I needed a flat repair while on vacation in the Bend area so contacted Les Schwab. They were able to squeeze me in even though it was a busy Saturday. When I went to settle up after the repair they didn't even charge me! I would expect this if I had purchased the tires from them but I hadn't. Adding to Jody's review. Why is Les Schwab throwing quality out for the sake of time. I'm guessing the new owners will continue to chip away at quality for the sake of profit. I get that this a crazy time of year and you're trying to get as many customers through as possible but you just wasted our time and your time. Also. If you mounted the tires in the same position then you may get a pass. But I don't think you do that. Could be wrong. We chose Les Schwab for a reason and coming back twice was not one of them. Came in Friday to get my snow tires put on and got here at 7:45 before they open and the line had already started. There were 10 people ahead of me. Got checked in at 8:10 which I thought was great so I waited and waited and waited. It was a little over 3 hours when I got called up. Drove off and my tires felt off balanced. Came back on Monday am at 10 and was told by Gary they don't to tire balance unless I had asked. Really? I also told him my emergency tire pressure light came on coming in. He said ok we will get you fixed but you will need to wait about 2 hours. I again explained I was already here in Friday for a little over 3 hours. Doesn't care and explained they have 6 hour's worth of work to do. I would have thought they would have gotten me in quicker due to already had been here and nobody told me I had to ask for a tire balance when they switch out the tires. Called the competitor and they said they do it automatically. Will be going there from now on. read more

Traveling from the East Coast and had a slow leak in my front passenger tire of my tow vehicle. They took us in 5 minutes before they closed, 10 minutes later pulled the truck back around and the tire was fixed. He said it was a small nail and no charge. I couldn't believe my ears. Was heading to Idaho for soMe fishing and had some tire issues on the boat trailer. Pulled into La Pine Les Schwab at 1pm on a Friday. Blake the salesperson took care of me. Told me it's going to be about 2 hour wait. Had 5-6 cars in front of me. It was the Saturday after the first storm. Everyone in town was getting their snow tires for the season. She told me to pull the trailer around to the side and they tech would be with me when it was my turn. Pulled around and the tech waved me up to the door. Asked what tires needed to be changed. Showed him the two tires and he was on it. Went back and told Blake I wanted to finish the paperwork. Still had a few hundred miles to drive. Came back out and Jason the service tech had the second tire on the trailer. He said just had to torque them down and I be good to go. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Big props to Les Schwab in LaPine, OR. Ran over something on the way to a soccer game at the top of Willamette Pass we started to loose air right away. Did a temporary fill patch & hobbled an hour to LaPine were Bo & his team took great care of us. They even ran to bend to get us 2 new tires! Do the hustle! We were heading out of Bend and stopped for gas, then noticed our TPMS showed a low tire. Luckily, we had just passed the LaPine Les Schwab. We pulled in as a detour to our vacation and I have never seen a team work so quickly to resolve our situation. This shop was quite busy and several customers waiting, yet Tanya immediately walked out to look and felt the tread on all our tires. Two of our tires was replaced about 2000 miles ago by the Ford Dealer (another story) and the back two still had tread left but 80,000 miles on them. I agreed it would be better to replace both and she looked up the tire size and they had them in stock. I sat in the waiting area and my wife and I saw every single employee "Hustle" back and forth from the shop to the front desk!! I was so impressed!! Anyway, quite shortly my keys were returned, I paid my bill and only 1 hour and 15 minutes from when we stopped for gas, we were on our way. This is a case study for Team Work! Bravo! read more

I'm done with Les Schwab! After months of trying to get in and being told "we're to busy" I finally got in. It was a fast appointment because they wouldn't take my tires off because they were too worn. They try to sell me another set of tires with a 50,000 mile warranty. The tires on the car were from Les Schwab, had only 25,640 miles, and had a supposed 50k warranty. BUT because I couldn't get in to rotate them every 5-7k miles they would honor the warranty. 25,640 miles! read more

The associates there were all very helpful, as each one who came into the reception area would ask if we'd been taken care of yet...very good customer service! They did their best to get us back on the road without too much a wait. The gal who helped us (I wish we'd asked her name) was a hustler...she was very efficient and STILL apologized for the wait. Don't even bother if you didn't buy your tires from them. I took my winter wheels and tires in to be balanced before I put them on my car for the winter. Within a month they needed to be rebalanced, so I took them in and had them do it again, only to find two weeks later, they needed to be done again. So I took them in again. When I say I took my wheels and tires in to them, I mean I took my snow wheels and tires off of my car, put my summer wheels and tires back on, and took my winters in for rebalancing. Only this time I was told NO, we're not going to do it again. Excuse me? I was told I'd have to bring it in for a test drive so they could make sure that's what was wrong. OK, so I switched again and went back. Only this time I was told it would be $65 for them to go on a test drive, so apparently they just make it up as they go. He also said my alignment was out, like he could tell by looking at it . So I called Mikes Tire and Auto in Sunriver and they said come on over. I had them check my alignment and rebalance my wheels and tires for the third time. I made no mention of my bad experience and when all was said and done, every one of my tires needed balanced and the alignment was within tolerance. So don't even waste your time, you might as well pay someone that knows what their doing to do it right the first time. read more

We were scheduled for an appointment at 6pm. We found this off because it's at their closing time, so we called an confirmed. When we showed up, they said "we see your appointment on the schedule, but can't help you because we're closed and the bays are already full." There should have been some form of communication ahead of time when someone saw the appt on the schedule or accommodation made for their own error. read more

Probably the worst store I've been to. I get all my tires on all my Riggs from them. Finally got in after letting someone who got here after us. We were traveling through. Stopped at two other LS the wait was 2 hours. We had live stock and other animals. So we asked if the store two towns up could call and put us in line for this store. The manager called and let them know we were on our way. That way we wouldn't have such a wait and we could get on our way. When we were finally seen the tire was taken off and they took a break...... okay I'm thinking we shouldn't have to look for you?? That is what it took. I've never had such horrible service from les schaub ever. Very disappointing. read more

Les Schwab saved the day. We had two blowouts in two days on our 36 ft Bighorn Fifth Wheel trailer. After the first, we called a service and put on the spare. With no spare left to take care of the second blowout, we called Les Schwab. They were friendly, quoted a price that was less than we had previously been quoted and sent a technician to us on the side of the highway. Mac, the technician, was friendly, efficient and professional. He also diagnosed the issue - it seems that the manufacturer had installed two different sizes of tires. read more

Their team always goes above and beyond! We've had alignments, brakes serviced, winter/stud tires, purchased and replaced car batteries, and flat tire changes. Females beware. They will tell you that you need something that you don't need. They asked if I wanted them to talk to my husband for me. I have worked on my own car, I don't need them to talk to my husband! I know more about cars than he does. Also, the woman at the front, acted nice but rolls her eyes and was rude. She's probably a nice person but needs a vacation. I would have given them one star but the man who finally talked to me about my car after he did the work was educated and treated me as if I was on the same level when he explained what he did (and what he didn't do, which was exactly what I wanted- thank you to him). read more

My girlfriend braved her way over the snowy mountain pass only to have her jeep tire blow out a few miles outside of La Pine, Oregon. I called the La Pine store at 4pm, which had already been closed for an hour doing inventory, and spoke to Leonard. I explained the situation and he had one of his team members at her side in under ten minutes...did I mention they were already closed??? We felt like we were starring in one of those great Les Schwab saves the day tire commercials, but it was real life, 24 degrees and dropping, on New Years Eve with darkness upon us. Outstanding service here. The manager, Mickey was willing to take care of a problem created by another store. Normal, right? What many don't know is that some Les Schwab stores are dealer owned franchises while most now are company owned. It was a franchisee that caused the problem and a company store that fixed it. Never again, Les Schwab! I tried to give lapine les schwab another try and keep my money in the community, but instead walked out. After waiting to be helped and watching the manager help others that walked in after us and the admin lady take phone calls instead of helping waiting customers, we were getting close to walking out. Then the admin lady finally got off her call and asked to help who was next, which was obviously us, since we were the only ones left. We said that must be us, since everyone else walked in after us and got helped. She gave us a rude look and just said, well what can I help you with. If she just would have apologized, we would have given them out money. Instead went to Goodyear in Bend, where the staff is awesome, maybe you should take lessons, Les Schwab. read more

My dad drove up to Oregon to see the eclipse but one of the suspension air bags went out leaving him limping on the road. He was able to get to La Pine and the team at Les Schwab charged him a reasonable price and had him on his way in a few hours. My dad was impressed at how they were running around and working hard. I've used other Les Schwab stores before and always had great experiences. I moved to Sunriver a little over a year and a half ago and have used the La Pine Les Schwab about 6 times for tires, winter changeover, etc now. Every time these guys have failed to impress - I have consistently found their customer service sub-par, especially compared to other Les Schwab outlets. Today when I went to retrieve my vehicle I asked the employee a question and in the middle of the sentence he walked off to speak with someone else. That's the last straw - I'm going somewhere else. I bought new snow tires and custom wheels here. Had the snow tires mounted on the stock rims and stock tires mounted on the new LS custom wheels. When I went there last week they were snotty and told me they would have to charge me 20 dollars from here on out to reprogram the tire sensor because the tires on the LS rims weren't LS tires. They sold me the tire sensors on the new LS wheels for an extra 250 dollars and they promised to always reprogram them for free whenever I swapped winter summer tires. If you're used to LS stellar service, this store is sure to disappoint you. He was snotty and making a point that my tires weren't LS tires and they wouldn't do it anymore. When I tried to explain I did buy their tires AND wheels AND custom lug nuts AND pressure sensors he just copped an attitude and walked away. This is my 3rd bad experience here. Winter weather tire change over 11/27/2015. Bad Experience ! Called prior to driving from Sunriver to La Pine Les Schwab, checking if still taking cars for the day and approx. how long. I was told yes and come on down wait of approx. 3-4 hours, this was at 8:45. I was told they take approx. 50 cars a day and they were at 31. arrived there 15-20 minutes later, was told no longer taking cars. I explained my calling, they said they would work me in and have me out by 6:00pm. asked what happened to the 3-4 hour wait, they said that is what it is. Called as I left and spoke with the manager, he said come back he will work something out. I said no I was already out the door heading back to Sunriver. He should train his employees better as they are a reflection of him and his store. read more
