BEWARE!!! CFMOTO does not stand behind their product and Sleeping Bear Motor Sports does not know how to service the machines they sell. I purchased a 2022 CFmoto Zforce 800 from Eric at Sleeping Bear Motor Sports. The purchase was a great experience. We have just over 2000 miles on this machine. I took it into them because it was burning oil. Our mechanic was Jake. They charged me two hours to do a compression check. Told me the compression check passed and said they would like to adjust the valves, and this would be another two hours. I agreed... Jake contacted me and told me that this did not work, and he would like to replace the valve seals to fix the issue. I agreed. The charge was 1139.80 + 89.61 to put a tube in the rear tire. When I picked up the machine (after several days) Jake and owner, Eric assured me the unit was fixed. I hauled it all the way to Tennesse. Pulled it off of the trailer and it was still burning oil, worse than when I brought it into them. I called Eric, he told me that since that did not work, he would need to replace the top end and it would cost me an additional $2,400. read more

Asked about bringing in a off brand (Subaru) go kart/buggy. Only needed a simple diagnosis on why the drive belt is grabbing in idol. Perhaps wrong belt or too high of idol. First I was told that they were booking a week out. Then I got a call that one of the mechanics would do it and to bring in pictures. An hour later I got a call from the woman that "Eric" said it would be a couple of months if they decided they would work on it. You gotta be kidding me! Is some how my money not good enough or are you too proud to be seen working on a kids cart?? Just say you don't work on small engines from the start. BTW it's a Dam clutch just like a snowmobile which you claim to work on I must thank you as my wife and I were going to buy 2 side by sides for the family. We thought about your off brand new equipment but we're concerned about quality issues. Worst experience I have ever had with any vehicle dealer ever, & I have yet to visit their showroom in person. I spoke with Eric & made an offer via phone instead of calling me to let me know the motorcycle seller was not interested in my offer & to make a counter offer, Eric simply did not call me back. There is no manual for the motorcycle, or service history & the asking price is high considering the milage & that the manufacturing company no longer exist. I don't mind negotiating price, but with abysmal customer service I don't look forward to, or recommend doing buissness with this dealer at all. Also looks like the employees are liars as well, I made a reasonable offer & never received any phone calls back. Eric F. & his establishment have the worst customer service I have ever expierenced. read more
