My interstate battery exploded like a bomb in the middle of the night. Damaged parts of my RV and soaked the entire engine compartment with acid I am an older, struggling military veteran. The explosion woke me up in the middle of the night and gave me flashbacks to my military service. The company won't repair the parts of my RV that I live in. I told them I would be satisfied if they just replaced the three batteries in my RV, but they declined. Is there a lawyer who would like to represent me in this case pro bono? I don't understand why their customer service representative and Claims representative wouldn't just buy me three new batteries rather than forcing me to go to court. Today, I went to return the old battery to get a $20.00 refund as they so proudly advertise. However, they were not amenable to that. They proceeded to tell me I didnt buy it there and that they had no record. Well, I bought it there and told them to look it up again. Thats when the big portly man came out and belittled me. Told me to leave, that there was no record that they had looked it up 3 times already. I had to stand my ground and tell them to keep looking, I gave them the exact date and they found it finally. That particular store is run by some very unprofessional and incompetent people. Im thinking of calling corporate because they obviously dont care about the business. Beware, and know to bring your receipt. They do not like to pay out the return of the core, so be vigilant. read more

Went looking for a trickle charger for my ride. Was recommended here by family and made a call to see what the protocol is during the Rona. They have a small tent outdoors with store reps there asking what you're looking for. Upon arriving I was given 5 different choices to choose from ranging from cheapest to most expensive. I asked which charger they would recommend and they pointed to the second most expensive charger and gave their reasoning why that one was a good brand. I know at times if you go with a cheap option it can give you the results you're not looking for. Along with that, the store gave a 1 year warranty for it on top of the 3 year warranty that the product already comes with. The good news is that Interstate All Battery Center carries BMW batteries so that I don't have to give up my first born or arm and a leg to the BMW dealership, the bad news is that they do not install BMW batteries...#fail. I purchased my battery, checked in like a good yelper should do and see that they offer a discount with a check in, however what their "fine" print doesn't tell you but rather I had to hear it from an employee is that you don't get your discount upon the first purchase but rather your second and you have to buy something that is $29.00 or more...grrr! They also mention that they will refund you for $16.00 recycling fee when you bring your old battery back. Unfortunately when I went back on a (Saturday) no less the entire store was closed due to some sort of all company meeting...really on a Saturday? *sigh* Note: They will test your old battery to ensure that you actually do need a new one, however the employee who helped me couldn't find my battery...#fail LOL um...hello it's located in the trunk...far right...duh! lol read more

Brought my batteries for load test and it turned out that my 2020 batteries were bad. So I replaced them at a cost of about $650 and I figured that I would take the load test info that they were going to email to me and forward it to my rv manufacturer and get reimbursed. Will they have been telling me for 2 weeks now that their internet is down. So I guess I am out $650. Great product but bad customer service and this was the manager that did this. Called ahead of time to see if they had a battery in stock that would fit my vehicle. They did and I asked if they could install it that day if I came in. The person I spoke with said as long as I arrive by 4pm no problem. It was raining pretty hard so I asked if weather would be an issue. Again, no problem, as he said they do the install in a covered space. Great, I tell him I am on my way and will reach there before 4. I left as soon as I got off the phone, arrived at 3:56, and the person behind the counter proceeds to tell me I needed to come by 3:45 and they don't do installs when it's raining. Then they say I can buy the battery from them and get it installed elsewhere if I wanted. Um, no thank you. I called ahead of time so I didn't need to waste an hour driving there and back for no reason. Definitely not coming back here again. Very pleased with this place. Usually go to Walmart Auto shop to get new batteries, but they are closed due to the pandemic. Nice, clean shop and everyone friendly, efficient, and helpful, starting with Walter on the initial phone call (except he said my Yelp review would get me $15 off my bill, but it was only $10). Caesar said it would only take 5 mins to put in the new battery, but one clamp was stuck, so he worked on it 20 mins to cut it off and fix it, all in the initial price estimate. He was very efficient, courteous, and kept me up-to-date on what was happening.
