Had been a long time since I had skated. Signed up for a lesson and had a lot of fun. The park is fun, good for all ability levels. Very clean and is air conditioned. The entire staff was friendly. Everyone was having fun learning and trying to get better. Griffin was my instructor, he was patient and gave me a lot of tips that will help me going forward. When my 9 year old says that it was WAY MORE FUN than he expected, this business deserves 5 stars. We went to Cornerstone, checked in with a friendly girl, and had a private lesson with Jeffrey. I cannot say enough about Jon and Intro 2 Skateboarding. My son started private lessons at 4 years old and my daughter started at 8 years old. Jon and his staff are very knowledgeable, caring and trustworthy. They definitely have your children's safety as a priority. When my kids started with Jon, they could barely balance on the board. Within a few months of lessons, they were doing their own tricks. Two years later, they are still engaged and enjoy their lessons. The intro 2 skateboarding program is an excellent program. For any parent looking for a place for their kids to learn, know these three things: 1) they care about the kids and their safety; 2) your child will learn a lot; and 3) they promote a very positive atmosphere where not just the instructors are encouraging but the kids are encouraging. For the beginner, they will hold their hands until they feel they are ready to go. Even then, they will be right there to catch them. I can't say a single thing bad about this place. Jon is an excellent skater and teacher of all ages. If you want to see him skate, check out Jon dupoian on YouTube. TJ helps Jon and is a cool guy and is great at teaching kids (I haven't seen him skate but I'm sure he's good too!). The group lessons provide a good amount of instruction and because they take turns going it gives them a second to rest up. We have put our 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son in Intro 2 Skate camps for going on 3 years now. What a blessing! This is a great way to get some exercise while having fun. My son is now doing large ramps and understands how to skate them safely! They are great with large groups, splitting them up with different instructors according to skill level so they aren't being held back as they progress. My kids have been able to skate at some amazing parks including the indoor Volcom skatepark! Jon (D33zle) is fantastic and very patient with the kids. TJ and Frankie are also excellent! They even have a girl come in for the bigger camps to help the girls! I highly recommend this camp! Safety and fun are #1 to these people! read more

My boys wanted skateboards for their 5th birthday, so we knew they also needed lessons. We scheduled lessons after Jon answered a few of my questions, and the experience has been fantastic. They have Tony as their instructor and they look forward to seeing him each week... they trust him so much, and of course think he's really cool. The coaches are amazing w kids. They love what they're doing and it shows. My son always has a blast eveytine he comes here. They teach the beginners safety first which i think is the most important in skateboading. This program was recommended to us by a friend so we tried out the summer camp. We were very pleased with the results and our son had a great time. The coaches are all amazing and definitely want the kids to learn and have a great time. We signed our son up for an after school program through another skate program and he actually regressed in his skateboarding skills.
