I took my Dodge Ram in for an alignment after having to put new tires on it. Evan explained that if it needed parts the work would have to be done first. Which I knew. I was contacted later that day by Tristen. Gave me a list of parts, tierod drag link and tie rod pitman arm. Replace rear shocks. And ball joints. I was willing to have the work done being I live outside of Portland in Columbia City, Oregon. Towing a 36 foot 5th wheel. Didn't want to take any chances. He said he would call. Never heard anything so the next afternoon I called him. He said he was waiting on the parts house. I am calling Bullshit. I have worked in the body shop trade most of my life. The parts houses know when and if they have parts. If they did not want to do the job they should have said so. Instead I waited for them and ended up driving it home hoping I had no problems. I don't like Les Schwab but from now on in that area which I spend a lot of time and family living in the area. I will trust Schwab before I ever pull into your shop again. Family and I will gladly spread the word. How your shop sends rigs that need front end parts to drive a couple hundred miles until they get home to get it fixed. Sad excuse for a shop read more

We purchased our first set of snow tires in 2022. They removed our regular tires and installed the snow tires. The quality of the tires was excellent. We recently had the tires replaced with the regular tires. They have serviced our vehicle for the last four seasons. The quality of the work has been excellent. The value is good as well. read more

Unless you like wasting your time and money I would stay far away from this shop. They are incompetent, incapable of ordering the correct tires, or even picking up a phone to relay the information ($7,000 worth of tires scheduled a week in advance). The service staff lied to me and said they ordered tires that they didn't, then wanted to insult me insisting I'm on some kind of imaginary budget because I didn't want the $12,000 set of tires, (30 ton $250,000 privately owned rig). On top of it tried to sell me a garbage set of tires for the original name brand quote when I arrived at my appointment. Complete waste of a week of my time and $300 worth of diesel sitting around waiting for this shop. If I had a business license, Point S would absolutely be receiving a bill at this point for wasting so much of my time and money. Extremely unprofessional shop, stay far away! read more

This place saved me! I was headed home through Chemault to Salem, Oregon when I slid on black ice and destroyed my tires. AAA towed me to Point S, I was hesitant since I had never been there or heard of them. I explained my situation and that my husband had only given me enough money for gas. A short while later they handed my keys and said "Merry Christmas, you're good to go!" I will forever recommend this place from now on and it turns out they have a location here in Salem too! Can't say enough about the people and products at the La Pine Point S store. I badly needed new tires on my Silverado. I was tired of slipping and sliding around like I did last winter with tires that were supposed to be a good traction tire. At the same time I didn't want an overly aggressive that would be noisy.on pavement. The guys recommended the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tire. I am very impressed with the performance on ice and snow without any increase in noise over the previous tires. Glad I chose Point S. I was headed to Sunriver for a fun weekend with my family when I discovered a low tire when we stopped for gas in Chemult. I filled up the tire and about 10 miles out of La Pine, my light went on indicating that it was low again. I obviously had a leak! We googled tire shops in La Pine and Point S popped up. We called at 4:54pm (closing at 5pm!). We explained the situation and they stayed open and waited for us! They were extremely friendly and not unhappy about staying. Fixed my tire and we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. The topper, is that he wouldn't charge me anything... so I tipped the kid in back that fixed my tire. After years of living in the PNW, we normally take our business to Les Schwab like everyone else. Because they are "so great". Well the past 2 years I've had 3 different situations where they have over charged us or tried to screw us, and after the last time have officially cut ties. Donezo. So when our van needed new brakes we were quoted OVER $500 for the job at a shop in Bend. For front end freaking brakes. So we put it off long enough to where whenever we drove the van just screeched. Ugh. So, Monday I called around to a couple places but I was either put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up or it went to voicemail. My husband told me to call Point S and see if they had any openings. So I called around lunch and they got me an 8 am appt the next day. Coolio. Went in, dropped the van off and went home. When I picked it up, they told me they did new pads, new roters and my total was $221. Like, what?! Insane that I was quoted SO much more at another shop. They didn't try and sell me anything else. They didn't try and make me feel stupid when I asked questions (you'd be surprised being a woman getting work done on my vehicle) it was a friendly smile, honest answers and honest work. No game, no BS, no "oh we also noticed you need X,Y,Z done " ( when I don't). We will definitely be back and this will be the place we definitely recommend to our friends! OUTSTANDING!!! I was at wits end looking for a couple of tires for my pickup. Everywhere I went, they would show me "off-road" type tires. My truck is not 4wheel drive and we tow it behind our motorcoach. No one would listen to me! But they did here! I bought 2 tires that matched the other two and were what I wanted. As good as it gets! We were a part of the Great American Eclipse Mass Exodus when our car overheated. We made it to Gills and our car was quickly diagnosed as having a dead fan but being an older foreign car they didn't have a replacement part. However, Gills quickly identified where one could be shipped to us and gave us the advice we needed to feel we could drive home safely. The owner couldn't have been nicer, sharing stories and attending to our comfort as we waited for our car. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area so very far from home which is why it was all the more comforting to feel confidence in the service we were provided. Well done! read more
