We called one service center and they were unable to get to us that afternoon but recommended A Horchers Towing. A quick phone call to them and they responded that they could be there in about 25 minutes. Sounded good! Imagine my surprise when they showed up less than 10 minutes later! Hawk (the service tech) charged my cars battery, and also warned me about driving home with the auto start-stop system engaged. I didn't know how to shut it off so he also turned that off for me and showed me how to turn it off or on. Hawk was a great guy to work with and while I hope I don't need their service again I do heartily recommend them.

Yeah..that one. Called a couple of places in Schaumburg.....I wish I could remember the names..but the top two in the search I called. One was closed. The other one, I was setting something up with the lady when I called the first time. because of the area...I lost connection. After calling back..I got a fella who was effing rude. I was alittle tired, friday on the way home from work and had been sitting out there for an hour plus...so him telling me I hadn't called before (quite rudely) and after explaining to him I had been out here over an hour already...he promptly hung up on me, So sputtering...this tow truck came down the road, and I asked if he had come from the tow company I had called previously. He goes no. So...he towed me back to Chicago to the mechanic shop; and then he dropped me off home. Nice truck too...AC was a godsend. This is an additional contact number on his card..(800) 425-9060 He also does jumpstarting, lock-outs, auto repair, and accidental removal service. It also says on his card Average waiting time is 20 mins. 24 hours. Mastercard and Visa accepted. I grabbed a couple of his cards.

Why?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 04/14, bring my car in cause of maintenance light and check engine light. Omar, tech and mechanic receptionist, takes it and I let him know its probably the catalytic converter. I also told him to check out the maintenance light. Omar calls later in the day asking permission to do a diagnosis to figure out the converter's problem. I approve. Omar calls later in the day with a quote of $1600+ ​ for converter of a 4 cylinder Corolla, 2007. Unfortunately for Omar, I did pass CPS's 7th grade curriculum, so I start shopping around. I go to a different shop, and they want some info that is on the diagnostic. I call Omar up and ask questions about the diagnostic while talking to the other shop. Omar says "what's with the attitude" when I make it clear I am shopping around. He then denies me the service of Wheel - Inn (Wheel Inn) telling me "come pick up your car." Unprofessional but understandable. Like farting during a meeting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 4:30, I come to retrieve my Corolla. Omar took it upon himself to give me and charge me for an oil change. I did not ask for it, nor approve it, nor tell him the oil I want in my car. They put that dirty, substandard synthetic blend ​in my baby, violating my car (she runs on full synthetic only, I had a sticker that showed it too). He argued with me in the shop about lexical semantics. I had no time, I said ill email. I email for a partial refund. This company is not a fan of emails. They call me 3 times (once at 7:50AM , before they even open​). I ask them, 3 times, through email, to email me. They can't do it. They reimburse my purchase.
