My kitchen sink had a drip, had to shut the handle just right. After weeks of searching for what I wanted (by the time I got to the store, went completely opposite direction), I happened to be on Facebook and this post pops up for Backwater Plumbing. Something about the post, the logo, the GUT feeling and he was the guy. I reached out after work on a Saturday, apologizing for attempting to connect on the weekend, with ease he responded, and a few texts later we schedule the appointment. His communication was on point, they arrived on time and I happened to be here and got to overhear him training a new employee (day 1, poor kid meets Me) and he was so great making sure the younger man understood. Sure it's just a sink but this is my home so the experience is important too. He had to redo all of the piping under the sink (I went from a 2 to 1 bowl), it was so clean under the sink after they left. Nothing left on the floor, the counters, all superb! The heat and AC from the mini split unit is her sole source of heating and cooling. In June, the unit went down and we used Martel to evaluate the issue. They determined the thermal seal somehow broke, which stopped the unit. They suggested reaching out to Eli to see if he could help us navigate the warrantied part with Samsung. He was unresponsive, then had his office manager send me a dismissive email saying there was nothing they could do. My contractor then contacted him and Eli stated he did not want to help us. We understood we would have to pay for the repair labor but just needed a hand to get the warrantied part. It's disappointing that he doesn't stand behind and support the product he sells. He lost a customer in us and a contractor that will no longer do business with him.

They had to come back because they didn't put the back piece of the toilet on correctly, it was rocking.They had to come back a third time because now there was a constant smell. They caulked around the toilet. For the next 7 months the smell would come back, sometimes a little, sometimes unbearable. BUT then I started getting little sewer flies. I was not calling them. I found Gardner Johnson on Yelp. It was a blessing. He listened. He looked. He fixed. The previous company had not set the ring correctly, and there was sewage literally sitting under my toilet. Anything you need plumbing wise, you would be wise to pick Johnson Plumbing. He also sent his assistant to help with another issue with my septic system. The assistant saved me at least a thousand dollars from a previous professional telling me what I needed to do. He showed me pictures proving it did not need to be done. We had a technician come to check a AC unit that was not working. The Freon level was read and…read moredetermined that there would need to be extensive search to determine where there was a leak. It was recommended to replace the unit as it would cost less. The salesperson asked if we would get more quotes we said yes. Glad we did as it was fixed in 30 minutes, instead of replaced for 11,000.00. The second HVAC professional also informed us that the price quoted was extremely high to replace that unit. (Seconded by a 3rd HVAC company.) There were also questions on the Freon reading as the settings did not match the size unit we needed to work on. This was determined by the subsequent HVAC company who looked at our service report, he said none of it made any sense. When I called and requested my 99.00 back as the whole conclusion of the visit by them was erroneous I received a bit of a run around asking for more details. I sent an email with an explanation as to why this was a visit that was a waste and should be complimentary as it was erroneous but no reply.
