I've gone to another junk yard, and it can be a hit or miss b/c their selection is definitely "smaller" and there's no real accountability on their items. 2) It's organized like I said earlier. There are rows of neatly stacked up cars sectioned off by import or domestic cars. 3) Every car sits about 2 to 3 feet high so you don't need to jack up the car. If you needed to get the springs or shocks for example, it's as easy as it will ever be. Trust me. Lastly, the parking lot is immaculate. Seriously, immaculate. Plus when you walk in, it feels like an Advance Auto Part store with two cashier like registries on the right side (one to check for parts and the second to check your tools and pay the $2 entry fee). And yes, the entry fee is worth it for $2 (and I'm super cheap). BTW, when you do check out, the other side of the check-in point has the actual cash register (i.e. 3 of these) to allow you to pay for their items. Just to illustrate how popular they are, when I arrived on a Wednesday morning about 9:30am, there were 4 sets of people in line with a few others already inside their massively organized "junk" yard. Good stuff. So....bring your tools b/c you'll pull the part yourself so that you can enjoy the plethora of "goods."

Simply due to being a woman and not being taken seriously at any auto repair shop, I followed their suggestions and brought my '05 Ford Focus in for work. I was having serious issues with my brand new battery draining. It took me several visits to actually get the problem officially resolved--mostly due in part to the fact that the batteries I was buying from Autozone on N. Broad were all defective. I was informed "this kind of thing happens". I would say all in all it took me three different visits to R&S to rectify the matter, but I only paid once. The first two times were merely inspections that I wasn't charged for, and on the third trip I was charged for the labor to replace a deeply corroded battery lead. (The real problem!) A mere $40--in exchange for the headache I must have brought them I believe that to be fair. Also had work done here replacing a fan belt. Between the two brothers, I prefer to work with Sam. He's joyfully pleasant, upbeat and doesn't speak to you like you're some kind of retarded kid that's never operated a vehicle before. The receptionist is also very nice and really appreciates good handwriting--as she said when I handed her a personal check. "People don't spend the time these days with their penmanship. Yours is very nice." I don't care to work with Ray, who I perceive as the real-life version of Oscar the Grouch, just without the trash can which I assume is not too far away. He's grumpy, curt & generally seemingly growing tired with his work or tired with people. Either way 2 out 3 ain't bad. Quick repairs, decent pricing and informed throughout the process.

They didn't warn me they were going to charge to run codes. I asked about it, and the guy said "that's business bro, we have a sign by the door". Unprofessional move, won't be going back. I guess our definitions of good business are a bit different. Was also going to charge 135$ for an oil change. I went to Take 5 and got it done for half the price.

Little things. Well...after about 150k miles, I decided there was just enough tread to make it somewhere to get some more. But I'm a cheap-o and didn't feel like spending 400 bucks on new ones special ordered and shipped from Pluto (Or wherever they make tires...Uranus?..hehe). So I tried for used ones. Wow are those hard to find. And those I did find were still really expensive. Now my whole car is valued at 360 bucks so I can't really abide paying that much for the tires. So after checking about 20 places all over the area, I was getting ready to turn around and go back to a place that had a pair of expensive tires and just deal with it. I saw this place as I was looking for a turn-around. Just thought I'd give it a try. Not only did they have the tires, they had used ones. They installed the tires (looked new) and balanced them all in about 30 minutes. Total bill? About 75 dollars. Seriously cool guys.

I agreed to wait. I said you might want to take down that no waiting for oil change sign. He replied it was above his pay grade. Geez. Exactly 90 min later I pay and go to leave but my air conditioner was making a humming sound. I go back in and the same guy comes out to listen. Says oh its probably debris in the interior cabin filter or fan blower, we looked at it and it did have debris in the filter. Just drive it around it will go away. WTF? I said oh no, get someone out here now. The filter is just 18 months old, if there were leaves shouldnt they have shaken it out? And it wasnt making noise when I brought it in. They drove it back into the bay, cleaned it out and returned it to me. The manager, a female, spoke to me apologizing. I hope she adresses these issues. Apparently they are under new ownership in the past 3 months. Then I get home and get a text with their recommendations. 1 was that the under carriage splash guard was missing screws. Recommended replacing. Again WTF? Could you have told me and we could have addressed it? Biggest concern is that the splash guard was newly replaced early 2025. The only service I have had was an oil change here in late 2025. Why wasnt it mentioned then? Did they not rescrew them all back after the service? My last oil change there was $79, today was $96. Frustated that I have to look for a new service garage now
