This was a wonderful park in the neighborhood. There's plenty of parking around the park. There's also patio tables with ample shade for you to stop by to have a picnic or enjoy some food. Nice and quiet park especially on the weekday a great place to bring your dog lots of shade playground and restroom lots of parking and shaded tables. The location is really nice because it's far away from from a busy street. they also have skateboard ramps here. However they do not have any open restrooms the week day we visited. read more

What a nice little park I stumbled upon. Sitting next to Garden Grove High School, it has a large children's play area, 2 basketball courts, a small skate park and a baseball field. Behind the park is the Garden Grove Activities center, and a separate large Children's Adventure center that kids can go play in for $2 fee. They appear to try and keep it maintained, but there's many large patches of muddy soil from the rain, and dry patches without grass. Great big community park. They have indoor & outdoor basketball courts, 2 baseball fields, 2 soccer fields. Kid playgrounds, couple picnic area where you can grill the foods. A small dog park and plenty of shades areas plus plenty of parking spots. It's located right next to HS and healthcare center. read more

I haven't been to this park since I was in high school, and it looks like it's been updated since then. My friends and I came here this weekend to play some Pokemon Go, and surprisingly, there were a lot of other people playing too! This park is a fairly large park, with a kids play area, multiple BBQ spots, a baseball field, basketball courts, a community center, and a mini water park/adventure center. There's plenty of parking, shade, and it looks like you could even pitch your own volleyball net. We stayed there for about 1.5 hours playing Pokemon Go for the community day, and got to meet some of the other cool people playing. read more

I also like going to some of the city parks in Garden Grove. This is a good community park for families and children. Its a place to walk your dogs, but not so much activity wise for adults. They have skateboard ramps for the older teenage young people. I like the park. read more

I love this park!!. It's clean and well maintained. The modernized Rocket Ship brought back nostalgia from the days when we had the metal ones. All the equipment was fun and my son had a blast playing with all the other kids. read more

Nice updated playground. Great for kids of all ages. Pathways you can walk on and bathrooms nearby. There's also plenty of parking.

Went here mostly for the playground area for my 3 year old. It has a bit of a spaceship design as you can see in posted pictures. It seems relatively newer as there's not much wear and tear evident. There's some unique features to the playground that I don't personally see in some play areas. My kid has a lot of fun here and spent a good amount of time. As far as I could see, there's a big grass area around the playground where it seems you can play sports or set up a picnic or something. There's also several picnic bench areas for a party too. read more

Attending my Mom annual high school reunion at this place, the park was nice and clean with a lot of shades, courts for multiples sports activities, plus huge parking on both sides, but Sunday wasn't ideal to book a spot where you got nothing to cover your head from the roof, other smaller area were already occupied with people from their own church groups or what not at least those roofs had shades, it seems the park is a popular spot for gathering on the weekends, but you have a large group of elderly folks maybe try to book ahead of time. read more

You have to come check out the new playground! It's being remodeled and it's looking great! (Finally) Although one play ground is done, it appears they are working on the other playground that was there. I'm sure it'll look just as great as the one there already. I do want to make note of a couple things. Even though one play ground is open, there is a swaying boat equipment that was not available for use. I'll be back next week and hopefully that is fixed by then. Also, the bathrooms near by, were closed. I'll update later. Enjoy! read more

Beware of Irresponsible dog owners at this park. The park itself is nice. But I've encountered irresponsible dog owners here. They let their dogs run loose without a leash. If the unleashed dog runs toward another dog that is leashed, the unleashed dog is considered the aggressor. It doesn't matter if the dog is small or big. The potential for dog fights or bites are there. The owner of the unleashed dog would be held responsible. It is the law to have dogs on the leash. There is a small dog park (fenced) towards the back where dogs can run unleashed. But the irresponsible dog owners think they own the whole park and everybody else has to bow down to them and their unleashed dog. read more

Garden Grove Park is a relatively quiet, nice sized park this past weekend. It's big enough to hold the annual Tet Festival AND fits the entirety of Atlantis within its borders. (Atlantis Play Center) Older gentlemen stay young by playing volleyball on one side while a younger crowd remains safely within the confines of the basketball courts. Then there are the skateboarding teens looking to fly through the air. The baseball fields were empty but looked fairly well kept. It was a pleasant mix of people on Sunday. My running partner and I took a break and stopped to say hello to a nice, elderly lady who walks to the park for exercise. I think this is my second favorite park in the Central OC area. read more

A great park to come out, enjoy, and have a good time. Its located next to the Bolsa Grande High school on Westminster Ave with plenty of parking to park. I've come here a few times already and it's pretty nice. You can come here to do anything such as: run, walk, jog, walk your dog, have a party, bbq, take driving lessons, practice sports, and any other special occasion & activities, you can do it all here. There are a few fields for baseball, soccer, and football players to have games/practices here. Overall its a great park to do any activities here. read more

Such a huge park. Nieces and nephews wanted to play on the trees like monkeys. lots of sport games going on, love that people were just laying on the grass enjoying the beautiful weather and the background noise of kids playing and parents cheering on their kids during their sports game. Park had lots of things going on but because it was so big it didn't seem over crowded at all. Need to go back during the summer and have a picnic. read more

The park's used for softball and probably soccer too. The fields are small and if you hit homeruns to left field on one of the fields, it heads out to the streets. The bathrooms are by the parking lot, but not too close to the softball fields. If I didn't play softball there, I wouldn't ever go to this park. read more

This is a nice little park next to Bolsa Grande High School. I tend to come here often to write or just relax in nature. Very clean and family friendly location. However, lots of high school students tend to wander here and they can be loud at times. Otherwise it's a decent park to have a picnic, write, read, or just stroll around with your friends and family. read more
