She then spent hours with me, on her birthday, sitting and tying ribbons together. That moment meant more to me than I can fully express. My mom and sister live out of state, so I have been doing a lot of this on my own, and having someone step in with that kind of kindness and generosity was incredibly meaningful. I felt so cared for in a moment where I really needed it.
