    Tint issues

I've recently have had the worst customer service/ resolution to a tint issue done on the car. An have been avoided by mgr Howard. The last interration we had said he had my check in his hands which would be sent out until Monday cause the office was closed Friday and Saturday. Didn't seem to want me to go pick up the check my self. He insisted it had to be mailed to me. Here we are about 2 weeks from that day and no check! I have called and dealer couple time i just want an answer on the status of my check that's only for $200 so I can go pay someone I trust to do my tintQ. Which he said he could not refund more than that because they have lost money on having redone my car tint 4 TIMES, how is that my fault that is an issue on your end not mine. I've taken in my CX30 4 times to get tint redone. But he wants to talk about spending money on paying for the service. Sorry but i have racked up miles and let alone wasted gas going to you guys as i don't live in San Antonio.! As a first time buyer with you guys yall started off amazing ever since they made changes to the management this went south.! Ive given my time and yall opportunity for this to be resolved, and I still continue to get the same service. Dealer charged about $600 for two windows to be tinted from the day got the car I made y'all aware of it as it was missing about 1in of tiny on both windows. Then four months later, for second time the tint bubbled up. Got redone for the 3rd time made the excuse that I have to allow it to sit for 48hrs for bubbles to clear, this is not my first tinted car! they Kept the car for 2 days and the tint got Redone the 4th tint and was still bubbled up. Mgr Howard said he would look at it when I went to point it out to him again he just overlooked it and tried to avoid the areas I pointed at. I even walked around the lot and pointed out cars to him that the tint had issues that had been on the lot for over 2 weeks. He even said some don't complain about the little bubbles sorry but if I paid $600 for two tinted windows I at least need them to be right! my money does not grown on trees! Also i get my car was not clean when i took it in but the fact that it was stained with the solution they use for the tint made it worse Never buying a tinted car from them.!

I parted ways with my Kia Stinger today, thanks to IPAC Mazda and the absolutely amazing SHAWN SOROLA!!!! PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: ASK FOR SHAWN SOROLA! IF HE'S NOT THERE, ASK WHEN HE'S RETURNING TO WORK. THIS MAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. OF EVERY SALESMAN I'VE HAD, SINCE PURCHASING MY FIRST CAR, SHAWN IS THE BEST, NUMERO UNO!! Again, Ask for Shawn! Ask for Shawn! Ask for Shawn! Ask for Shawn! Oh I forgot something, ASK FOR SHAWN! He didn't pay for this publicity but dang it, he deserves it. Shawn is very professional and an excellent communicator. Not once was I left wondering about anything. He explained everything and answered every question. He had a lot of patience too. He's also nice to look at...very nice to look at at. What a great way to start the new year with a brand spanking new 2023 vehicle! Bye Bye Kia Stinger... Thanks to everyone, and my two favorites... SHAWN and Andrew! If y'all leave this place, I will find you. This is how much I like and appreciate you.

Car maintenance is always an on-going thing and it was time for an oil change. So yesterday I called and set up an appointment with them to take my car in. I also needed to get my state inspection done as well. I was there around 7:40 in the morning and was greeted by a Service Advisor. He was friendly and ready to start the day. I waited a little while in their customer waiting area (which could definitely use updating to better treat those waiting for their vehicles) while my son came to pick me up. Did have a pastry while I waited. They usually have a box with them and breakfast tacos. I got a coffee from their machine, as well. About fifteen minutes later my son showed up and I was on my way home. Before it was even 9:00, I found a message on my phone saying my vehicle was ready for pick up. Wow! Now that's what I call service! Super fast. Thanks to Randall and the technicians for getting the work done in a very timely manner. Great job!!

If you get this in the mail do NOT GO TO THE DEALERSHIP. You have one nothing but a $3 headset from Walmart. Which they are false advertising as an Oculus Quest VR headset. The girl said they are doing this to boost their reputation, yet are lying and scamming people to just come to the dealership. Congrats you did the opposite!!!

I note lots of negative reviews, so your mileage may vary. PROS: * Car was priced fairly. I did extensive market research and some extra math (algebra + linear regression) and they didn't overcharge what the car was worth. * They held the car for us. We negotiated remotely from Austin and it was a couple days before we could get to San Antonio to sign the papers and pick up, but they held the car for us (removed it from inventory and took it off the websites). Other dealers told us straight up that they'd sell to anyone who walked in the door. So this is a pretty significant difference. * They curiously didn't detail the car before taking pictures or prior to inspection, but *after* we decided to buy it, *then* they detailed it. There was nothing in it for them at that point since we were gonna buy anyway, but they ate the cost in order to give us a nicer vehicle. * Staffer came through the waiting area offering customers free Valentine's Day candy. A nice touch. * Not lots of B.S. fees tacked on at the end, at least on our vehicle (but that could be because I negotiated on the out-the-door price, not the sales price). * Dealer never lied to me. Many dealers I've dealt with do. The dealer I was at before this one, both the salesperson and two managers told me they were losing money at the price I negotiated with them. Come on. * I declined the extended warranty, closer asked what price would make it worth it to me, I calculated a fair price and then told him it wasn't worth saying because there's no way he'd accept a price that low, he insisted I say, so I gave him, and he made it work. (I'm intentionally not saying what it was; that wouldn't be fair to the dealer.) CONS: * I think our salesperson didn't know what an Origination Fee is on a loan. I asked him what it was and he said $225, which is the Dealer Doc Fee. Had to go to a manager to get the answer (which was; no Origination Fee). * Since we were driving in from Austin, I wanted to get the No Origination Fee in writing before we made the trip to San Antonio, so I asked for a copy of the loan agreement, but the manager said he couldn't send it until it's signed. So I asked for a copy of a blank agreement, but he wouldn't send that either. After some wrangling he finally agreed to just email me the words "No origination fee on the dealer-financed loan." Close enough, but took some effort to get this confirmation. * The Buyer's Order on the closing screen had a line item for "Sales Tax" which was higher than the actual sales tax. I quickly figured that they had added the $50 Vehicle Inventory Tax to the Sales Tax amount, but they didn't identify it that way. That is straight up illegal. The Vehicle Inventory Tax is owed by the dealer, and not by the customer. If the dealer wants to pass their own expense along to the customer that's one thing, but they can't hide that charge inside Sales Tax and call it Sales Tax when it's not. NOTE: Another reviewer was mad b/c McCombs ran his credit through several banks, each of which resulted in a hard pull on his credit report. It's not widely known, but multiple pulls for an auto loan within a 14-day period count as just one pull. All the individual pulls are *listed*, but they're all *scored together* as just one pull.

We received a promotional mailer stating that we had won a $2,500 Instant Cash prize. Before making…read morethe trip to Benson's Pre-Owned Outlet, we wanted to make sure the promotion was legitimate, so we called the dealership. During that phone call, we specifically asked if we had to purchase a vehicle to claim the prize. We made it very clear that we were not in the market for a new vehicle and only wanted to come in if we could claim the advertised prize. The employee told us that we did not have to buy a car and that we could simply come in to collect the prize. She even told us that the owner had already set aside money for the prizes, including the cash prizes, which reassured us that the promotion was legitimate. Based on what we were told, my husband took time away from work during his lunch break to drive to the dealership. Unfortunately, once he arrived, everything changed. Instead of honoring what we had been told over the phone, they began trying to sell him a vehicle. Even though he repeatedly explained that he was not there to buy a car and was only there because we had been told he could claim the prize, they continued with the sales process. Another issue was what happened next. The mailer advertises "Your Job Is Your Credit" and a "100% Approval Rate." Despite us making it clear that we weren't there to purchase a vehicle, my husband was asked for his Social Security number. He was never told that his credit would be run. The salesperson took his information, walked away, and when he came back, that's when my husband found out his credit had already been pulled. At no point was he told beforehand that providing his Social Security number would result in a credit inquiry. After all of that, instead of receiving what we had been led to expect based on the phone conversation, he was handed a $1 scratch-off ticket and told that's how the promotion worked. To be clear, this review is not about whether we won $2,500. We understand promotions have rules and conditions. Our issue is that we did everything we could to avoid wasting our time. We called ahead, asked direct questions, explained that we were not interested in purchasing a vehicle, and relied on the information given to us by a dealership employee. Had we been told the truth from the beginning--that we couldn't simply come in and claim the prize--we never would have made the trip. We have the dates and times of the phone calls we made before visiting the dealership. We relied on the information provided by the dealership's own employee, only to be told something completely different once my husband arrived. Between the misleading phone conversation, the pressure to discuss buying a vehicle after we had clearly said we weren't interested, and my husband's credit being pulled without being told that was going to happen, this entire experience was extremely disappointing. I hope Benson's Pre-Owned Outlet becomes more transparent about its promotions and trains its staff to give accurate information so other customers don't have to go through the same experience.

The body was in excellent condition in spite of its 18 year age. Even the Michelin tires 225 ZR-17 were either new or almost new with low miles on them. They were in excellent condition and with the highest speed rating available. This is a huge selling point for me. Go price these tires today and you will see they are very expensive and of great quality and safety. The leather interior was in exceptional condition as well. The engine had good power and the automatic transmission shifted smoothly as well. The automatic power top was not working at the time and this was not a critical item for me. I will fix it in due time. The ride was not as smooth as it could be and so I will replace the shocks and/or struts when time and money permits. This is my 3 used car purchase from Hani in over 20 years. He is an avid car enthusiast as I am. He always buys special and or unique cars e.g. some with immaculate leather interiors, all the repairs records and/or with OEM books, new or almost new matching tires, very fast cars with Turbos or superchargers, sporty, luxury, or both. Any used car we buy will always need additional work, maintenance, parts, etc. But, in my experience with Hani's cars, he has been very successful in acquiring cars with a lot of potential. And, his prices have always been extremely competitive and more than fair and reasonable. When buying used cars, it is always "caveat emptor" (Let the Buyer beware). That is Latin and legal terminology used when purchasing used homes and/or cars, etc. It is our job as Buyers to examine the products and to decide whether or not we are willing to accept the flaws and or issues along with its great selling points as well of any used property we purchase without any warranties whatsoever.
