Wednesday night, they still had not gotten to it. Told me it was the "next one in" like they said on Monday morning. Showed up Friday at 2 pm and nothing had been done. My truck didnt even move from the place I parked it on Monday. Super disappointed with their service and will not be going back. Im fixing it myself this weekend now. An entire week without my truck, means an entire week with no pay.

D&W used to service transmissions for a small mechanic shop I worked at in Leelanau county, so I've seen them do over 40 transmissions in my short time as a mechanic. We never had a problem with any of their work! Not a single tranny, and I'd be willing to bet that's the norm for Wayne and the D&W crew. So now, when the trans in my plow truck finally had had enough, I confidently took it to D&W. Wayne took me for a diagnostic cruise in my truck so he could explain what was happening and what would have to be done for repairs. It's great that he took the time to help me understand how and why! I do most repairs on my vehicles, but transmissions are over my head, can't thank you enough D&W!!
