My experience with International Diamond Center has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I purchased a Verragio wedding band and what should have been an exciting process has turned into over four months of constant issues, delays, and poor communication. The most recent problem perfectly summarizes the experience. I was never contacted when my ring arrived. I had to call the store myself to find out it was there. When I called, I was then told there is now another issue with the ring and I cannot pick it up until possibly next week. Had someone simply called me when the ring arrived, as any competent business would, the issue could have been addressed sooner and I likely could have picked up my ring today. Instead, this is just another delay added to an already exhausting four-month process. The biggest issue throughout this entire experience has been communication. I repeatedly have to follow up myself for updates. Calls are not made when promised, and information is not proactively shared with customers. For a purchase of this price point, I expected professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service. Instead, the process has been stressful and poorly managed from start to finish. At this point, the experience has been so frustrating that I've honestly decided I don't even want the ring anymore. After months of problems and stress surrounding something that was supposed to be meaningful, it honestly just feels like bad luck attached to it now. A luxury jewelry purchase should feel exciting and special. Instead, this has been one of the most frustrating retail experiences I've ever had. I would strongly caution anyone considering a ring from International Diamond Center to think twice. read more

So sad!! Bought rings in 2013 and they recommended white gold since dipping would be included for life! Just told this week that if items were purchased prior to 2016, you'll now be charged $75 per ring since they have recently changed their policy! How convient for you.. just something to think about . So they can change their policies whenever they see the need and lifetime cleaning and dipping is a lie! First time in to IDC and it wasn't a pleasant first experience. Nice looking store and plenty of options. Where my girlfriend and I had an issue was with the customer service from the woman we dealt with. We wanted to learn about Rolex watches and purchase one. Clearly she was interested more in finding a LAY DOWN(salesman term for an easy sale)sale. So asking questions was clearly aggravating her because if she thinks we're not buying she'll want to move on to the next person. She became argumentative with her replies and didn't help our decision making any easier. So we left and ended up finding what we were looking for at a competitors location that took the time and was patient with our questions. Maybe just a one time thing. I visited this location two times in one day because I was trying to decide on a pair of diamond earrings for my wife. They had a great selection of diamond earrings and other jewelry. I ended up purchasing diamond earrings from a different store but this store did have great looking Diamonds. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I didn't feel really good vibe while in the store. When making a large purchase it always feels better if you feel welcome. Visited this store today to shop for an engagement ring for a friend and the customer service was horrible. I understand they have a standard to uphold but I was searching for Lab Diamonds and the lady was super rude as soon as I mentioned that. She bashed Lab and said they were garbage and you basically throw money in the trash when buying lab diamonds. She also said they are so horrible places are giving them away for free. I personally was just given a Lab Diamond from my fiancé and was highly highly offended and wasn't sure what to even say when this employee was talking to us. Unfortunately the times are different than just a few years ago. Several years ago I took an inherited ring to the Tampa location and the did a good job sizing it for me and it looked great. Now, my wife's wedding set , that she has worn for 37 years had a weak spot in the bottom of the rings. They did a repair that was quite pricey $300 called a half shank. Picked up the ring and it was beautiful, and we were very happy, but... after a short period of time the wedding band portion (without the stone) starting turning. It turned or tarnished. First time in 37 years. So I took it back , asked for the manager, thinking this was an obvious situation that they would fix. Well, no, the manager explained to me that it was either it was her natural skin oils, or hard water . Only the one ring not the set, turned and only after they (FIXED) it. I explained, after all these years of wearing it, nothing, then they touched it and it tarnished. And they refused to even look or examine. So, as of today, I would say go somewhere else for repairs on jewelry than means a lot to you, because that really don't care. They got the $300 and that's all that matters. read more

When I arrived I met my friend Greg Scheinbart. After looking my wring over he told me "lets go shopping". If he had the ability he would have done backflips to make me happy. After shopping a while he told me " let me show you something really cool" a Breitling watch which was worth 400.00+ more than than the ring I had come in with and the best looking time piece in the store. My fiancé bought me a ring in Cozumel, I hit my hand really hard one day at work and on of the stones came out. I took my ring here to be fixed and I wanted to make sure that I was going to get the same quality and clarity diamond so I brought in all of my paperwork to show them what the diamonds where and what the clarity was. They assured me that it would be the exact same quality and clarity. Went to pick up my ring and I noticed the diamond they replaced was not placed right, it was crooked which caused it to fall out again, I immediately called and spoke with a manger and he told me to come in and he would take care of it. So we did, they replaced the diamond again and when I went to pick up my ring the lady was extremely nasty with us. I don't remember her name but she had bleach blonde hair. The manager had said he was going to take care of but yet she lady told us we had to pay. So we paid for their mess up, then come to find out, they didn't put the same clarity or quality diamond back in the ring as I was promised. If they simply didn't have that type of diamond they should have been honest with us and told us and we would have went else where. But of course, why would they be honest and loose a sale? So I wouldn't recommend these people because they are rude, dishonest, and they do not stick to what they promise. They act like they are better then anybody who walks through that door. Greg was very nice and in 10 minutes got me a new pin and changed my band out. This was my first experience with IDC and it did not disappoint. All the folks that my husband and I worked/encountered there were patient, knowledgeable, and did not make us feel pressured to purchase. Especially Tammy, she is the best, ask for her if you go. She spent a lot of time with us and we never felt rushed. We made several transactions on this visit- sold them broken/outdated 14K jewelry, had my wedding band/ engagement ring resized,had diamond hoop earrings fixed, and purchased a unique and gorgeous diamond anniversary ring, as well as diamonds studs for our daughters. Their jeweler is very good too; my wedding rings are better than new. It is hard to find a place you trust and sells quality items and we feel we did. First impressions: I did not know what to expect...I have NEVER been to a jewelry store haha. I was a little shocked by the metal detector thingy you walk through, but i guess its necessary. I believe they were doing some type of maintenance or construction as we saw what looked like wood shavings everywhere. My husband took me here to be fitted for rings. The gentleman who was helping us out was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us as we looked through some of the cases at our leisure. BUYER BEWARE!! if I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately I do have to give them a measley 1 star. My husband bought my engagement ring here back in 2015 which was a custom order ring with the help of the salesman JD (awesome sales guy) which turned out beautifully however it was all down hill from there we understood the band's would take some time as my husband wanted to purchase 2 band's so we decided to wait until after the wedding so we could take our time and get an accurate precise product. After returning in February 2017 we began to work with Alvin since our prior sales guy re located. The first RED flag was when I was told the jeweler couldn't make a CAD image and I would need to come in to compare a green rubber mold next to my ring for a "match" My exact words were will the ring be this thick and chunky I don't like it I was told no that it's just a mold the band will be slimmer. Second RED flag is when I got a call week later because they forgot they needed to send my engagement ring back to the jeweler... ring comes back and it's my worst fear 2 thick chunky band's that I specifically complained about. They then offered to shave down the ring to slim it down... also the diamonds didn't match the color or size to my engagement band which we were told would look "identical" but they were wrong. So the rings got sent out again, so I decided to check in since they don't follow up with there customers and I was told the rings were waiting my approval to come in the store I get there only to make brief eye contact with Alvin and then to be avoided because he knew he had messed up my husband and I then preceded to set on a bench I. The store for 1 hour waiting on Alvin who never came around however everyone wants to make sure u want something to drink. Finally the VP gal was in the store so my husband approached him he looked like someone in management that could help us gal told us he would personally take care of the ring after listening to our concerns and acknowledging that he wouldn't have excepted the ring either and he would see to it that the ring was up to standard. He did put my original diamond in a setting so I could keep it and my ring was sent out for about 2 weeks. He called twice while I was at work but didn't leave a call back message so once again I reach back out to IDC only to find out he's on vacation and to get the run around someone will call me back. Finally few days later a nice lady named Kathy calls me to say rings are ready and IT'S THE BEST THEY CAN DO. Finally on the 11th trip I go in with no hope and low and behold it's the same exact rings I've seen this whole time I get the spiel about shaving them down blag blah blah and then she has the nerve to tell Me we can take all your diamonds out and replace them to match... are u crazy! I then tell her to please set my atone I'm done with the process so it takes them 45 minutes to set the stone and "rodium" it which mind u no one has word the ring in almost 2 months. I get my ring and get ready to pull out when I tell my husband to stop turn around they scratched my band and it had multiple chips. I go back and miss Kathy tells me the jeweler did it and I'll fix it as she does that she hands us a gift card as if we'll come back. Now after "fixing it" I notice dull spots and more scratches so she gets upset and so do the jeweler I asked her why didn't they notice the damage with their goggles and she had no answer. Then returns to say sorry that's the best we can do. As we leave she proceeds to say the damages were probably my own wear and tear and she didn't see the ring when I brought it!!! But couldn't show me the check in sheet or check out sheet which if there were damages would've been noted. I feel like this company doesn't value their customers at all! They just bounce u around from diff. People hoping they can cover up each other's mess! It's also a shame that we walked next door and found a perfect match in 20 minutes when they had 2 months. I hope the owner replies I've been trying to get ahold of u for months now!! read more

My husband and I had been looking for a wedding band to go with my newly upgraded engagement ring for weeks. We had gone to many different jewelry stores but nothing really appealed to me. My coworker suggested I try International Diamond Center because he had purchased an engagement ring from here and said this place was awesome. We were impressed the moment we came in. Everyone was very accommodating. We worked with Adam Leonardo and let me just say that he truly deserves all of these wonderful reviews. Not only did he take the time to get to know us,he also knew everything there was to know about diamonds. He helped me pick out two unique, beautiful bands that really showcased my engagement ring. Since they don't work on commission, I never felt like I was being pressured to get something more expensive. It was actually the opposite! So after picking out my bands I expected to have to wait a week or at least a few days before being able to pick them up since they had to be sized and soldered together, but no. I was able to pick it up the next morning! The jeweler did an amazing job with the rings. The bands have a lot of detail, so I know it must've been tough to get them to match up just right and look the way I wanted them to with my engagement ring. After seeing the finished product all put together perfectly and on my finger I was beyond happy. We found the staff,products,and policies at IDC to be far superior than any other jewelry store we had visited and I highly recommend you see Adam Leonardo when you stop in. Was not a good experience today at all. They are so pushy and not at all warm people that you'd want to sit and talk to. Went to IDC first today and visited multiple shops afterwards. IDC was the worst by far mainly because their "lowest prices of any jewelry store" is actually the complete opposite. They are ridiculously overpriced! Saw a 1.5 carat diamond there for $18,000 and saw a 2 carat at Jared for half the price! Staff was dressed very casual and unprofessional, made it seem as if they didn't know what they were doing. They won't let you really touch anything unless you are absolutely buying it, unlike every other place I went to. Overall, would never do business here, pretty much a scam. read more
