This is the second time we've been here. It's hard to find the first time because it's tucked inside of a shopping center corner. When it comes to the size of the brewery, it's comfortable and has room to move around. There is an indoor taproom as well as an outdoor patio. The patio is a good size and there are fire pits during the cooler nights. For entertainment, there is shuffleboard, pinball machines, a wide variety of board games and a little gift shop area. They have a good sized screen for sports games and they are very kid friendly. They have clean restrooms and changing tables. For drinks and menus, they have many different beer choices, a selection of wine, visiting taps, and a few non alcoholic options such as sodas. They also offer good snacks such as pizzas, salsa platters, pretzels, burritos, chips, and kids snacks like goldfish, chips and Nutella snacks. Everything is reasonably priced and we do recommend this great spot to those with and without little ones. read more

I loved the beers! So many unique ones and variety. My favorite was a Black Rye ipa. So different but delicious. There's pinball and you can order food or snacks. The pizza was great, small but the flavor and crust was yummy. They had football on and lots of seating. They were stringent about masks when not seated at your table. They also allow puppos! Bring your friends with, furry or not, as well as your kids. read more

My two favorites right now are the Tramps Like Us and the dark Czech lager (can't remember the name). Super nice wait staff, super chill place with tons of spacious seating. We go there all the time. This brewery is chaotic. Mandy the owner shows little regard for her staff and often shifts the blame onto those who are trying to assist her. Being associated with her inevitably leads to frustration, making it better to seek your time spent elsewhere. ***TL;DR Summary: beer so-so with a good atmosphere: one worker is a total powertripping shoobie though and ruins the vibe. I would go to other local spot to avoid them*** I liked intersect until today. Skinny tall guy with long blonde hair and glasses was very unprofessional. I walked behind the bar wrongly to give trivia answers to a worker across the bar and instead of telling me immediately he waited until I returned to the other side of the bar (after maybe 5-10 minutes - why would he wait?) . He then raised his voice and scolded me repeatedly even though I was very receptive and immediately sorry upon returning. This is Borderline insane and insecure behavior for a business owner/hourly manager?. Many patrons were visibly surprised by his insanely paranoid/delayed behavior and felt uncomfortable by his pitiful display of attempted manliness/power? Being obviously much larger I understood his desire for one chance of power (see Stanford Prison Experiment) and I was very nice, professional, and tipped well. I am happy with myself for my patience with him but he needs to be fired or at least trained better for this business to succeed. I have spent many peaceful nights and money at intersect (on records AND beer) and I am disappointed to be treated so poorly. Everyone else was very nice working - I think he just forgot to take his medicine today. Also side note: he wasn't even behind the bar and never stated he even worked there. Doing the Rona right! Appreciated the bartender requesting a person who walked by with their mask hanging off their ear to put the mask back on. All the beers were really good- my husband and I mostly stick with the light or sour beers, and tried the majority of the menu. The hard seltzer and the guava sour were standouts, for sure. Loved the decor, which was musically themed, and the pinball machines looked fun and really added to the atmosphere. Felt a little cheated that it was located in a strip mall after looking at the amazing pictures of their beer on location at various lakes and hikes around the area! Overall, an excellent choice to get beer in Ft Collins after a hike. read more

What a great location for a brewery! I love that this brewery is close to a neighborhood and has a true family feel. I've been here on several occasions and I've always enjoyed my visit. I especially like the open space with a nice outdoor patio area. You will likely find several kids in and around the brewery because it was designed for adults to bring their little ones in...so cool! There are regular beers on tap that I consistently see every time I come, and there is always something new as well. The beer is solid and I never leave feeling disappointed. They host weekly trivia at this location and always seem to be busy when I've come in the evenings. One of the things I look for in breweries these days is a neighborhood feel, and Intersect Brewing absolutely has this. I will continue to come to Intersect regardless of how I feel about the beer because I feel like it's one of my places. Great job! read more

One of the best breweries in town. I live in the neighborhood and have been coming here for years now. I've always had a great experience, and to raise anything otherwise would be super nit-picky, so I just won't. Their brews are wide-ranging, and I've tried most of them. I haven't had any I don't like. (But I don't like any sours, so can't speak for those.) The staff are always on-point in my experience... communicative, professional, courteous and kind. I love that they sell vinyl, and that they have an indoor and awesome outdoor area. I love that they're dog-friendly and that I can safely bring my kids here--which I do sometimes after school. Quite an IPA centric beer menu. Beers we tried were kind of average on the taste profile. Their 20oz pours are $1 more than 16oz, so a decent choice to get 25% more for just a buck. The service was lackluster to say the least. Definitely not aiming to earn a tip. I got the impression the staffs limited conversation among themselves was more important than serving me and my wife. Even when answering a question about how much our two beers were, I got blanked to respond to a colleague and my answer came 3 minutes later. My wife and I looked at each other dumbfounded. Still battling an awful hangover from the previous day, I am sad that I couldn't fully appreciate my visit to Intersect. The space itself is large and open as is the outdoor patio area. The beertenders were friendly and helpful. The only beer I tried was the West End pale ale as I couldn't handle anything else at the time, but it was a delicious, malty ale that went down easy. I wish could have tried other styles but that's my own fault. Intersect is a great place to unwind in FoCo that's both kid and dog friendly. I'm not a fan of kids in breweries/taprooms (can't the adults have ONE place for themselves?) but whatever, I'm getting used to it. Intersect isn't bad. Intersect Brewing was a brewery that opened since I lasted visited Fort Collins so in that regard it's new to me. The taproom is pretty large and able to take in quite a few customers and the equally large patio is able to take even more! At this brewery I got the Milk Chocolate Stout which was decent. It wasn't quite as memorable as some of the other beers that I came across on my brewery hopping journey but it was ok! So excited to have this in the neighborhood!! I have tried 6 of their beers and thought they were all good! The raspberry and chocolate stout were my two favorites. It is the most family friendly brewery I have ever been to! They have two play areas for kids (indoor and out) and have a lot of games to play as well. My kids love coming here.... So it's a win/win in my book. They only have few snacks and other drinks for sale. I do hope as they grow, they will have a bigger selection or get food trucks to start coming. Location is good, set up is good... have very cool decor inside and some good food trucks. I was not a fan of their beers. My husband and I had four kinds and we both found them to be unappealing. I will say they should have a better policy regarding children and pets.. while I am a mother, dog owner and beer lover I found it off putting that there were children running and screaming while we were attempting to have a beer. It's cool they have a nice spot for kids so that parents can hang out and enjoy themselves but for crying out loud people WATCH your kids!! Pets for that matter too. I think they need to reevaluate their animals inside when kids are running and screaming and dogs are taking a crap on the floor and the staff have to clean it up! I found the whole thing unsettling.. make the dogs stay on their giant patio it makes sense... make parents understand that your children running and screaming and not being watched is not cool. I saw three kids who nearly collided with patrons and more that were put hanging on the pillars with no parents in sight! The chocolate Stout was more of a coffee and the IPAs were... real bitter and left bad garlic and onion after tastes. If you are an adult looking for a nice taproom experience and some very good beer to try, especially for a new brewery, go on a weekday. The place is very dog and kid friendly and there is plenty of room for both to coexist. I went here on a Friday afternoon and the place was crawling with housewives and kids, which is a little weird but I guess that's their angle.
