My starter seized while I was traveling near La Pine. I had it towed to Integrity Auto based largely on their high google reviews. They were very friendly and communicative. They were able to replace my starter, but I was absolutely shocked at the price. The starter costs about $250. They billed me for the $250 starter, and over $800 for "diagnostics and labor." I was shocked to get a bill for over $1100 to replace a starter. No one there mentioned anything about such an exorbitant price coming my way. My truck is stock. There is nothing difficult about my starter. It is easily accessible, has a heat shield, and two bolts to swap the starter. Overall, they are super friendly, polite, communicative, but I would not return because they charge like a wounded rhino. They knew I was in a bind and at their mercy, so just be aware. read more

My wife took her car in to here to have the starter replaced. Immediately afterwards, her heated seats stopped working. We brought her car in shortly afterwards with the expectation of it getting at least diagnosed for free, because it stopped working after taking it to them. They started by saying they would check and probably replace the seat elements first and go from there. We took the car home without that done and I finally got around to checking the fuses, and the heated seat fuse was just missing. Threw a fuse in there and it works fine. They are lucky we aren't pressing charges for fraud, as they intentionally removed a fuse then stated they'd start on the most expensive item. Won't be returning. read more

Had a car towed there after it broke down just south of La Pine. As it wasn't my vehicle and borrowed from a friend I asked for a full diagnostic test to understand what the issue was. I believed it was possibly the transmission and/or possibility the battery. The battery light was on and it would not start. I am an older woman and know nothing about cars I trusted them to give the vehicle a full diagnostic test. Sam the person that did the intake for me said they wouldn't get back to me until 3pm the following day. The following day I spoke with Sam who said the transmission was fine they took it out for a test drive and believe it was a battery issue. They would keep a charger on it overnight and call me when it was ready for pick-up. I was headed to Cresent Lake with a friend and stopped by to pay for the diagnostic and asked if I could pick it up on my return to Bend later that evening. He said that would be fine and the only other recommendation he had was to preform a service on the engine. I declined the service because it wasn't my vehicle and I didn't want to do anything on it without their consent, they were on vacation. He said okay just don't gun it past 5rpm because when they test drove it it didn't want to shift at that 5rpms. He didn't say hey we don't think driving it over 5rpm is unsafe and we don't advise you drive the vehicle. If he had I would have not taken the vehicle off their property. I was about ten minutes out of La Pine when I heard a bang and the car had stalled making it hard to get out of the way of vehicles coming from behind me. I thought I blew a rear tire and smoke was coming out from behind me, I thought! Two Sheriff vehicles pulled up and the first officer told me to get back from the car because fluid was leaking and in danger of catching on fire. I had no idea what had happened. It turns out a rod blew a whole in the engine and I was barley going 60 at the time and no where close to 5rpms. The shop claimed zero responsibility and said I "declined the service diagnostic test". Wow, didn't I pay for a diagnostic test? Apparently when you ask and pay for a full "diagnostic test" they only diagnose what you thought the problem was even though you pay for a "full diagnostic test". I would assume knowing nothing about cars that they include the engine in that diagnostic test! Why would you not do that portion of the test when I clearly knew NOTHING about cars!!! How would I know what to tell them to test?? That is the most ridiculous and irresponsible thing I have heard!! Yet you claim I "declined" that test and I was very rushed to get the car back. Wrong, I was headed out to Cresent Lake and didn't care when the car was done. That is just not true and from what you told me I paid for a "full diagnostic test" but I didn't want to test the engine? That's absurd and a lye, I had ZERO idea I didn't get what I paid for and I knew nothing about it potentially not making it back to Bend. It was not safe and roadworthy and this never should have happened. I came close to getting in an accident that evening and it never should have happened. My friends are down a car, it was a 2008 Acura that has now been donated. It wasn't worth the $7500.00 new engine however, for them it was a dependable vehicle that they didn't have a car payment on and a second vehicle for these new parents. They could only donate the car and take what they could as a tax credit. I am paying them the difference for what they could have received in a private party sale. This never should have come to this and the fact Integrity Auto walks away bearing no responsibility for anything is disappointIng. True lesson learned, I took them at their word I was getting a full diagnostic test and did not get that. The owner Jeremy went back and checked our recorded phone calls, the next day Jeremy said "unfortunately in your phone conversations the part about the engine was never talked about, it was verbally in person you were told". However I was told the car had been tested and "it wasn't a transmission issue its a battery issue". That"s convenient for Jeremy but morally wrong and untrue. It definitely doesn't feel like "Integrity Auto". I am happy for the people that had a better experience it just wasn't mine. read more

Integrity went above and beyond when an unexpected break down left me stranded. I am currently traveling the country in a camper van and have had phenomenal success finding good help when I need it by first checking yelp. I called ahead to several places. Integrity was the only shop with a pleasant comforting voice on the phone that assured me I could have my van towed in and they would take care of me. I asked ahead and they even allowed me to stay the night inside my van on their lot( which was a must since everything I own is inside this van). I was able to bring my dog into the waiting room and do some work on my computer while the repairs were being completed They were already busy with repairs that day, but in order to take care of me and one other customer who also broke down...the owner came in on his day off and personally fixed my problem. I was in and out in less than 24 hours and the price was extremely reasonable. I can't say enough good things about the whole staff. Everyone on this team as an exceptional attitude. It is so rare to find a business with such an exceptional customer experience....especially in the automotive industry. This place is the exact opposite of the definition of integrity, they couldn't have been further from it, I can assure you they have zero integrity. This place is THE exact definition of a mechanic that rips you off, price gouges and takes advantage of you! I'm just a normal person like you guys, I came here trusting the reviews, I'm a very nice guy and cautious of being ripped off or treated poorly, but sadly no matter how hard I tried was unable to avoid both. Ask yourself why their automated phone system says all calls are being recorded. I would run from this place, don't listen to the positive reviews, they must be from people who didn't care about paying 6x as much for a diagnostic, 4x as much for labor and 3x as much for parts. Our car was having issues so we brought it in. I was never told how much they would charge for diagnosing the issue or how long it might take (most other places don't charge anything to diagnose, or charge half an hour at around $45 and tell you if it's going to take longer). After waiting a while they told me it would cost over $1700 and up to $2000 (for parts and labor) for a simple fuel pump replacement! The amounts were scribbled on some paper, not printed, I was never given an official paper printed estimate document. They gave us a shuttle ride home which is nice, but makes sense considering they're charging rates as if I'm a millionaire. After getting home I did some research on average prices for a fuel pump replacement and found Integrity was charging me almost 4x as much as the average! Then I called 2 of the other top mechanics in La Pine and found that neither of them would charge me to diagnose the issue (or $45 for half hour if it took longer) and both would only charge $200 to $300 total for labor to replace the fuel pump and only $200 to $300 for the part. I called Integrity Auto to explain I couldn't afford it and was considering taking it to another mechanic, I asked how much they were charging me for the diagnostic work they did and she said $307 for 2 hours of diagnostic labor!!! That's $154 an hour!! This is a mind blowing amount for what should be a simple issue to diagnose, and again I was never told up front whatsoever what they were going to charge me for diagnosing the issue! Tonya said they don't charge a set amount per an hour but it's based on the job. Despite me being as nice and cordial as a person could be, Tonya began to become extremely rude with me. She said the owner himself did the diagnostic work (not sure why that matters) and she seemed really offended that we would dare take our vehicle elsewhere. The next day I called to confirm we would be taking our vehicle elsewhere, Tonya continued to be very rude to me. Because we have no car and are 10 miles away and were being charged so much for the diagnostic, we asked if they refused to drop our vehicle off at the other mechanic just a mile away from them and she laughed at me and said it would be "totally unacceptable", we then asked if they could send a shuttle out to pick us up even though we have no car which she also refused even though they were charging us an insane $307 for 2 hours of diagnostic work. I called later that day to pay for the diagnostic work over the phone, but I wanted to first request for the amount to be lowered and dispute it. At this point Tonya began to belligerently flip out and go crazy, the things she was saying and the way she was talking to me was horrible beyond belief!!! I continued to be polite and cordial. I tried to explain I was never told ahead of time the cost, but was only told the cost after the diagnostic work was already done, to which Tonya replied saying that I was told ahead of time and they have the phone call recording if I wanted a copy of it, to which I replied that indeed I would like a copy of it as her statement was totally false, I was very aware of what was going on while we were at the mechanic and would have known if she gave me a quote for the diagnostic, it's totally absurd she would lie about this. I told her everyone in La Pine should hear the current phone recording and if they did they would never take their vehicle there, I'm serious, if any of you had heard how she spoke to me you would never, ever consider going here, you would run away and fast. She talked to me like dirt, she became a complete psychotic B. I explained I was going to pay and had credit card in hand but was trying to discuss the charges. She threatened to call the Sheriff on me, and I said yes we should get the Sheriff involved, I told her I should complain to state attorney general's office, the BBB, and leave reviews, she then hung up on me!! She refused to answer the phone until we called with my wife's phone at which point we paid the $307 so we could pick up our car as they were holding it hostage! I have since filed complaints with the Sheriff, the State Attorney General and the BBB, as well writing this accurate and true review. read more

I read the reviews, went in on a Thursday they pulled the old "an ambulance came in for work and that's more important than your vehicle" just like a previous customer wrote in a review and my vehicle had to stay the weekend. Wednesday it was finished (5 business days) they were up front with the price before doing the work just don't look at the parts vs labor on that bill cause it will make you wish you did it yourself. THIS IS NOT A BAD REVIEW! the service was great and the work they did was 100%. You get exactly what you pay for.......even if that means paying a little more to have the peace of mind. read more

My husband took my FJ in to get the wheel bearings fixed and they sent us a diagnostic video so you could see everything. The parts needed to be ordered so it was there for 5 days or so, but that can't be helped. My FJ runs great now. Quiet, no more noise. About a week later they had flowers and a thank you delivered to our house. I didn't meet the owners or employees myself but I was amazed at how thorough they were, with the follow up and how great my SUV runs now. read more

I brought my van in thinking I had a failed wheel bearing. Rich, the service manager took the time to test drive my van with my canoe on top of the rack , and without. Thank god he took the time to really help me. We determined that the intense vibration I was experiencing was from the air resistance of the canoe and NOT from my wheel bearing!! What a relief. I needed half a quart of oil added to my vehicle so I offered to purchase some oil from them to show my support and gratitude for their help. Rich added some oil to my engine and when I offered to pay, he refused my money and said it's on the house! What kind of auto repair shop does that?! A very reputable and highly credible one! Will I go back again? Answer: No I set up an appointment online and was called to confirm appointment. 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel. My time slot was 10:00am 4/15/20. I was running early so i dropped my truck off at 9:00am to have the Fuel filters, Oil Filter and Oil Changed. I also requested to have a 60" LED Tailgate light installed. I called the shop at 3:47 pm to check on my truck, I received a return call at 4:52 (they close at 5:00pm) and was told they didn't have time to finish my vehicle and would need it for a couple hours the next day due to the fact they had an ambulance and some fleet vehicles come in that they worked on instead of my vehicle. The next morning a received a call at 11:17am that my vehicle was ready. Price for Fuel filters, Oil and Oil Filter change was $337.99 (this my first time owning a diesel so I have no idea if that is a fare price for that service.) Then the LED Tailgate Light that I purchased online for $80 and had them install, I was charged $388.50 in labor. To be fare I didn't ask for any quotes on pricing before leaving my vehicle with them, I just assumed pricing would be reasonable. Not sure if the $337.99 is in the ball park for the filters and oil change but i sure has heck do know it shouldn't take $337.99 in labor to tape on the LED light and hard wire it to the existing tow plug. My 2 complaints are them setting aside my vehicle to work on others after i made an appointment and then being charge $337.99 in labor for a job that should have taken no more than an hour of shop time. I don't have any issues with the quality of work so if you take your vehicle to them make sure you get a written quote before leaving it at the shop. read more

Well I suppose they may be great at repair . I never got the chance to find out. January 20 , I came into your shop to ask if it was possible to get a trailer wiring fixed. I was assured by the alleged office manager that the job was well within their ability's . I was told I could bring it in , and it most likely would not be worked on until the following Monday . On Monday about 10:30 A.M. I left a message asking to be advised of repair , confirmed my phones number. I did not get a call so I called again at 1:30 and was told it was being checked by a technician, they would call me . So I waited Tuesday . Nothing . Wednesday , I called at 4:30, and let me say the people in this small town have always been wonderful , polite, nice and kind . The office manger seems to have missed that particular part about small town living. I've not been talk down to , over the top of and been treat poorly since I left the city. She contradicted herself , refused to tell me when it would be ready, or even looked at . Thursday at 4:00 I picked it up , it hadn't been touched , and truly doubt it would have been. I was assured that even tho it was a small job , that it would be treat just the same as any job. Obviously not. If you have time to waste , and to be treated poorly , and get past the front desk troll,there maybe good people working in the shops that can give you great service. Awesome experience!! Broke down on road trip near Crater Lake. Googled Integrity. Called and explained situation. They told me not to worry. They contacted tow company, and had me towed 40 miles to their shop. When we arrived, we were greeted and shuttled to a local motel. They did a rush on my truck, and had it ready the next afternoon. They came to motel and drove us back to shop. Both towing bill, and replacing crossover tube, (not an easy job I discovered), were both MORE than reasonable. They saved our vacation. Recently went to have vehicle checked for an oil leak. They said valve cover gasket, water pump and radiator hose and thermostat needs to be replaced. They performed this repair, said no more oil leak except front differential seal leaks and CV axles needs to be replace. Paid $1355 without diff.seal and axles. Included in the bill was shop supplies $73, what's this about? The car was still leaking oil. Took it to another mechanic. He fixed the leak replacing oil cooler hose and gasket. He said differential not leaking oil and the axles were OK. Asked him how much he would have charged for what was previously done, he said approx. $500-600 and was surprised at the $1350 cost. On his repair of the oil leak he broke down cost of individual parts and labor. Integrity did not itemize all parts and labor, never had a shop do this. read more
