    Non-dairy milk options

The short: this is a great one-stop-shop for natural, organic, clean foods, experiences & products. The staff are all super nice, too! The longer: this place is totally cute. There's a cafe with some seating, a store & an area in the back for some treatments. I've enjoyed the lattes, smoothies & iced teas I've had here. They make their own milk substitutes and many of their ingredients. The drinks aren't overly sugary. The food is good, too. They have great sweet treats, smoothie bowls, and their avocado toast was tasty. One caveat: because they're thorough and making things from scratch, service takes a bit longer than other local spots. In the back there are several rooms for thermo-therapy. I did an infrared sauna today and can't wait to go back. You get a private room, towels, robe, slipper, towels, etc. and can enjoy a private 30 minute session for $45. I highly recommend this spot for high-quality everything in a chill, clean, modern environment.

Just had a two minute session in the cryogenic tank what an experience helped immediately with the inflammation in my knees. The staff there is friendly and very knowledgeable will do it again and will try the infrared sauna next time but well worth the money.

My favorite place in the city to reset and relax. Ellie is the best nurse - with fun energy, I always feel taken care of getting IV's. Couldn't recommend Clean Market enough !!

Everything you need in life. I love to have a place that is very transparent about what goes into your food. It can be pricey but I think it's totally worth it. It's a Hope you have more locations soon! If you plan on using all of their services, it's best to become a member and get a discount. Updates: Came in for the infrared treatment, staff could careless of your existence. In and out with less than 10 words from staff. I won't bother coming back.

I've only tried the float therapy here so far. The float rooms are located in the bottom floor down this very steep staircase, but inside it is nearly completely soundproof (or as soundproof as one can get in the middle of Midtown...). The experience is very relaxing, as you get a huge private room to shower and then float in. The tubs are also really big so you don't feel claustrophobic. I appreciate the amenities as well, like lotion and little packets of Vaseline to cover up cuts. You get plenty of time to shower before and after your appointment so you do not feel rushed at all. Staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They do not try to upsell you on stuff and kind of just leave you to do your own thing, which I really appreciate.

There are a variety of different sauna rooms some smaller than the others, rest areas and an area to play chess and go. What I love about this place is the 400 degree sauna that really cooks you. We stayed here for about 5 hours and went to all their saunas, we ended up getting a little hungry and ordered a meal to share plus a large bingsoo which was really refreshing and cooling to your body. I love to spend an off day enjoying some healthy food and contrast bathing. KIng Spa was definitely a uniquely Korean experience. The overall vibe is a little old school and dusty, lots of 80s looking water features with piped in birdsong. The locker rooms need an update and the gendered pool area is quite small. I would imagine if you were a gender non-conforming person this kind of place would be highly stressful. There were dirty Q-tips just tossed in a box on the counter with wax on them, there were communal combs (gross), and a lot of the areas for lounging had very beat up looking furniture. There were several ladies really pushing hip baths, it had sort of a hectic, hustle-culture vibe upon entering that was not really relaxing. However the overall vibe is cozy and the saunas themselves were the real deal, especially the ultra hot one in the basement. The food was EXCELLENT especially compared to Sojo. Real deal Korean offerings, beverages and unique snacks like sauna eggs and plenty of ice cream. I would suggest to go early and eat lunch there, then spend the rest of the afternoon snoozing, baking in the sauna or getting a chair massage. They also have a salon their that offers perms and nail service, can't speak on that but fun that it's offered. There are plenty if chess tables and places to read and scroll if that is your spa style. My main big complaint: I booked a 30 minute scrub when I entered. I soaked before the scrub as instructed, when the scrub lady came to fetch me she was rude and dismissive from start to finish. I am not talking about the usual straightforward Korean spa attitude-she was downright nasty to me. She barked orders, yelled at me for having dyed hair that bled a little onto the wet towel pillow I had to use, she pinched my skin, rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth when I asked her to repeat herself. I understand there are some different cultural expectations but I have never been so poorly treated by a spa employee before. KIng Spa, you really have to do some customer service training!

On this one, I can't say I'm convinced it does anything. Sure, the overall space is nice and 'zen'. The salt room itself, very 'pretty' with all the various white/ivory/peach/pink/coral/orange shades of the salt walls. The feeling of salt crystals under your bare feet? Nice. Relaxing chairs to sit in. But at the end of the 30 minute session, did I feel anything special beyond the fact that I just 'relaxed' in a pretty room for 30 minutes? No. Note that the salt room can also hold up to three clients at a time, which means they have the potential to charge up to $87 for three people, for just a 30-minute period. That's $174 per hour for a room that's filled with salt. Where no personal or hands-on service is provided...just clients 'sitting' in a room. I guess they also disperse 'saline aerosol' into the room while you are sitting in there. I'm not exactly sure what that is, or how it's supposed to be beneficial to you but then it begs the question...is it the saline aerosol that benefits you and/or some type of 'energy' that is supposed to come from the salt itself in the room? I don't know...I just have to wonder if this salt room thing is nothing more than an (unproved) trend that they are going to milk for all it's worth, until the next wellness trend comes along. When I first arrived and was eventually directed to the room, even though they knew it was my first time there, I was given no real direction or expectation...just told to go on in the room. (Typically you'd expect some type of introductory language...'we pipe saline aerosol into the room...this provides XYZ, etc'). I also found it odd that at the end of the 30-minute session, the woman working the desk simply came to the room and opened the door without warning. No knock, no 'bell' to let me know the session was over...just her, suddenly opening the door. (Typically at personal service places like that, they would knock on the door first, or ask if it's ok to enter, and especially considering I was in the room all alone, i.e., maybe I was in the middle of taking a weird selfie when she just opened the door?) Maybe next time I'll give the infrared sauna a try and see how that goes...but as for the salt room and just sitting in there, I don't think I'd spend my money on that again. It so happens that at the time, I was starting to feel quite sick with a bad cold. Other reviews here seemed to suggest they felt 'relief' from a cold. I felt no difference in anything, after my salt room session.

The spa floor is on the third floor of the Howard Hotel, and upon entering--you're promptly greeted by the concierge and a super lush and cooling lobby. When you check in with the clerk in the hallway, (who was super nice btw), you have the option to sign some waivers, but I save some time by signing documents on my phone on the way. The whole floor is rather zen, except for the cleaners you can hear outside your room. You're welcomed in by refreshing scents, think Byredo or OUAI. We booked the 1 hour dose for two and were promptly ushered to our private room, which included the infared sauna centered and the adjacent bathroom to it, with high quality hair products (Redken Acidic Line), Peter Thomas Roth skincare products, and a tea tree body wash. Included was a hair dryer, some face masks, and some takeaways provided by some of the sponsors they're currently working with (eye masks, etc). Staff started the timer for an hour and we were left to our own devices in the dim, soothingingly calm lighted room. You are able to play your own music if you connect to the speakers but I thought it was fun to just vibe out to their own chill techno zen-yourself-out music. I loved how the sauna experience came with some cool wet towels and face wipes, as well as a ice cool water canister in the corner to refill as you please. The sauna itself was exceptionally clean and well kept. Since I don't experience this often, I found it most tolerable when I took frequent breaks outside by walking around or just refreshing myself with the towels provided. I was piqued when the staff notified us afterwards that there's a 15% discount when you book your next spa day with them right after your appointment, and that deal can be started anytime you come in. I felt refreshed for the rest of the day, despite being in this heatwave and perusing around LES/Chinatown afterwards (which is usually rather overstimulating and sweat inducing). I'll def be back--the time passes rather slowly, and it felt like one of those little luxuries that set the pace for the rest of the day. Exceptional experience with friendly staff, upscale facility, and affordable cost.

I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I.
