Ambiance: Christmas themed decor with a Tiki twist Food: drinks were great and food was good. Service: it was very busy in a Thursday evening. There were 4 bartenders and a bar back. They were slammed. And I think they did a great job with the demands of the patrons. Let me explain the 1 star rating. My friend raised her glass to take a sip of her cocktail. The entire bottom broke from the top and spilled the contents over 4 people. Half my pants leg was covered. Another had her purse drenched. Another her shoes were soaked. The one with the drink - her entire pants was soaked. My friends husband talked to the bar manager and he said he would comp us (4) a drink. So we told the bartender what our friends husband said. The bar manager came over and said he is only going to comp my friends drink that exploded. We all looked at him like "WTF just happened?" His bar back cleaned up the mess around us and saw all the liquid on the ground and stools. I don't even think they check to see if we were ok. The 3 of us paid our tabs and left. I haven't been to Tiki Thai much this year but when I had, I never had an issue. The service from the bar manager was appalling to say the least. There are so many restaurants in Reston Town Center that we can spend our money at and we will from now on.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cool place! The decor was well done and intentional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious here. We had the chef's special pad Thai and it was so good. At first it didn't look different than regular pad Thai but the flavors were so much bolder. We also had a tofu dish that was amazing as well. The server was friendly and patiently explained the menu items when we had questions. We look forward to returning next summer!

The drinks were fun and holiday themed. Mine tasted great as well! I loved that the curry puffs came with its own little pot of hot curry it was soooo delicious probably best curry puff I've ever had. The chicken stir fry we got was good and heathy. I would return to try more on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was festive for the holidays[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service at the bar was welcoming and quick!

I've been curious about this place since seeing all their Instagram pics. The place did not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Food, service and most of all ambiance hit the 5 star mark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Same owner as Sense of Thai(multiple locations(, they carried their themed decor to this cute place. The menus, the outdoor patio, bar area and dining room all had personality.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great: water glasses and drinks always attended by someone. Multiple people delivering food, explaining items and asking if we needed anything. My friends and I decided to order full entrees since we also wanted to try the Pupu Platter consisting of beef, chicken, pork, salad, pork rinds and sweet rice. It was plenty of food for 3 people. Our entrees included 2 types of curry and the Pad Zee U. All were tasty with plenty of protein in each dish. We all packed plenty of to-go for later. Parking in the lot is free for 3 hours but if you go over the 3 even by 10 minutes then it's $12(that happened to me). They have lunch specials $18 that included a choice of appetizer and a good selection for entrees. We didn't go that route but for my next visit, I may chose that option.

Food is great, drinks are strong. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is fantastic and the restaurant is so pretty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice little outdoor area is great on a sunny day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Walkable from the metro station. Been here at least 10 times and it's always first on the list to treat out of town visitors. No one has ever had a meal they didn't like. Can get pretty spicy, though!

I took my parents with me on a lunch date, my Dad rarely eats out, maybe 2-3x a year because he likes cooking his own food at home. Needless to say, he enjoyed himself and the Lychee Duck Curry. So much so, he even looked up how to make it, it was extremely flavorful and the duck was tender. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were greeted by Fern the hostess who sat us right under some pretty cool artwork.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were waited on by Kiki, Amm and Gina, because shifts were rotating out, they are all so nice and helpful, we got recommendations from each one of them. We placed an order for the drinks and appetizers (everything came out really quickly) and enjoyed ourselves. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, there's a cherry blossom theme currently with a really cool pink decorated phone booth in the front before you walk in and themed menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bar is very nice as well, my parents took a picture in front of it. The food was AMAZING, they have a lunch special menu and from what I saw was what the other patrons were ordering from as well. It's a steal of a deal! Here's what my parents and I ordered: Appetizers: Tom Yum: Chicken, lemongrass, chili, cherry tomatoes, kaffir lime, mushrooms Healthy Roll: Minced chicken, lettuce, carrots, Thai basil, rice noodles, cucumber, rice paper, spicy peanut dipping sauce Calamari: Southern-style fried whole wings, pickled veggies, sticky rice or steamed veggies Hot Gai Wings: Batter fried calamari, Sriracha aioli, shishito peppers Drinks: Love Yuzu Chardonnay North Bound Entree: Shishido beef: Flank steak, shishito peppers, mushrooms, onions, scallions, carrots Lychee duck curry: Duck breast, lychee, finger peppers, cherry tomatoes, Thai basil, pineapple, red curry paste Basil, fried rice: Ground chicken, Thai basil, bell peppers, green beans, finger peppers, fried egg Sa Mui Lo Mein -- Gina told us to try this dish. 100 stars. I would've never ever tried this. Shrimp, minced chicken, egg, onions, Thai basil, bell peppers, pineapple, chili shrimp paste Dessert: Cappuccino Spicy Brownie: Thai chili pepper, dark chocolate, almond tuile, salted caramel ice cream Pina Colada: Pineapple cake, coconut glaze, coconut flake, toasted coconut & chocolate chip ice cream I can't wait to see what's on the summer menu! I'll be back!

Tiki Thai Reston is one of my favorite place to go to for a late night cocktail. They open til late and you can ask for a drink based on your preference (e.g. sweetness of the drink). The chicken satay was delicious and tasted great! plenty of sauce and great to share. If you like sweet cocktails, choose "free as a bird" , taste like juice alcohol. Price was also reasonable and staff is always so friendly! Would always recommend this place!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and tiki decor was adorable![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with my mom and got the pineapple fried rice, it was good but I was hoping it would come inside an actual pineapple like the pictures. I got the chicken satay with peanut sauce too which I really liked. The service was decent and I really want to come back to try their drink menu because it looks like they have a ton of good options!

    Mai Tai but 90% ice
    Vivian Z.

Food is decent, but extremely slow service and can barely flag down the waiters. Additionally, the drinks are overpriced. I got this Mai Tai that was $17 but majority (prob 90%) ice and 10% actual liquid, which was really disappointing.

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

The blonde hostess was welcoming and gave us a friendly greeting. She sat us outside and with good shade for my doggo. Andre, our server, was attentive to all our needs and exceeded expectations. He gave us plenty of time to decide on drinks and food. He also gave us plenty of water and ice to cool my fur baby down which I greatly appreciated. The drinks were solid. I will say the frozen pina colada was super strong and I wish it had more of the coconut tropical taste. It was definitely a cool down drink though. My mom likes strong drinks so keep at it! We had the honey old bay wings to start which were absolutely a must try! Very crisp and tasty! I ordered the burger which was tender and tasty. My mom had the chicken wrap at first but she had to send it back as she did not want ranch on it. Seeing that made her stomach turn (not ya'll fault, she had food poisoning yesterday, doesn't eat dairy, and wasn't too hungry). We ordered a plate of wings again to satisfy her and it overall was a nice outing. Andre and the staff were very attentive and I would highly recommend anyone try this hidden gem. Extra kudos to Andre though. Bro is an absolute gentleman and please let him know he is a star server in my eyes. I have been coming for two years! Thanks again!
