they were not able to isolate why the engine was running rough and that they'd need to do another hour's worth of deeper inspection. He said this would be an additional $100 or so of inspection time. They were not able to diagnose the check engine light because it had turned off and would not come back on. I sortof chuckled to myself and told Brian to go ahead and proceed with digging deeper. I then hung up the phone and realized a few things. I thought to myself, "I wanted to find out why the engine was running rough." When Brian had called back and went through that list I was shocked. I was used to getting asked good questions by Mike. I.e. What do you use this car for? What type of driving? How often? Have you noticed this before? When? etc. I couldn't believe I was being told I needed $2,100+ of work done to my car without my original reason for bringing it in ever being addressed, aside from "It'll be another $100 to figure out what you brought it in for." Even though Brian didn't say it like that, that is for certain what he was implying whether or not he knew. And then to add to it by mentioning financing ... really? Is he on commission? C'mon. I realized that when Brian would call again to let me know what they found after digging deeper ... I felt I wouldn't be able to trust what he said. So I called them back and told them to cancel the "deeper" inspection and that I'd be coming to pick up the car that day. Again ... no questions were asked ... Brian's reply was, "Ok, no problem." (If I owned a business and a customer called back to cancel ... I'd ask why and how I could help.) Keep in mind what I am not saying. I'm not saying my car didn't need the suggested work. It's an old car with quite a few miles. It's been around the block. What I am saying is what ever happened to building trust and rapport with your clients? If somebody goes to the doctor's office with pain in their arm and they proceed to inspect every part of your body and then let you know you're going to need x, y, and z done but we're not sure about the pain in your arm ... would you be surprised? I imagine you would be wondering, "What a minute ... I still want to know why my arm hurts." You might then few the doctor's next recommendations as suspect. All of this being said, I wish no ill will toward Integrity Auto. I'm sharing the fact that Brian proceeded to botch any trust and rapport that I previously held and as such will not be returning there to service my cars. I sincerely hope that Brian gets better at his job because I cannot imagine that other folks haven't felt this way toward him. read more

I used to listen to Car Talk on public radio, and from it i learned that women are 90% more likely to get overcharged for needless repairs when taking their cars for repair. Whatever the reason why that is true, i have since only take my car to places that were recommended by my male friends--especially those that were more mechanically inclined. But after moving to Oregon and not having any male friends near by who know the best shops, i had to find an honest mechanic shop on my own. After reading many, many reviews on various area shops, i chose to bring my vehicle to Integrity Auto Repair...and i couldn't be more relieved and pleased! A full, detailed report for each and every item of repair my car needed was printed out, and explained in person, in an easy to understand way (so that even a non-mechanically inclined person like me could understand what work needed to be done right away, and what stiff could wait a few months). Once the work was started, the mechanics even did a few extra things free of charge! I'd explained my financial situation, so they were willing to work with me, to get the most bang for my limited bucks. I was also given a very detailed report about work that will need to be done in the future, before it can become a problem. All the costs were laid out, too, so i would know exactly what to expect. Best of all, the kind and attentive front office staff found the best way to save me even more money on repairs, now and in the future. Also, the special deals and discounts that are available are a real bonus. More than anything, i think it is the professional -but warm and friendly- mechanics and staff, who were honestly willing to go the distance to provide excellent customer service --from the clean, inviting and comfortable front office with a family friendly play area for children, to the fresh coffee and the use of a loaner car for those who have to leave their own cars for an extended repair time... that really made all the difference. All this, AND the highest quality work that was performed on my car... make this the MOST trustworthy, competent and comprehensive auto repair shop i have EVER known. I feel i can really trust that you have MY needs and best interests at heart, when it comes to talking care of my vehicle. I can't even begin to tell you how much i appreciate the sense of relief i have in finding an auto repair shop i can trust, to do the work i need, and treat me like a valued customer, without taking me to the bank for unnecessary work. To say I was angered when my daughter was ripped off by this shop would be an understatement, The car was taken there for exhaust work as She was getting ready to drive home, quite a distance away. That evening after beginning Her trip the exhaust FELL OFF and it was late in the evening,and obviously unable to talk to or return to the shop as She was on the road. A guy where She had stopped "rigged" Her exhaust the best he could and She finished the trip with an extremely loud exhaust that fortunately did not leak enough Carbon Monoxide to render her unconscious. This is a serious concern in ANY vehicle with an exhaust leak, Police officers have been killed by exhaust leaks in the recent news and it actually happens more often then people realize. As an Aircraft Mechanic I was reminded of Shade Tree Mechanics when I surveyed the welding done on the exhaust, the fact they failed to put the bolts in on the factory exhaust ( If they had the exhaust would not have fallen when their "other" clamps failed) The photo shows the exhaust after I removed all of the wire the kid used to jury rig it in a parking lot. When I spoke w/Integrity I was told "that was nearly a year ago" and again I explained this happened the "night She left" a day after they fixed it and where She was working (Tennessee) She did not need or use her car. Then He told me She had to call them, not really too concerned, I asked what good would it do to call from Tennessee? I asked Him if he had kids, He said he did, so I asked him how he'd feel if a shop charged His daughter $60 to install a battery She had just paid $137 for? (This was at best a 10-15 minute job, so if we use 15 minutes that works out to a $240.00 an hour shop rate!!) He informed me He ran a "professional repair shop" and suggested I contact his warranty company while admitting they probably wouldn't do anything since "it was out of warranty". Just about anybody that sells batteries nowadays install them for FREE! So that was my experience with "Integrity". She was charged $497.51 to repair the exhaust and install a battery!! She was unable to pay for the repair at the time.............you can probably figure out who paid for it AND then had to properly repair it when She got home. I recently drove my car across the country from New York during my move to Eugene. I knew that there was some wear as a result of that 3,000+ mile drive, minimally that I needed to replace my serpentine belt and I was hearing rattling noise from my exhaust system. I wasn't entirely sure what else needed to be done, so Integrity performed a 60-point Pre-Trip inspection, which was included in their Car Care Club value package - what a deal! They offered me a ride to work so I could leave my car, and the inspection was completed in a couple of hours. They texted a link to the comprehensive vehicle inspection report that was very user-friendly and gave a rating on the overall health of my car, as well as issues my car had with photos. They didn't call me right away and pressure me to fix everything without a quote, which was a relief. Before giving them a call back, I was able to research average costs of each of the repairs they mentioned in the report so I could make a well-informed decision and make sure I wasn't being overcharged. When I called back to ask about how much each of these things would cost, they immediately walked me through each of the solutions and estimated cost of each item, with labor. All of the prices were aligned with what I had researched, and they had my car ready to pick up by Monday afternoon. Also, the free loaner car was a lifesaver since I had to get myself to work and home. GREAT service, REASONABLE prices, and FAST turnaround. Highly Recommended! read more

This is one of those businesses where you hate to write a review because people will all take their auto repairs there. Which means just like a doctors office you may have to wait to get an appointment. Integrity Auto Repair is just that great! When my wife and I bought our used 2007 Jeep Commander from a street corner dealership we also paid $1500 for a warranty. After 10,000 miles (125,000) we had a transmission differential issue. The warranty company wanted Integrity to use used parts. The owner of Integrity Mike fought and negotiated to get us new parts. We were told that our portion of the bill might come to $1200. When we picked up the vehicle our bill was $430. If someone wanted to write a definitive book on Customer Service all that they would have to do is spend some time with Mike and his staff. When we first bought our used vehicle the dealer tried fixing a fuel line problem. When they couldn't fix it they said our Warranty would cover the repairs (Yah Right). Long story short we paid $300 for that repair which was hundreds less than what the Jeep Dealership quoted. We will take the vehicle back in for a transmission flush (most repair shops that offer this treatment do it wrong or say that they completed work that isn't done.). First off, have you noticed you get a free loaner car if they are working on yours for a couple days, and it is often a volvo or honda? Factor that in, not having to rent one, and subtract it off your bill. And no special trip to a rental place. It is just in and out when you drop off your car. I have worked with these folks before and they are always honest and kind. They charge about half what other local shops do for basic stuff like scraping the crap off your battery terminals, which in a moist environment like ours is a thing every year. I recently took my older vehicle in for some major work. I realized I wasn't gonna be able to get a new car, probably in this lifetime and had to make mine get another 120K mi, from 180K to 300K. That meant new struts (they were wasted and leaking), timing chain (ditto), one fused wheel bearing that made the rig shake and was wearing out the tires sick fast, brakes and rotors, the blower motor (under warranty by three days), and a bunch of smaller stuff. It came out to about $6K. I have used other shops in town and it would have been $8K to $10K there. These good people got me the best break they could on everything and were reasonable on labor. I have a new car, and it is 21 years old. They have my business for life and are worth yours. read more

I brought my car into Integrity for a number of issues. The car was pulling to one side and I thought it was the alignment. I needed new tires as well. After the initial inspection, Integrity diagnosed it as cracked bushings. They gave me a quote and stuck to it even though the bushing removal took way more labor than initially thought. Upon picking up the car I was told the check engine light popped on the test drive for an oxygen sensor, something completely unrelated to the work that was done. After driving for a bit, the light came on and I brought it back to Integrity to be scanned for the specific code. Not only did they scan it, but put it up on the lift again to make sure they didn't bump anything when they worked on the bushings. I am a bicycle mechanic and dabble a little bit with working on cars. (I replaced that oxygen sensor myself and wanted to gloat about it on the internet.) These folks are real professionals. They stick to their quotes and are happy to pick up the phone and answer any questions you might have. I just took the car on a 1k mile road trip with no issues. Thanks Integrity! read more

I asked them to do a pre-trip inspection and also to change my oil and top off my fluids. I also told them why I requested their service. I told them that I was going to drive across the United States, all the way to the east coast. They were very thorough and let me know about all of their concerns. My only gripe is a very minor one. They noticed that my windshield washer fluid was green and they thought it was strange but they didn't say anything to me about it. Now I should probably mention that I know my around a car pretty well myself and I probably should have noticed it but I didn't. I was in a hurry to start my trip. So my fault. But guys, next time you see that know this: It's a product made by Rain-X it's their Bug-Remover formula and it's only rated down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Rain-X also makes three different orange colored washer fluids that could be rated anywhere from -32 to -25 to 0 degrees. If you see it again I would mention it to your customers if I were you. That stuff is garbage! It's all about the inexpensive generic blue stuff guys. read more

After a recommendation from a friend, I reluctantly brought my car in for an inspection after it had been giving me issues for a few weeks. I was worried because I've had bad experiences with auto shops in the past, and was also concerned about the potential high cost. Mike was super nice and listened to me ramble off a whole list of concerns and theories of what was wrong (I have an older problematic car). They figured out the real problem and didn't try to convince me to fix a bunch of other things that weren't really necessary. In fact, the problem my car had (the breaks) was a recurring one that he told me the root of (the calipers) and that they could be fixed so it wouldn't happen again! Likely the shop I had gone to before only fixed the brakes, neglecting to mention the calipers so that I'd be back to spend more later... Because I don't know much about cars, this is a fear I have at auto shops. Needless to say, they truly hold up to their name at Integrity and I am more than happy, my car runs great again! Yes as good as it gets. I have been going here for a long time now. They have always been real good about letting me know about things to do in the future to keep my car going as long as possible. I appreciate the loaner cars and am always happy to have a clean car to go home with. Keep up the great work. Here's a tip for you, sometimes I don't check my email on my phone. I know I asked for an email report. Next time I will ask you to send me a text so I know the email has arrived. I was able to look up the file listed on my android to the computer and found I could see the photos you sent much better. I was able to see a clear photo of the corrosion at the water pump. That made it really easy what the noise was. That's just one example of how you guys go the extra couple miles to ensure customer satisfaction. I really do believe yours is a business I can say as good as it gets. I have even taken some of your suggestions and operating procedures to heart and implemented them in my own business. read more

I've been a customer since Feb. 2016 and have been impressed ever since. I had a 51 point inspection at that time and sent a report of area concerns that would need attention in the coming months. Back in April 2016 for brake repair and May 2016 for an oil change. I'm not one to always rave about auto repair shops but Integrity is top notch! From Megan, Richard and Tyler I have always been treated with sincere and honest respect. Not only did I need to have my brakes adjusted less than 2 weeks after they were completed, but it was done without any issues, they made it right! We have been taking our cars to Integrity Auto Repair for close to a year and I would not trust any others to service our cars from here on out. The staff at Integrity are upfront and honest with us of what needs repairs and in which order repairs should be completed to minimize damage if not able to have all repairs done at that time. Cannot say enough good things about this place. I drive Toyota's, Honda's, and their sister companies so I have little need for shops most of the time, but these folks took proper care of me. They VERY quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a very honest suggestion of what to do (which was to NOT fix the car but to shop for another) which obviously cost them money. We were on vacation when our truck started acting up bad. We got to Integrity on a Friday afternoon. A guy named Will came out and hooked up the truck to his computer to see if it was something simple. Alas, it was not. At least it was not something he could get too that day and they are closed on the weekends. Will sent us to one of the few places open on the weekend, with some recommendations as to what look for. He did all this free and seemed to sincerely understand our plight. I don't live in Eugene, but if I did, I would use Integrity Auto Repair. This repair shop is amazing! Being a young college girl, they could have easily tried to rip me off but they were honest, kind, fast, affordable, and incredibly helpful. They let me know what was wrong with my car just hours after I brought it in and even sent me pictures indicating what was wrong so I knew they were being truthful. My car was fixed the next morning and they sent me home with a ton of coupons and even a rose! We found Integrity Auto Repair, a few months ago. My car had a gas smell. They quickly found the problem, in one of the hoses, and did the repair for a reasonable price. A few days later my husband took his pick up there, to have some wiring done, as he was having a problem with the lights. We got treated fairly. They currently are replacing an air flow sensor, on my car. I think they are a very reputable, and honest Auto repair shop, and we are happy to find a shop I can trust.
