We had a piece of our tailpipe come off on a trip to Iowa and were referred to Iowa muffler and brake...we went in they looked at truck and gave us an estimate...we set up appointment for couple days later (they so busy you have no choice but to wait) which was totally worth the wait....we were given a choice of different mufflers of course but they actually put muffler on and let us hear how it sounded....never had that option before!! The estimate was only off by $25 and that's because of the muffler we choose...they were more than accommodating and would deffinately use them again......then today in the mail comes a thank you note!! Our 18 year old Born Free Motor Home had it's Catalytic Converter stolen and IMB was 1 on 2 shops willing to look at it after trying at least 10 others. I asked for a high estimate for the insurance company and they came in $600 under the other shop. When I made the appointment I was expecting to have to wait a couple hours for the repairs it ended up taking 45 minutes and was $100 under the estimate. Pretty much a great experience from start to finish. Very friendly service both on the phone and in person. I went in for a muffler weld and they took the time to bring me into the shop and show me my options. While there, I asked about a potential strut issue that was not part of my appt. They graciously spent time trying to re-create the noise and identify any possible issues. I also appreciated that they were very honest and did not attempt to sell me on "fixes" when we could not pinpoint the exact cause of the sound. My first visit here, I am so pleased with my experience, Everyone in the office were so friendly and helpful, and my technician KM was very friendly and professional, he took time with me to show me what was needed, and expertly assembled my exhaust system very quickly with welded connections, not just clamps alone, my truck has never sounded so quiet, runs like a brand new truck. Brought my 1966 Ford F100 to them for complete exhaust from the manifolds back. The truck has been modified and most shops wouldn't even touch the work needed. They gave me a "ballpark" figure of what it would cost and it was right on. They had me come down in the middle of the day to pick which mufflers I wanted and completed the project that same day. Had an exhaust that needed welded had an old hook that was never attached only was quoted $150 and they did more then what I was quoted for and kept the quote between $150-$165 appreciate the amazing work they do turned out better then I imagined was my second time getting work done definitely will be back. read more

Went in for a muffler that fell off. Was quoted a lot more from other places. Saved about $200. Ended up getting a better exhaust system and larger diameter pipe than the other places I got quotes from. The guy that worked on my truck was professional and gave me a fair deal.
