****VEHICLE DAMAGED WHILE IN SERVICE AND INTERSTATE FORD SAYS THEY AREN'T RESPONSIBLE*** On 8/18/2026, our vehicle was in for Service of the engine and transmission at Interstate Ford located in Miamisburg. During this time, our vehicle was damaged while the was in the possession of Interstate Ford. The dealership told me they were not responsible. They informed me a tow company was dropping off a vehicle next to ours and might have damaged it. I requested a police report to be completed which stated photographic evidence obtained from the tow company contradicts Interstate Fords claim on the location of our vehicle at the time of the incident. If interstate Ford believes another party is responsible, they should repair the damage to our vehicle and go after the party they believe to be responsible instead of putting me as a customer in the position that I have to file a claim on my own insurance to get this fixed while as the time of this writing, it is still in service for the transmission repair. The the vehicle was within the possession of Interstate Ford and it is my opinion as a consumer that they should be required to return my vehicle in the same condition I dropped it off. read more

I waited two and a half months for my custom order Bronco. Unfortunately, my salesperson was off on the day of pickup, so I worked with Noah to complete the purchase. My experience with Noah and the sales manager, Thomas, was very disappointing. Noah was hostile during our discussion of an "updated quote" they presented to me at the last minute. Thomas refused to honor the documented commitments made by my original salesperson, with whom I had been working for months. The trust I had in Interstate Ford was eroded so quickly at the final stage that I felt I had no choice but to walk away from the Bronco I had customized and waited months for. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of almost three months. UPDATE: After posting this review, I spoke directly with GM Paul Nichols. Rather than addressing the concerns I raised about the way the transaction was handled, he defended his staff, told me this is how they do business, and called me condescending for asking questions about the numbers. He also said his staff agreed that I was the problem. That conversation confirmed for me that this was not an isolated issue with one employee, but a reflection of the dealership's culture and how they treat customers when a deal is questioned. read more

It's been about 4 years since interstate for replaced my Coyote GT engine with 25000 miles on it with a Coyote gen 3. Still is my word against theirs. The owner wouldn't talk to me and sent a message to take to the service manager Ron. Ron just denied it happened and refused to look into why they kept my truck for a full week to replace cam phasers. Also, refused to look into the new air intake part that was left of of the service report. DO NOT USE INTERSTATE FORD! Scheduled a 7:35am appointment for oil change & tire rotation. At 10:30am, I called to see if my car was ready even though they were supposed to call me. Went back to service dept. and was told they hadn't started it yet. Three hours after my appointment and had not started the work. Why make an appointment. Terrible service. Buyer Beware. I cannot over exaggerate the nightmarish experience I've had since purchasing a used car from this place earlier this year. The Kia's engine died less than 6 months after I I purchased it. The extended warranty that the dealership game me denied the claim. A KIA dealership replaced the engine. I drive it less than a mile. It completely stopped. Now I'm being told that the alternator/ starter didn't work. Now I'm out more than 6 grand after having to purchase another car less than 7 months after buying from those folks. Salesman Jeff Weatherly told me that if "anything goes wrong with this car," to please call. Well I did. This dealership did nothing to help me. They simply didn't care. They refused to even help me pay for a rental for the 6+ weeks I had no car. They offered me no compensation for the fact that I purchased a Lemon. They did absolutely nothing to help a customer who purchased a car in good faith. I'm beyond upset. I'm angry and disappointed. As a former tv news journalist, I have seen these kinds of things happen before to others. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be in this position. Everything is fine until there's a problem. Then no one cares that you're out thousands of dollars. I still cannot believe this happened or how I was treated. Interstate: you should be ashamed of yourselves. I would never buy a used car, or any car, from you again. .You didn't honor your word. I can't even trust you to do the right thing. Dropped my car off for a recall for the engine, got my car back and the hood latch was broken, and now I have to have two new thermostats put in that they should have changed when they put the new engine in. Also they didn't clear my computer out when they put the new engine in so also now have to pay for that. So now because of their mistakes I'm out $1,700 I don't trust taking my car back to them after all I've been through with the. I will NEVER take my car to them again. The service department avoided and ignored me for a majority of the time they had my vehicle. My 2014 F150, my only mode of transportation, would not start (all of the sudden) when I got up to go to work one Tuesday morning. I took it to a shop that informed me that I had multiple communication codes, but the shop did not have the Ford software to fully diagnose or fix the issue. I then had my truck towed and dropped off at Interstate Ford Tuesday evening for an 07:30 service appointment Wednesday morning. I noted that I wanted a quote before work began and my old parts back on the intake paperwork that accompanied my key. My Ford advisor called me late Wednesday morning to locate my vehicle. After that, I kept calling to get a status and leaving messages, but it seemed as if my advisor was avoiding and ignoring me. When I did finally catch up wit my advisor, he kept telling me (over the course of 5 days) that the technician was testing every wire and it was a very arduous process. Finally, on the 7th day they had my truck, I was told there was a rodent nest and rodent damage in the battery junction box and the repair would be made the next day (I believe the nest should have been observed earlier in the process, not after a week of testing wires all day, every day as I was told). I was told that they would show me a picture of the nest and I reminded them I wanted the damaged wire harness, which he agreed to. The harness was $59 diagnostic cost was $185, but my total was $1269. My advisor did not provide the damaged harness or the evidence of a nest in the battery junction box. I truly believe I was overcharged for labor hours and still believe I was scammed by this dealership. read more

Do NOT buy a used car from this dealership!!! I repeat DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, and do NOT buy a car from the salesman named Tony. He promised me over the phone that with my credit score of 760+, he can beat an APR of +3%. Guess what, I get there, he runs my credit a million times (thanks for that, my credit score took a HUGE hit from that) and offers me ~8%. Keep in mind, I live in Nashville TN and I bought this 2013 Honda Civic SI for OVER $15,000. I drove 5+ hours each way to come and see a vehicle that was advertised with WORKING A/C - and when I got there, the AC blew hot air. I was pretty upset and demanded to speak to the service manager and was told to come back in a week and that the issue would be corrected fully. I almost didn't buy the car, this is THE ONLY REASON I DID. I promised it would be correct and it was NOT. I know a bit about cars and requested that they do an evacuate and recharge with dye and let the car sit for a week to check for leaks. They didn't do that at all - they just recharged it and sent me on my way. Additionally, I was given a 6-month warranty. Although it is a used car, you'd think the warranty would cover an issue that persisted before you even bought the car. If your warranty covers absolutely NOTHING, just advertise the car AS-IS. I wouldn't have bought it if that were the case. Fast forward, less than 2 months after buying the car....surprise, the A/C stops working. I call the dealership on 5/27/21 and am told to contact my salesperson. I call and texted ( I can't even leave a voicemail because his mailbox is full) and get no response. I call the dealership AGAIN on 6/10/21 and am transferred to the service department and told that the service manager will call me back. I never get a call back. I call again on 6/11/21 and am told that "you're taking the warranty in the wrong way. It sounds like you think it's 'bumper-to-bumper' and it's not." She then explains that the warranty company probably WON'T cover this and that it's a "used car" and I should expect this. If it had been framed to me that a $15,000 car, with a $300 car payment a month, WON'T have A/C after less than 2 months of buying, you can believe i would NOT have bought it. All in all, avoid this dealership at all costs for used cars. They are awful awful awful. Don't do it. read more

We will skip over the shady sales practices and horrible body shop for this review. The service department did a recall for me a couple of years ago on the delaminating door panel issue. Only the drivers door was bad at the time but the recall states they were supposed to be both sides done. It was reported to Ford (and they were compensated by Ford for both) . Passenger side is now really bad and obviously never repaired (no staples which is the fix) . So now I can't get it fixed unless I pay for it. There is not a single metric I can think of that I would rate them even average ! read more

Major problem with the service center, call 7-13 times a day and get ignored, not to mention the ridiculous new phone system the phone rings for 20 seconds and you go back to the computer an endless loop, I may just start going to Middletown Ford, it's farther away, and less convenient. First let me start by saying Adam Gilbert was my salesman. If it weren't for the fact that Adam was good at replying to voicemails and emails this would be a 1 star review. The average time for an ordered truck is 6-10 weeks. Thats seems very reasonable and I was literally counting the days until my truck arrived. I found a website that tracks the progress of the truck, it showed the build was done on May 21, and it provided an estimated delivery date of June 1. Awesome...Well then it got delayed till June 18. Ok fine, I ordered my truck March 18, that makes 12 weeks, I can handle that, they had the big supplier fire so that probably had an effect. Once it got within 5 days of delivery I emailed Adam to get an estimate on how long it will take them to prep it for me once they actually receive it. Adam was out of town on vacation. And so begins the time at which I finally realize my true priority level. Adam said he was on vacation and would have somebody in management look it up and get ahold of me with an update......3 days go by.....(crickets)...I call and leave a voicemail for the sales manager, 3 more days go by......(CRICKETS!!!!) So now it's the weekend and I figure just wait till Monday when it's supposed to be delivered. My dad happens to stop by in the afternoon on Monday to maybe see the truck. The LACK of a delivered truck finally prompts Adam to call me. Truck is in some shipping yard somewhere, but nobody really knows exactly what state. And oh by the way Dayton is a little over 3 hours from Dearborn Michigan which is where the truck should've been made so this is all extra frustrating. 2 days later, the Ford website updated to the 3rd "new delivery" of July 15. For those of us that don't do well at math that 15 weeks since the order was placed when the 3rd estimated delivery date is which I'm guessing will get pushed AGAIN. That means the truck has been sitting in a parking lot going on a month currently to 7 weeks at the current estimated delivery. If you order a truck through any discount program expect to be on the "eh we'll get around to it sometime" list. Because I'm pretty sure that's where they make their money back is through the slowest possible shipping method. read more

I drove almost an hour in the pouring cold rain to look and drive a car that was overpriced by KBB pricing, and offered them less. They only agreed if I used their financing even though I had cash. They handed me a #Carfax report and said it was GREAT. It was not. The car was recalled for the same issue twice so I offered $500.00 less and being money hungry in a National Crisis after risking my life to look at it, they told me no and then lied about me when I reported them to their Cinc. headquarters. This is the lowest a dealership can go to treat an essential worker this way and be so greedy to turn me down for $500.00 in a #NationalCrisis. It's Christmastime, and for a second, I almost felt like I was going to have to defend my family. This will be a different review for us. To summarize, today my wife and I were on our way to a Christmas luncheon when we were cut off by a car on 725. At first, I just thought they were in a hurry, so I switched lanes. As we passed Sycamore hospital, the car came over into my lane and cut me off again. I pulled up beside the car and the driver was smiling and flipping us off. Believe it or not, we thought it was someone we knew at first glance (we are locals), so I followed them into interstate Ford's parking lot. We ended up following them all the way to the service side. I tried to get next to the car, realized I had no idea who this person was, and the driver almost hit the side of my car. My wife rolled her window down and asked what happened and what the problem was. The driver just backed up to turn around and go to park. We turned around and stopped by the car to ask again. We just asked bluntly what happened because we had no clue what prompted this. His passenger got out the of car saying I cut the driver off, and he was getting us back. The driver with the middle finger stayed in the car. Never said two words to us. The passenger also told me that if I wanted to continue having a problem, I could get out of the car, and he'd take care of it. I even had to clarify what his intentions were. What these "gentlemen" don't realize is that a lot of people have personal defense tools on standby to address threats just like that. As a responsible and licensed owner of those type of tools, for me, that's a last resort. I let them know I'd just take it up with their leadership and already had a picture of the car. The passenger wearing his interstate ford jacket made sure to let us know that everyone inside will just laugh at me and call me a dumb ass. Realizing this guy was just looking for a fight or a negative response, I just felt like their leadership needed to be aware what just happened in their parking lot and how much worse it could have been. Whether leadership was going to laugh or not at this situation, I felt they needed to know how their company was being represented. My wife and I went inside and asked to speak to the service manager or whoever was responsible for the staff that worked the service side. No one laughed by the way, but it seemed these folks were more associated with the sales side. They were apologetic and did acknowledge that their behavior was inappropriate. However, no one took our information and I'm sure nothing will be done beyond their quick apology. Considering everyone around the area is a potential customer, you'd think management would expect their employees to treat people right, especially while wearing a damn Interstate Ford uniform. It did seem as though the staff inside rushed us out of there, but it was understandable considering they had customers in there. After this experience, I can't say we will shop or use any of Interstate Ford's services if this is how their employees handle themselves. Again, it's Christmastime, and for a second, I almost felt like I was going to have to defend my family. read more

My review is for the repair shop. I don't usually take my car to the dealer for repairs but I have a used Explorer that had recall work needed and was leaking a substance that I wasn't sure what it was. I made an appointment for two weeks out, luckily I have a second even older reliable civic. Two days before my appointment I received a text that my appointment had to be rescheduled which was frustrating since I'd made it two weeks ago, but stuff happens and they got me in two days later than the original appointment. My recallls were fixed and I learned I would need a new PTU to the tune of $2200!!!!! YIKES! But I owe a lot on this car and need it to last forever so.... I picked up the car in a decent amount of time but immediately knew that something was OFF! Bad! There was a vibration in the gas pedal and the car was making a growling sound that it hasn't before so I went right back. They had the technician ride with me so he could feel the issue. He thought initially that it was a motor mount but had to keep it to do car things with it. To their credit, they put me in a rental that they covered and were handling the situation well. Again, stuff happens, and what matters to me is how they make it right. First, they told me that it was an axle that they hadn't touched it was just bad timing but agreed to not charge labor if I paid for the part, which I feel was fair. However, some time between that text and the "pick it up" text, it turned back into the motor mount. Whatever! I don't know car things other than when I got it, it felt right again! Unorganized and overpriced. Scheduled an appointment to diagnose and fix a problem with my car. Went in at 9am to drop it off and they said my car was only scheduled for recall checks and they wouldn't have time to do the diagnosis/fix. I said that the diagnosis was the whole reason I scheduled the appointment, they said they would "work me in." I called them at 1pm to check the status, no updates. They called me 1 minute before they closed to tell me the astronomical price of what needed fixed. They made it seem like I would have been able to pick my car up same day. Nope. Still have to pay $140 just for diagnosis and now I'm stuck wondering if I should pay the additional $425 to have it fixed or just take it somewhere that doesn't suck. I guess I will have this evening to think about it. read more

I came here to pick up my new fleet vehicle. The rep handed me the car registration and it had food stains/particles that I had to scratch off - gross. They refused my request for a tank of gas (it was on empty), touch-up paint, or a snow brush (there was a big storm on the way). The poor, stingy service I received here made me feel I wasn't the least bit valued as a customer. My family has purchased 3 Ford vehicles in the past (from other dealerships) and we will certainly NOT be back to this one. Not only that, but I will advise my employer to consider fulfilling their fleet purchases elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately, the lowest I can give is a 1-star, not lower. The service department scheduler was nice, although ultimately unhelpful, but at least seemed to care. The technicians are incredibly inept and tend to lie to cover their individual inadequacies. I hated the fact I was forced to take my car back to this dealer, due to the fact only a Ford dealer can reprogram a SJB (Smart Junction Box). So, I took my 2006 Mustang to Interstate Ford after my normal mechanic told me only a Ford Dealer can replace the SJB, and I told Interstate Ford that my horn would not work when I pushed the horn button on the steering wheel, they said $115 + tax to diagnose. Their estimate to fix the problem was near $800.00 and the technician first lied (I assume trying to up the repair cost) by saying the horn was completely inoperable and it also needed replaced. When 100% the horn would sound when the locks were engaged or the Panic button on the key fob was activated when I dropped the car off. Due to the exorbitant cost, and knowing the technician had not been truthful about the horn not working, I declined the service. (Actual estimate was $741 to put in a ~$300 part that has 2-bolts and 3-electrical connectors, plus replacing a working horn with another working horn + taxes and fees). I went in and paid the $130.00 to get my car and discovered the horn no longer functioned in any capacity. I informed the Scheduler who said they could check with the technician the next day, but he had left for the evening. I made sure I let her know the horn did in fact work when I dropped the car off that morning with the key fob, just not the horn button. When they called the following day I was told the second lie from the technician, who blatantly said "it didn't work when he tried it". So, basically they said (in what can only be an amazing coincidence) the horn "must have gone the rest of the way out" between when I dropped the car off at 7:00 AM and when they started to work on it that morning. Regardless, the technician is likely incredibly lazy and obviously not afraid to lie to a customer to cover his own @$$, or (imho) has direction from the management to get the repair costs up as much as possible. This is not the first time I've been to this particular dealer and had them lie to my face about repairs or services being done that were not completed. So, in short, they charged me $130 to diagnose my car, which probably took about 15 minutes AND they made the vehicle less operable than when I dropped it off, and then lied to me about the cause. My advice, find a good mechanic you can trust (not these jokers) and if you're forced to take your car to a dealership for repairs (as Ford is want to have you do), then find someone more reputable who will actually not lie. read more

Something has gone terribly wrong with the Service Dept the past few years. They used to be so friendly, accommodating, explained everything. Now the folks are completely stressed out, never smile. I even witnessed one of the service reps literally yelling at another one, slamming down papers, and walking away. When I call to get service on my diesel truck, even the receptionist sounds crabby and harried. Tried to call the Body Shop to ask a question about a vehicle interior matter, and they didn't even answer the phone! I'll try Germain Beavercreek or Beau Townsend. Wish me luck. read more

Again we were treated so nice, with respect and concern for my needs in purchasing a new car. Um..not so much! They couldn't find my vehicle in their system, but were kind enough to allow me to set an appointment where for $60, they would get me my code, this from my hometown dealer. I retrieved my code through a YouTube video for no cost, but have lost faith in my Ford dealer! Its always the simple things that get you! Sold me a 1 y/o truck with an improperly secured skid plate / splash guard. Requested they repair/re-secure it when I went in for oil change and they zip-tied it up which only held for 3 days. Brought it to another dealer. Dealer confirmed it was not secured properly. Had to be replaced for $280 (out-of-pocket). Buy elsewhere or at least have third-party inspect prior to buying anything used from Interstate Ford. read more
