INVITE is number one in the USA. Invite is simply the Rolls Royce of supplements, no exaggeration. I have been using Invite for 10+ years, their processes, sources, QA, and science behind their formulas is unmatched. They were the first to come up with the RED and GREENS (others just copied from this). If the source is not up to Invite's standards they simply do not produce and market it, until it reaches its standard. One time I visited my store in NYC, and they were out of Krill Oil, I called a few weeks later and it still was not available, I inquired as to why, they said that the founders did not approve of the source quality, therefore they would not sell it, until it reached their standard. Don't fall for the hype for the 'fruits and veggies' product you may hear on the radio, it's a marketing company that uses a scheme to mass sell a terribly sourced product with no value. Awful, just awful. My mother (88) has insisted on using InVite, as they had things she couldn't get elsewhere. In summary, we have received EXPIRED vitamins (months expired), damaged pills, and now we have been charged incorrectly for our order. Over time, we have ordered fewer and fewer items, but there is still one item she needs. Inn each of these instances, the customer service has been abysmal. No return calls or emails or responses of any kind, and if persevere and you are able to finally get through, the customer service is very rude and unhelpful. (For example, when told we received numerous EXPIRED bottles, I was told that they were still good after the expiration date.) We have come to the point that we just won't be able to order from them anymore. I came to Yelp to see if I was the only one having problems, and clearly I am not. I hope other people read these reviews and goes elsewhere; no vitamin or supplement is worth this lack of accountability and very subpar customer service. read more

You have one covered well but team has to be trained on customer service/relationship. Do you take a decades long customer and lose me the one time i raised an issue for a product thats a few dollars or give me good vibes by accommodating me and clearing up my issue. I have been a customer of invite health for over 20 years and always had an excellent in-store experience. I love their products and I will always be grateful to the store managers for their advice to wait for BOGO Sale's. The store near me closed almost two years ago so now I shop online and my experience in the beginning was good, but I recently placed an order and was sent notification of the delivery date for January 8, 2025. There was no delivery, instead I received notification that my order would arrived a week later. When I contacted customer service I was sent a message with the tracking number which indicated that the package went to Atlanta Ga. So, I call customer service to inquire about why my order was in Atlanta when the package was shipped from New York and I live in the same state. Of course they placed the responsibility on the courier to absorb themselves. I asked to speak with a manager and as usual they were not available. I felt throughly disappointed With the customer service I received today and missed the in-person experience I had for many years. This on-line customer care failed in comparison with what I'm accustomed to with invite health, and from the reviews I just read I'm wondering if the owners can sustain the business In light of the unfavorable reviews. I listen to the Saturday radio programs & find them informative & interesting. I've really been tempted to order or talk to someone who could advise me but reading some of the reviews I think not. Too many alternatives, especially where someone said Whole Foods had exact same product for $11 that Invite Health had for $50. From the customer service reviews, especially the phone orders, I'm totally turned off. Customer service for all companies pretty bad these days don't need to deal w/another. I'd love to believe Invite Health is as good as it sounds but I'm afraid it's not. I'll follow the Mediterranean Diet, choose my vitamins carefully & in person. Will certainly try Whole Foods. I dropped The Vitamin Shoppe because they actually do not offer their sale, discounts to IN PERSON shoppers which I am. Stupid move as when in the store I see other things that I wouldn't online. I have used InVite health for years and over that time I have noticed a steady decline in the online service. My most recent order contained two identical packages. One was delivered; the other is apparently lost. The "customer service" person was of no help and insisted the post office had the item even as I was looking at the USPS website that said they were still waiting for the package. No InVite supervisor was available to address the problem. If this problem is not resolved in the next 24 hours, I will have to initiate a fraud claim with the credit card company. I'm a major Invite Health supporter and listener. It's important to educate YOURSELF 1st, prior to coming in and have a general idea of what possibly needed so you at least know the direction you're going in and not be blindsided or bombarded with multiple suggestions, that will be good for you but you may not need all at once. I listen to Jerry Hickey on 1190 am WLIB almost daily at 10am or Dr. Alan Pressman. I speak with their certified nutritionist and doctors, as well as others, in addition to other research, WHILE CONSULTING my own physician. I've learned a lot & love them. Invite is a total ripoff. I usually buy probiotics at Whole Foods but not wanting to wait on the insane line I stopped in at Invite. The exact same probiotics that I buy at Whole Foods for $11 were $52 here, the only difference was this bottle had an Invite Health label on it. The ingredients and doses were all the exact same. This store sells generic products under their own label to jack up the price. If this wasn't bad enough the staff will say anything to get you to buy their products. When I asked about whether a product was derived from dairy or soy the woman said she didn't know and directed me to read the label. When I responded that there was no information on the bottle and that I was hoping for something non-dairy she responded "oh, oh yeah, uh... there's no dairy in any of our products so you should buy this one." With that, any credibility she had went out the window. What if I was allergic to dairy, took their product, and had a reaction? Come on. Stay away from this place. read more

My review is not on the products (which are of high standards) or the staff (very knowledgeable and friendly) it is about the adverse condition in the store. I often listen to Jerry's radio show as they are so informative. He clearly sold me on the Invite products being of high standards. I found going to my local store on 6th Ave and 10th Street was more than a quick shopping spree. I found that Rik, the store manager, is very knowledgeable and guides me according to my needs. But last summer and this summer I found that visiting the store is intolerable. Having "No Air Condition" makes it very uncomfortable to shop. Not only that but Rik and his staff look like wet rags because it's so damn hot in the store, Not very "InViteing"! I thought "SweatShops" in NYC were outlawed decades ago but it seems I may be wrong! More importantly, I have now questioned the quality of the products I've purchased in the store.  Do they lose potency at a certain high temperature? I can only say that it surprises me that the working conditions at the 6th Ave store are like a third world country. Jerry talks about the high standards that InVite has with their products but it seems the same standards don't apply to their employees! read more

So, infinitely better than the GNCs and Vitamin Worlds around, but they mostly only have their own brand of supplements. Complete scam. I purchased $100 worth of items. They applied a $20 discount. I did not like one of the items, so I went back days later to exchange it. The item that I selected was about $7 less. The store clerk tells me that the $20 discount has to be discounted from the item that I am returning. So instead of getting back money I would have to pay $12 more for an item that is valued less than what I originally purchased. When I asked where this is written in their policy, they said it isn't but it s there policy. That just did not make sense to me; does it make sense to you? read more

Jerry Hickey is truly an expert in his field, I try to listen to his invite health radio show as often as I can. He thoroughly explains and goes into great detail the uses of his supplements and how beneficial they can be to our bodies. This place might look like an upscale version "The Vitamin Shop" but don't let the psudo-medical trappings and posters fool you: it is just another rip off. I had stopped in to buy a supplement, one that retails in most other shops for around $15.00 in the dosage I wanted. I was immediately approached by a sales lady who first tried to sell me a bottle for $50+. Then she suggested that she could help me with my "other health issues" starting with another bottle of pills which she said would cure my hernia! Pills to cure a hernia? Or rather: phony - and possibly dangerous! - "medical advice." I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Save your money and your health: shop someplace else! read more

Went in on a Sunday. Being from out of town, I expected to get ripped off and upsold. Not only was the lady patient and knowledgable, but she educated me further on certain ways vitamins work. I recieved my vitamins a smarter man and will likely order from them on the phone or online in the future and have the vitamins sent to me in Colorado. I have been using Invite Health for a while. I love their products and the quality is really good. I've been to the Westbury location and had a consultation. The staff there took their time with me and made me feel welcome. I bought stuff for my mother who is a diabetic. They sat down, took the time and told me exactly what I needed to get for her. I've been on the quest to shed a few pounds. So they suggested the raspberry ketones as a supplement. Overall, I don't have any complaints with Invite. I am not sure how invite health sets up their retail stores but this store in particular has the rudest people. They never have the DHA in pill form. Just the liquid. they can't ever give a straight answer to why they don't have it in stock EVER. I made a mistake buying the liquid form and returned a mere minute after purchasing. The lady in the store whoever she was decided to belittle me about why I was returning it. Mind you I was dealing with another salesperson the whole time, she was just roaming around the tiny store in the background. She didn't want to hear a word I said regarding how this wasn't for me but for my wife and that she can't stomach the liquid and rather eat the pills. She decided to educate me about why fish oil was so good for you and that I should tell my wife. The salesperson even kindly told me to just don't get into it with her. I left really pissed off and went to the 61st Street and 3rd Avenue. They were the original store I picked up DHA pills and they had them in stock. I asked the salesperson if this stuff is always low in stock and he mentioned no never and that store just must of had a fluke of some sort. He was surprised they never carried it.
