We've been to Brum's a few times for oil changes and minor repairs and we're glad we did. We have found Brum's to be reliable, honest, timely, and reasonable. They have not tried to up sell anything, but at the same time informed me when (for example) I needed new rear tires. He asked where I had the front done and agreed they did good work. They are always pleasant and professional. I recommend Brum's very highly and will not go someplace else if Brum's can do the work!

Sean from Brums was so patient, and helped with multiple requests from BMW to have the repair retroactively covered. This was months after the fact, and I'm not sure many repair shops would have taken so much time to help. If my car needs service, this is where it will continue to go!

Me and the owner discussed the work that was going to be done to it, and he told me $400-500 to install the manifold and cat back exhaust. he also told me for it to pass inspection it needed a rear parking brake adjustment that was going to cost $165 so I told him to also do the brake adjustment to pass inspection. I got a text from owner telling me my vehicle was all set, so I went to pick it up and got hit with a $1000 bill for the work. a year later i went somewhere else for the sticker and they told me I needed a rear parking brake adjustment to get a sticker, or they would fail it. I ended up doing the rear parking brake adjustment myself same day and got the sticker.

Why the difference between $96.95 and $144.26, to say nothing of the additional $5.76 charged to my credit card? 1. My car took 6 quarts of oil and they charge extra for more than 5 quarts. What car takes less than 5 quarts of oil? 2. A charge of $30 for the oil filter. Since when is an oil filter not included in the cost of an oil change? I have been driving for nearly 60 years and have had my oil changed dozens of times. Never have I been charged extra for the filter. It's part and parcel of the oil change. It's like shopping for groceries and getting charged for use of the shopping cart. 3. I have no idea why my card was charged an additional $5.76, which I didn't learn about until after I got home. Good business is built on trust. This place can't be trusted. On the other hand, if you're fond of being deceived and getting ripped off, I highly recommend Tom's Repair. He went back and they refused to check it again. So he had to go to another shop to fix it. 3. 3rd vechicle- my sisters chevy trax. They over tightened oil filter cap. While trying to do a simple oil change that I have done thousands time. Filter cap had had a slight crack on top of cap where a socket it used to remove cap because of over tightening. Attempted to remove it by unscrewing the cap counter clock wise. The cap was fused to the housing and cracked more while trying to turn it. For principle perposes I had them fix it. I was getting no where with it. Especially after the other incidentes with my car and my nephew's. It was a matter of principle. They turned around and said I tried to remove the entire filter housing completely which was a complete lie/a fabrication of the truth. It was a issue with over tightening the cap then not claiming responsibility or being liable for it. They did get it out and flushed it out with two oil changes, which I paid for. Do to debri from the broken cap. But to fabricate a story that I was trying to move the complete housing is dishonest and the other two incidences,I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Mind you, they can't explain what these "shop fees" entail, but insist that you agreed to pay them (up to $35) bc it's somewhere in the small print you signed. I like a cheap deal as much as the next guy, but next time I'll choose a mechanic that is honest about the cost up front. Surprises are no fun when it comes to having your car serviced. The only guarantee you get with Goodyear is that they're going to try to upsell you on things you don't need, and that your bill will have sneaky extra charges added to it last minute.

I had an issue where my drive belt became frayed. I had it towed to this Goodyear and they fixed it. About 2.5 weeks later the belt became fully loose. Had to have it towed back there. They had it a a week and then called me to get it. I was able to drive it back home, but when I went to start it the next day, the belt came all the way off as soon as I started it. I brought it to another business and they said Goodyear had strippped one of the main bolts for the drive belt/pulley, and that it was going to be a VERY expensive fix as the engine had to be moved. Obviously I have to recommend that everyone should stay away from bringing their car to this business.

I was brought over to a desk (service advisor) asked some questions and he want out to the car. Came back in and told me i was due for oil change and tire rotation. (up sell) I advised I had recently got tires and wanted an oil change and showed him the coupon. All good, an hour plus went by. I was standing inside the service area and asked if the car was ready for I just needed an oil change. Just then a service person drove in, I noticed he did not have any plastic with him and saw how dirty he was. I protested the cost of the oil change $80. said I had a coupon for $69. well thats without service fee, shop fee, hazmat fee. So a $69 oil change is $80. Went out to car and left because I was not happy. got home and noticed front drivers seat was dirty. I had just had it cleaned mind you. Also I checked the Transmission fluid and was down a quart. So much for topping off all fluids, I wouldn't have minded paying for a quart. Text the service advisor about the seats and haven't heard back. Would not recommend the service department at all.
