Secured the discount at the store when I got the battery installed. They did not give me my core deposit back. Even after I said something about it. The guy gaslit me saying that's what he did when he had me run my card was give me a refund on my credit card for the discount and core charge.. so I was like "whatever your math doesn't add up, but $22 isn't gonna break me so I just left. I got home and did the math again on a calculator.. and sure enough I was right. I was exactly $22 over what it should have been. A sign said…read morethey're closed (possibly for renovation, possibly for good?), and directed me to their sister location, Northwest Battery Supply, a few blocks east. The staff at NW Battery couldn't have been more helpful. They ran tests to see how much of a charge my battery would take, and ultimately gave me a loaner while they put my battery on a more industrial strength charger overnight. I'm happy to say that they fixed my problem, and that they stand behind their products. I got great advice for maintaining the life of my battery, and I'm happy to have these folks serving SE Portland.

Walking in to a nice shop was helpful. The car battery comes with a 2 year warranty where if it won't take a charge anymore, they'll swap it. I put the battery in myself, and the core charge was easily refunded to any card you'd like. The gentleman that helped me was nice, and offered to carry the battery out for me. They also gave me access to wash my hands since I did the battery swap in the lot. I WILL use them again for fair priced batteries, car key copying, and phone repairs in the future.
