He is very professional and personable, with a soothing manner during what wa a very scary experience with Mac trucks whizziing by us on the shoulder at 70+mile / hour. First on the scene was Hawks' large semi (the size of a commercial moving van) which parked behind us and placed bright orange "warning structures" on the ground to warn the oncoming traffic to slow down becuase there was an "accident".. As a result, my elderly mother and I felt very safe and in good hands as we sat in Hawk's clean, comforatble tow truck while Mike loaded our car onto his tow truck's flat bed. Mike was especially gentle and caring in the manner in whch he helped my mother get into his clean, comfortable tow truck. We had a very nice calming chat on the way to the dealership where our car's flat tire was replaced. MIke had been at the dealership before, so he knew his way around and efficiently gave us door-to-door service. Or they don't listen. Today I spoke to Jose, owner operator of AT&W towing. He clearly identified his company and his name. Listened and clarified the type of structure my car was in. Most important? Came FAST - within 15 minutes of my call he was right outside. Brought a portable charger instead of trying to bring his truck in. A family owned business - he brought his young son with him. Nice kid. Jose was polite, professional, accommodating. Within a half hour of my call I was on the road. No problem. When I asked to take his pic he quipped "Will I be famous?" I don't know, but folks need to know a guy who is polite, fast, dependable. Family guy. Patriot. No complaints.

The service I had called was suppose to send a flatbed towing truck which George's was not. When I told him this, he very nicely informed me that I could in fact have my car towed by his truck because I have a 2 wheel drive as suppose to 4 wheel drive. He said I could trust him and that he had towed plenty of VW Beetles and never had a problem. Since I wanted to be sure, I called the dealership direct to have them confirm this. George was very understanding with my concern and waited patiently while I made the call. Sure enough, the dealership said my VW Beetle could be towed by a truck such as his. I gave him my key and he delivered my car safely and promptly to the dealership. His truck looked new and was kept clean. What I liked most about George was that even though he gave me the correct information, he understood my need as a customer to confirm that the information he provided me was true. I would use his company again in a heartbeat if I ever needed my vehicle to be towed.

A friendly male called back within about five minutes and was at my location in ten minutes! The man that arrived was so pleasant and happy with his job. He made the whole situation ten times better with his attitude and promptness. He had my vehicle out in no time. I would deff recommend. I know how to change a flat & after having crap tires on my last car, actually got very good at it…read more But I had a sinus infection & a flat tire & it was 15° out. Not a good combo. I just did a google search for something nearby & found these guys. Dispatcher warned me it might be about 45 minutes. I told them I was in a safe place because it was outside my house & not a big rush. They were there in under 15 minutes & all was said & done in about 10 minutes. The guy was very kind & worked hard. Thank goodness I called, too, as his torque wrench wouldn't even crack the bolts on my tires! Don't think I would have been able to do it on my own while being sick... let alone in 10 minutes! Unfortunately I went with Planet Towing since they were cheaper and assured me it would be less even with the 5.0 miles my car was being towed. Long story short, I got the bill and it was not $150.00. They pulled the old bait and switch on me and lied straight to my face when they said they never said $85.00. The gentelman that picked me up was nice but it is horrible to advertise one price, make a verbal agreement and then back out. I would NEVER use them again.
