I have a leaking hot tub & I contacted IHT to see if they would be able to potentially come out & repair it. They promptly reached out to me the next morning! Don't be fooled by the big name and various locations - this company does not know how to service hot tubs. I am out thousands of dollars in winterization and leak fixes and nothing is fixed. They just keep charging me more money even though my tub isn't fixed. The best they could do? "We'll give you a good deal on a new hot tub!" HA. I love my new tub! I worked with Tracy Cady who was excellent at determining my needs and matching me with a great tub that would meet those. She was able to get me quick delivery of the tub, despite COVID delays and helped to facilitate all the delivery. In addition to Tracy, Willis Rebik was absolutely incredible. My delivery was complex and required several site visits and a forklift. He interviewed companies to get me a competitive price and made sure everything ran smoothly by being present at the time of delivery. He was super communicative and always showed up exactly on time. Bobby was there with his crew on delivery and they couldn't have been a more positive and upbeat group of guys. Despite my complex rooftop situation, they all had a can do attitude. Honestly, I've never seen a crew smile so much. So pleasant! I highly recommend getting a spa here because they really "hold your hand" through the process. The tub is gorgeous and they gave me a full lesson on how to treat it when it arrived. They make you feel like you're their top priority. It was all a wonderful experience for me! read more

Five years ago when we purchased our "top of the line" hot tub that so and so has in her backyard, this would have been a five star review. Fast forward 5+ years, we were contacted for a maintenance check before our warranty ran out, everything checked out fine but then.....warranty expired. Control panel has water in it ($300) and now a mysterious leak that can't be located after countless service calls. Our hot tub has been inoperable for 5 months. We're told the only way to fix the leak is to have the hot tub transferred to their office but that can't happen until spring. I've tried contacting them multiple times to schedule the transfer and fix but nothing. I'm sure they're trying to drive another sale but after a wasted $15k, we'll never do business with them again. Bought a new hot tub in November 2018 from these guys. The tub has been down more than it has been up in that time. They take forever getting service providers to my house and the problem never gets fixed. We have had a tub that doesn't work for months. We were told we need to replace a cell that costs $800. We did that. It did not solve the problem. So now I have a very expensive tub that still doesn't work and I'm out another $800. Stay away from IHT. Update 2/21/20: As a result of this review, IHT sent a tech out much faster than they have historically. Our issue seems to be resolved for the moment, and we hope to be able to use this tub without problems. We were given the wrong guidance when the other IHT tech told us to buy the $800 part. Thankfully the tech who came out this week returned that part for us. I'm glad we got service and only wish it hadn't taken a poor review for that to happen. read more

We purchased our hot tub approx. 3 years ago. Sales team did a great job explaining pros/cons of each hot tub to find one that best fits our needs. We've had no problems until now. After 2 weeks of the hot tub being too hot (105*) even though the temp is set at 98*, I decided to call to see if the service rep could troubleshoot. I was basically told to pull up the manual and troubleshoot for myself. Not sure what the point of "Customer Service" is.... a recording could have given me the same info. read more

I bought a new Grandee in 2015. It's their top of the line model. This was my 3rd one from IHT. Like the others, the back massagers didn't make it past the first 6 months. They are happy to charge you to install new ones. Then the leaks began. They finally got so bad that I could not keep up. They brought it into their repair facility for a couple of grand, and the leaks were never repaired. They offered to bring it back for another 3000 dollars, but I'd had enough. They'd never fixed the leaks in the first place. When I complained about buying a lemon they offered to buy my tub for 3000 and sell me a new one at the discounted rate of 18,000. No chance. I bought a new Wind River top of the line for less money and love it. IHT should be ANS. Absolutely No Service after the sale. Never again! read more

Would highly recommend using international hot tub company over any other company! They have exceptional customer service and were super helpful from start to finish of the sale. Ricky and Kim were very helpful and professional! They made buying a hot tub super easy and have the best deals! We used the electrician they recommended. Jerry, was also super helpful and was able to explain in detail what we needed to know and how to set it up. The delivery guys who brought our tub were awesome! They brought it in with no problem at all and made sure to ask us prior to setting it up where exactly we wanted to have it. Stay away! I have had issues since day 1 back when I purchased it in 2015. Called to let them know it wasn't working right. I had a salt water version and had to use so many chemicals. Kept calling and finally in 2017 they came out. And low and behold, the master board was indeed bad. Couple years passed and the salt water system stopped working. Learned that the ion tube has to be replaced every 3 years at $760 a pop. No one told me that at point of purchase. Another surprise. So I disconnected it and it's worked . Until the pump went out. Eh. It's a maintenance item. I get it. I call to get it repaired. Send pics of pump. Guy shows up. does not have pump. Charges me $189 for visit and did nothing. What service? Does absolutely nothing and dosent have pump. I have to rescheduled! WTF!! I also have a claim to fix the acrylic that cracked but they can't come till next year cause it's under warranty. this year if I pay up front. Never again. And the people are rude. Customer service really sucks. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a hot tub in the backyard. We were first time shoppers, and didn't really know what our options were. Andy Rhoades at IHT took the time to explain the different models to us, and the benefits of owning a pre-owned hot tub. He searched their inventory to find us the best used model he had. We all traveled together to the store to see it, and he answered all of our questions (sometimes more than once). We took a few days to decide, and then ultimately purchased the used tub he recommended. Whenever we had questions about the hot tubs we were considering, the warranty, the install, the required electrical hook ups - Andy was consistently and readily available whenever we needed him. The delivery was on time and the crew gave us instructions on how to fill it and take care of it. We've been really happy with the tub, and it is glorious to relax in. Do not purchase from this company! They provide the worst customer service I have experienced in years. After waiting 5 months for our tub it did not come with the stand for the tub cover and our new tub is for a short term rental. We would have waited to install the tub until we had all the parts but they neglected to inform us it was missing the stand cover. They were so rude to us over this issue which we are understandably frustrated by since we will have 15 different set of guests move through with no place to safely put the cover down for 6-8 weeks. They went out of their way to be rude with zero understanding of why this is an issue in our situation. Multiple members of their "team" went out of their way to be rude. Now they are refusing to come pick up the old tub too. They are claiming we cancelled the pick up?? How ridiculous and if they thought we cancelled then why can they not pick up the tub when we corrected them that we did not cancel the pickup .... wait for it .. they said "too bad". Yep- after being treated rudely over their mistake now they won't even perform their obligation to pick up the old hot tub. Nor did they deliver the new tub- we had to pick it up. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in years. I would not purchase anything from them. Sadly, we have 2 other friends that just bought a tub from them after we referred them and we are calling both of them today telling them they should cancel their orders and purchase from a company that offers even the most basic customer service without being rude. I would not purchase anything from this company since you will be supporting a company that prides itself on treating customers rudely with zero understanding should you have any kind of an issue. I've waited a while to post this after buying our hot tub at IHT, just to make sure everything went smoothly. We've now owned our hot tub for about 2 months, and everything is going very well. The reason we chose to buy from IHT was mainly because of their sales person we worked with, Tracy. She was extremely informative and could answer all the questions we threw at her. When we asked about other brands and models they didn't carry, she still had information on them and could give us pros and cons of them. My husband is an Engineer and so her ability to give us information on the various types of motors and what makes them work, along with specific information on filtration systems, was extremely helpful to him in particular. And there was never any pressure at all from her - there were no "if you buy today we'll take such and such off" offers. She let us walk out the door without hassling us, and we came back probably 3-4 times and tried out some of the tubs before we bought one. All of that was very different from any of the other hot tub places we visited - there was an extreme lack of knowledge on any of their products, plus they would often try to "hard sell" us. Also, I felt very confident that should we have any issues at all, they would be there to help. So far that has been proven true. We have extremely hard water because it comes from a well, so we had a very difficult time getting it into the proper ranges that were recommended by the hot tub manufacturer (PH levels, alkaline, hardness, etc). Tracy immediately supplied us with a water softener pillow, which usually takes care of the problem. When that didn't work, they sent their "water expert", Willis, out to our house - and he was a tremendous help as well, and extremely friendly and nice. He left us with a few supplies as well that helped - all at no extra charge to us. We felt like they just truly wanted us to be happy with our purchase. It did take us a while to get our water in the correct ranges, but that was our problem, not theirs. Yet still, they were more than willing to help us get it there. They never left us hanging, and I still feel if we have any issues with the tub at all, that we can call them and they will be there for us. read more

We bought a Vanguard salt hot tub about 8 years ago and had problems with it early on. First it was a jet, then things started falling off, needing replacement and then it started to leak. It was a small leak and we contacted service department. Every time they came out we were given a different story about the possible problem and charged, because of course past the warranty period but none of the fixes, some of them quite expense, fixed the leak. Finally the option was for us to pay them $500 to pick it up and take it back to their shop, fix the problem and charge us whatever for that, return to us for another $500. One of the service techs said that this particular year and model was the problem and had always been a problem for leaks plus did not provide easy access to be able to repair it. My husband loved the hot tub and took such good care of it but it didn't matter in the end. IHT eventually picked it up and hauled it away giving us $1000 (coincidentally the price of the most recent "repair" for a hot tub that cost us a fortunate to buy and maintain. Everyone we dealt with was super nice but not helpful and we feel ripped off. The silver lining is that we learned a lot about hot tubs and hot tub companies. read more

We have had it 6 days and have been in it 8 times :) Jessie and Willis were fantastic when helping us pick what we wanted and answered every question we had. Kim then communicated with us regularly about scheduling our delivery and coordinating the electrician (who was also wonderful). That's so rare to get reminder calls!
