I stopped for a beer today at this brewery. I had when Pigs Fly American pale ale. Great beer, loved it. Please put some food on the menu!

Low Hanging Fruit

Iowa Brewing Company is just plain wonderful! I've been here twice now - once, during the evening, and once during the day, when I was able to spend some quality time with my partner in crime on their amazing patio during some perfect, ever-fleeting 75 degree weather. The atmosphere is great in both scenarios - they have a ton of board games to pick from, and my evening group and I spent a solid hour and a half playing the longest game of Uno in history while enjoying some of IBC's awesome beers. The outdoor patio is also fantastic - they have an array of picnic tables, and a ton of outdoor games to keep yourself occupied (giant Jenga, Bags/Cornhole). My personal favorite beer of theirs is is the "Low Hanging Fruit," but I'm looking forward to trying a few flights on a return trip. They also occasionally have a food truck parked outside in case you need any eats. Oh, and every time I've visited, the staff has been totally friendly and gone out of their way to help me make decisions on what to order based on what kind of beers I like. They're great!

Beer and games!

I was kind of hesitant about going here at first as I have heard mixed reviews, nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed it! It is a laid back atmosphere and perfect for a night of hanging out with friends. We found ourselves drinking beer and playing multiple games they have available (scrabble, UNO, cards against humanity, etc). Our "quick stop for a drink" turned into 3 hours of fun! I deducted one star as they only had one beer on tap that I really liked, however I was excited to see kombucha available as well. I also wish they served simple appetizers or popcorn as when drinking the salt cravings hit!

I have now been to Iowa Brewing Company a few times and it has taken a spot as one of my favorite breweries in the area. The 16 beers on tap include multiple varieties of different styles and the price for beer is really good! I rode my bike here on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to find I could buy a $10 pitcher of any of their low gravity offerings. I'm an IPA guy typically and have really enjoyed their Low Hanging Fruit, Surf Zombies, and Haze fo Daze brews. The Red Thing and Tragedy of the Common were also really tasty. This is a great place to drink away the day while playing board games inside or venturing out to the patio for some bags or big Jenga.

Beer flight

Iowa Brewing is a great brewery in Cedar Rapids. Came to this place on a Saturday afternoon. They have a lot of good options for beers to fit almost anyone needs. It was busy but didn't feel too crowded, plenty of seating. I did a flight here and got to try some things I had yet to have from here. They do bottle their beers and have seen many in the Iowa area. The place has a great feel, cool decor and a great patio to enjoy if the day would have been warmer. They also had some popcorn here as well. Overall one of the better breweries in Iowa.

Ok.. maybe I'm posting too may 5 stars in Cedar Rapids, but down town is legit. Iowa BC is a great spot for a pint or event. Their outdoor space is ver nice and a late bar to accommodate a large crowd. Keep up the good work.

Great choices of craft brews. I got two growlers filled. A bit more expensive than normal but I do recommend this place

Both of them were because of a corporate event. The lady who was serving us was from England, so was very sweet and kind, and her recommendations were good Food overall is a bar food with wings and lots of greasy appetizers. I love their pretzels. I had their mac & cheese with chicken. I got bored with it because they have like a huge potion but the flavor remains very constant probably I'll try some bowls next time. i'm at the event or paying for it. The best part about this place is their huge patio with being around the most busiest street of Cedar Rapids Their IPA beer is super light and not as heavy as other IPAs in the market very nice flavor

Didn't try their beer which I probably should have since their wine pour was barely 2 fingers. Pro tip: just get the bottle if you're going the wine route. I had the chicken sticky buns and those were soooo good. Hubby had the buffalo wings and loved all of them. Service was nice and always helpful. Here's the reason for the 3 stars though, there was a food runner that, bless her heart, may have been under the weather but literally sneezed into someone's soup as she was carrying it to them. Constantly touching her face (nose, eyes) and going straight to picking up another order. We were right by the kitchen so we saw it all. I'm aware that's a touchy situation and no we weren't able to see how many times she washed her hands which she totally could have, but it was super busy after 6pm so just wondering if she even had the time. This isn't an exaggeration and I don't like throwing anyone under the bus as they are hard workers, but the whole table saw the sneeze into the soup and it still got delivered. Food was great and next time I'll try the beer but will still be sitting by the kitchen :)

Showed up with the family, waited to be seated, not greeted given a "Imma putcha here" and slaps the table. Waitress seemed annoyed we were there, was on her phone most of the time, dropped the food off and that was the last we saw her until we felt very much pushed out the door. I had a pocket full of quarters left for my kids to play before close, all while my wife has a moral dilemma of what to tip this person because it's their livelihood despite the awful job. I like this place, but I'm done eating and going to places where employees can sit on their phones and ignore people. There's plenty of places that don't allow it.

We were headed out on summer vacation and needed a celebratory beverage to start us off. Big Grove for us, chocolate milk for the littles. Perfection. The drink selection was great! The food menu looked pretty standard. Wings, salads, quesadillas, nachos. Pricing is as expected at an airport. Honestly, I was most impressed at their breakfast menu! Tons of options-- burritos, pizza, bagels, English muffins... yum! (Ranging from like $3-$8, too.) Overall, wet your whistle at Millstream Brewhaus!

I found them at a good time where they were not at capacity at the beginning of my airport visit and sampled some of their menu waiting for my flight out back home. The place is adequate size for the airport (which is not a massive airport). MB was clean and well maintained, and welcoming without being too ornate. My servers were very positive and attentive, even towards the end of my visit where MB started to be at full capacity. I had the chicken tender app and the quesadilla app, both were good and hit the spot. If you sample their beers and ales made by their own Millstream Brewing Co., I recommend trying their White Ale. It's on the order of a Blue Moon type Belgian but much more flavorful and enjoyable...I wish they were near to my home as I enjoyed this one a lot! Bottom line: Definitely try Millstream Brewhaus if you get a chance to visit CID airport. Pretty good eats and a great White Ale. Positive and attentive service in a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed my visit!
