In the medical world, it seems like the whole process is normally just a headache, especially when it comes to recovery. Dr. James and Leigh and the rest of the staff are just phenomenal. Dr. James is so well informed and great at what he does. I don't have a lot of experience with chiropractors but the service here is such top notch, I'm not interested in going to anyone else! He is so helpful with suggestions about other resources for my health and recovery, and is so attentive to my needs at any given time. They're so efficient with referrals and billing. The office is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. As he is a pain management Dr you will occasionally see a person disgruntled for various reasons (usually because they are seeking drugs or have found some small reason to be irate... most patients are in pain so I'm not trying to judge) and I'd imagine that the negative reviews here are a direct result of either of those conditions. Nerve damage like this was worse than any pinched nerves I've ever had and its still not normal. Not enough staff to handle the paperwork here. She is very knowledgable about different modalities of treatment and presents them with understanding and precision. I, recently, went to her office, but on the way, google maps took to the wrong place. I had parked my car and after walking 3 blocks, I realized I was in the wrong place. I was 10 minutes away from my appointment time. Walking is painful for me, (part of the reason I see Dr Davids) so it took me awhile to get back to my car. By that time I was 2 minutes late. I called the office to let them I was close and that I would be there soon. They told me they would see me soon. Through 2 or 3 more unfortunate actions on my part, I found my self looking for the wrong office number and was instructed by a worked to go to the next building. To make a very long story no longer, I called the office at 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment, crying, and Sandra answered the phone. She had me describe to her where I was, asked what I was wearing and said she would come get me. Soon Sandra was walking me to the office. She reassured me that everything was ok and that Dr Davids would see me soon. That was 30 minutes after my appointment time. They had accommodated my lateness by seeing patients that were already there so I could be seen when I finally arrived. She brought me water, and reassured me everything was ok. When Dr Davids came in she was so kind and gentle and she told me it had worked out and that she was glad to see me. We had a wonderful conversation and she was very through in her assessment of my needs. I felt cared for and it was such a positive experience-one I will never forget. Being an RN that has worked in the medical field, for 35 years, I know a good quality healthcare provider whan I experience one. Dr Davids and her staff are the best! I was referred to physical therapy through Spine & Nerve Diagnostic Center and saw the in-office…read morephysical therapist. My first PT visit was fine... light pressure and stretching, no real improvement but no worsening either. At my second visit, the office was not open at my scheduled appointment time. There was no check-in process or intake paperwork, and another patient was turned away due to scheduling conflicts. This session was much more intense than the first, and I left feeling sore. Over the following days, that soreness turned into acute pain that I had not experienced since before treatment. When I contacted the office for guidance, I was told to schedule a follow-up with my doctor. At that visit, I requested copies of my PT treatment notes. Initially, I was told they could only be released to my attorney. Then I was told the PT was affiliated with another office and that I'd need to contact them -- but that office had no record of me since I'd never been seen there. A front desk staff member was dismissive and unprofessional during this process, even discussing my request with others in a way that I could overhear. After multiple attempts and delays, I finally received my records, but the process was unnecessarily difficult and raised concerns about accuracy of said records. Based on my experience with both the therapy and the administrative handling of my case, I will be seeking care elsewhere.
