Worst customer service ever. Hope you don't get tim from service. He refused to talk to me and wanted me to come in to location. After i waited he finally talked to me to tell me i was screwed basically laughing and condesending to me. I asked so "if i would have come in would it have been different?" He said no. I had a engine light problem and a rattling sound that occurred every time I would accelerate. I initially took to my car a 2017 Mustang GT Fastback to BeauTownsend Ford, where I purchased it and it's now paid in full. I don't have a clue as to why I was treated so poorly at this particular visit, but I was. I explained my problem to the Service Department and they took my car and I assumed they diagnosed it to determine what issues I was experiencing. The Service Department manager told me they addressed the engine light and it was no longer turned on. I was then informed the "rattling sound" was a characteristic of the Ford 5.0 engine, and nothing could be done to correct it. My 2017 Mustang GT Fastback has less than 34,000 miles and I couldn't understand how or why this problem couldn't be fixed, but what bothered me the most was the lack of interest or compassion the Service Department displayed in finding a way to fix my problem. I left disappointed, frustrated and angry. I felt I had a good relationship with the Service Department and really didn't understand why they were being "short" with me. I left and went and thought I would research the issue on the internet. Numerous suggestions were made about the "rattling sound" and I was tempted to try one of them. I decided I wouldn't experiment with something as serious as the engine for fear it would ruin the warranty on the engine. So I sought a 2nd opinion and went to Interstate Ford. I met their Fleet & Commercial Advisor, Shaun Paulo's. He was friendly and professional and listened to my problems and accepted my car for diagnosis. He didn't have a rental car for me initially, but had one available for me a few days later; he did arrange for a courtesy shuttle to take me home. His diagnosis indicated my manifold needed to be replaced, so I agreed to have the part replaced which took a few days yo arrive. What impressed me was Shaun Paulos, keeping me updated about the status of the arrival of the manifold. It finally arrived, my car was put back together and it was ready for me to pick up. My first question to Shaun was, did the "rattling sound" stop and he informed me technician that worked on my car didn't hear anything. I accepted delivery and drove the car home, and the "rattling sound" was still present. I contacted Interstate Ford, and explained to Shaun the "rattling sound" was not corrected and he had me stop by so the technician could look into it. We went on a test drive, and as soon as the noise was present I pointed it to him, he heard it and wiggled my shift knob, as I have a 6 speed manual transmission. He said the problem was not with the Ford 5.0 engine, but that the shift knob was loose and needed to be tightened. I bought an aftermarket shift knob, that the Service Department at BeauTownsend Ford installed. I did notice some resentment when I asked the Service Department to install this shift knob for me, and it wasn't aligned properly which they pointed out, but I accepted it anyway. It turned out, the shift knob was not properly installed and some screws were loose inside. The technician at Interstate Ford, corrected the problem, realigned the shift knob properly, tightened everything up and the "rattling sound was gone. The "rattling sound" problem was NOT a characteristic flaw of the Ford 5.0 engine, but poor installation to the aftermarket shift knob, I asked the Service Department at BeauTownsend Ford to install. I've lost faith and trust with BeauTownsend Service Department, after misleading me about their diagnosis. I decided, I simply won't return to BeauTownsend Ford, for any future maintenance issues, for fear of my 2017 Mustang GT Fastback could be sabotaged as payback for any potential repairs. Thankfully, Interstate Ford was willing to address my concerns and fixed everything I needed repaired. The men & women at Interstate Ford were friendly, courteous and professional and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. But the professionalism of Shaun Paulo's and his staff, made this experience a pleasant one, and I'm extremely grateful and appreciative for their dedication to customer service and towards my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Interstate Ford, for any problem you might have with your Ford vehicle(s). On a scale of 1-10, I'd give them a eleven (11), as they will have earned my respect and trust, concerning any work needed for my 2017 Mustang GT Fastback. The sales women gave me the worst information, said to come in and test drive fall in love with the car and then do financing. No first I need to know financing options and what the payment amount would be before I waste my time coming in... they encourage people to make stupid financial decisions buyer beware! there are other more trust worthy dealerships. read more

I bought a truck here and I got a bed liner with it. It wasn't installed until after I bought the truck. I took the truck back 2 weeks later a they installed it. They said the liner was $499 and when I looked it up it was $215 at Walmart. It has huge holes in it for the cargo hooks inside the bed. The dealership was too cheap to throw in the covers for the holes, which will get mulch and dirt in it when I get a yard of soil. read more

I went with my exwife to help her buy a vehicle she had looked at a few days before. Thomas her sales person was great. He was so helpful and friendly. We arrived in the evening a couple hours before closing. The reason for not giving more stars is the negotiating process. The dealer had friends and family pricing, so we didn't ask for a price reduction off asking price. She wanted a fair price for her trade , a full tank of gas, and 3 free oil changes. You would have thought a free tank of gas was a $1,000.00. Why would you have anyone leave without a full tank of gas ?? She was asked to choose between the gas or the oil changes? So many dealers today fill the tank and give free oil changes for life! As I'm sure everyone does today, we researched the trade in value of the car. Only when she said she was leaving did they agree to the price she asked for in the beginning. But that's after 30 minutes of back and forth that leaves you feeling less than happy about the new car you're buying. She is so happy with her new car. Thomas stayed after closing to go over the features of the car. Interstate Ford needs to find a way to join other dealers in rewarding customers for purchasing new cars, not forcing them to beg for a few items that others include and they should!!!! I had my work vehicle delivered here by ARI Fleet. The woman who handles this, Joanne Brewer, is not easy to speak with. My vehicle was delivered to the dealer on 12/28 and I have called 3 times. She is not willing to help and even placed me on to tell someone she threw my file on the floor because I was driving her nuts. You would think some people would be happy to have a job and all I am doing is calling to check the status of an order. Wouldn't be surprised if my work car just sits in the lot for another month, will be relieved once I pick it up and won't have to deal with Joanne again. read more

Called over the course of several days to try and get my car serviced for a transmission issue and could not get through to anyone. Left my phone number in several voicemails, never got a call back. Finally when I'm trying to drive my car and move it closer to home, I had to call for a towing service to pick it up, they took it directly to Interstate Ford. Even after that, never got a call from anyone, not even to acknowledge that my car had been received... Caught a ride to the service center, where I'm told they got my voicemails, however never noted down my number from any of my voicemails I left. I'm finally told however that my car is being serviced, and that I'm to pay for the towing services, which I'm not fine with due to the inconvenience and stress caused by the lack of communication. Ron Spitz, the Service Manager, wasn't too much help on the communication part. Might be able to work with me on part of my battery cost, which wasn't covered by warranty. Overall I'm upset with how little there seems to be an effort in getting back with their customers and not being able to readily rectify this issue or assure me of a better handle on their service. read more

The Quick Lane used to be amazing, I've used them religiously for 5 years. Something has changed over the last 6 months or so and I cannot even get a response from them. I needed an oil change, tires rotated and brakes/rotors last week but never could get anybody to call me back. I was forced to go to Midas for the front 2 brakes and just tried to call Interstate again to schedule the rears, once again, no response. I am very disappointed and confused, time to move on I guess. read more

The QuickLane service is very good, they are true to their name, and don't try to upsell you. The main service drive did a great job when I had several significant maintenance things that needed to be done, but it took FOREVER...about 6-7 hours. Fortunately I was ready for the worst and had rides worked out. Mixed bag with the salesmen...when I was legitimately looking for a car, I had a guy who was all about "what can I do to get you to buy today?" and made me kinda nervous. But when I was just curious about the C-Max last year, the salesman was very helpful and let me do a test drive even though I told him I was just curious about the car. read more

This place is an absolute joke. Save yourself a headache, wasted time, and wasted gas. Completely regret buying my car from them. They have absolutely no idea what is going on, lose your paperwork, contact you SEVERAL times a day saying they will take the car back because of the paperwork THEY LOST. If you ask one person something, they will say something completely different from the last person. No consistency at all. I had to drive back and forth several times because they can't get themselves together enough to make a somewhat smooth sale, and kept mixing up my paperwork or losing it which is extremely unprofessional. I told them multiple times to please wait until I was off work to call, text, or email me but nope that was too hard for them because I had missed calls, texts, and emails that I obviously couldn't respond to because I was still at work. I have referred friends and family to an alternate dealership to buy a used car and a few new ones where I wish I would have gone. Please DO NOT waste your time here. Right at a year ago, I bought a 2017 F350 DRW from this dealership. I worked with Lawrence Reynolds. He found me the truck we wanted within a short period of time and we bought it the next day. There were many things left unsaid at the time of purchase. I was not told that the transmission in the truck is designed to fail and did just exactly that. I was also not told that the service departments in most Ford dealerships around the country do not have anyone qualified to repair the issues this truck has had in it's first year. I have been forced to go to aftermarket shops to resolve problems which has cost me plenty out of pocket. The dealerships I have gone to blame us for using the truck as advertised of what it's supposed to be designed to do. I recently went back there and found out that they are offering a zero per cent on a 60 month after setting me up with a 5.5% loan last year. They have offered to buy the truck back under the Ohio Lemon Law, but that does nothing for me. I asked about a zero per cent refinance and got a flat NO as a response. That's the least they could have done. In any case, do not buy a Ford diesel truck expecting service from dealerships. read more

Interstate Ford is a full satisfaction dealer. They will exceed your expectations. Wouldn't go anywhere else for buying and for service.

At first I blamed the problems on the vehicle and it being a lemon that just wasn't fixable. We were having issue after issue and the problems would never get fixed. The back hatch on our transit would not open. We are a family with soon to have 4 children. Right now my wife's vehicle has been in the shop close to a half of dozen times. One time being in a different state. As we speak it has been in the shop for close to a month. The problem still is not fixed and they are requesting that my wife return the rental and get back into her non functioning transit until the part comes in and we can schedule a time to have it fixed. At this point I would believe that the manager of the dealership would have stepped in and offered the rental for longer or for us to be able to even trade on another vehicle seeing as we haven't really had a functioning vehicle from day one. The hitch is only one of a handful of problems we have had with the vehicle, but the rear hatch has only opened for a short period of time. After changing the fuse 50 times and taking it to the shop a handful of times we are still back to square one and no one has reached out to offer a helping hand. They are just trying to stick us back in a useless vehicle. read more

An oil change at Interstate Ford cost me my CAR! I had a 2013 Ford Fusion that ran like a dream...until I let Interstate Ford change my oil/filter and they didn't put oil back into the engine. I purchased my 2013 Fusion in 10/2014 with 6k miles and new car warranty. In 12/2015 I took it in for airbag/steering recall service and it began rattling. Hubby found the radio dash insert was not pushed back into place, but it still rattled from underneath. In 02/2016 it went back in for door lock recall and I requested oil/filter/tire rotation. I asked them to look into the rattle from the 12/2015 and told them about the radio dash insert being loose. They said the heat shield was in place but they fixed it. When I picked up my car, I turned the engine over and the oil warning came on immediately. I shut the car off and went back into the Service Department. I eventually found out they did not refill the oil. The mechanic stated that he drained the oil, put in 1.5 quarts oil in, and forgot to put the rest of the oil in. The mechanic was suppose to fill up my oil and give me my car. I asked for documentation, so the service writer took the mechanics statement and gave me a copy. I took my car home, drove to work the next day, and the engine began rattling loudly. I headed back to Interstate Ford...days passed with no progress. On Friday, 02/05/2016, I tried speaking with the mechanic, the service writer, the service department manager, and finally I asked to speak to Chuck George (owner of Interstate Ford). The receptionist told me that Chuck George doesn't talk to customers, that's why he has managers working for him!!!!! On 02/09/2016, the service manager (Dennis DeVer), argued with me that there couldn't be any damage because the engine was only 1.5 quarts low. During the argument, he called in the service writer (Connie) and she confirmed that the mechanic stated the car was 3 quarts low (3 + 1.5 = 4.5...not the required 5 quarts). Since the problem was not fixed, I refused to accept the car. I traded it in on a 2016 Fusion and lost almost $4,000. Thanks for the oil change and the screwing me on both my car and the purchase of a 2016 Fusion. I guess that's one way to sell new cars. read more

I took my Edge in which is still under warranty for routine oil change. Also told them I was hearing a noise in front end please check brakes and also asked that tires be rotated. After an hour or so car was finished , I was told my brake shoes still had 85% of the pads left and the tires did not need rotated. They had no answer for the noise. A week later the noise was so bad I parked the car. I called and made appointment to take in to the service bay. (4 day wait). They called and said front brakes shot need new pads and rotars. They could not explain to me how they went from 85% to shot in 100 miles. Obviously the quick lane staff lied. They did not check the brakes at all. Now I question if the oil change was even completed. The service manager was no help offered only a half hearted apology. Did nothing to make up for the extra trips to the shop arranging transportation and rides for work etc that had to be done because they failed to do their job and then LIED about what they had not done. I have always had Fords but I will drive out of state if I have to before I ever deal with Interstate again. Everyone beware they do not care about their customers only their customers money. read more
