I woke up Sunday morning and my iPhone wasn't working. My screen has been cracked for a few months...finally decided to stop working. Anyways, I contacted IPhone Repair Pro. Sunday morning on a holiday weeke Ilyas (the technician/business owner). He was scheduled to open at 10:00 but he was there around 9:30. Fixed my phone in about 15 minutes. The price was reasonable - $165! (I had been quoted $265+ from other fix it places.) A great beginning to my Sunday! Thank You! Hey! I did it again. Dropped my phone! I thought I cracked the screen but, no! Just the screen protector, which Ilyas put on last time. Phew!!! Ilyas changed out my screen protector and I'm goof to go! Moral of the story: Do NOT get your phone fixed here unless you are desperate. Ilyas uses non OEM screens that void your Apple warranty. These screens cost half of original screens, but have a very limited one month warranty with loopholes. Ilyas does not warn you about any of this (as of October 2020). I cracked my iPhone screen for the first time ever in August 2020. At first I thought Ilyas was a lifesaver. He fixed my screen in less than 30 minutes and it seemed good as new. Not so fast. Within 2 months, the screen stopped working completely. I took it back and he said that the LCD (?) layer in between the screen and the phone was cracked and was not covered by the warranty. Also, since the warranty was for 1 month, I would need to buy another screen. I was visibly upset by this and he agreed to replace it for half price. This time he "warned" me that I couldn't store the phone in my handbag or back pocket or put any "pressure" on it because the screen was delicate. What?? That replaced screen doesn't work after a month. When I use my phone, the screen keeps scrolling up on its own making it impossible to use apps. I paid $160 + $80 for nothing. Wish I had splurged at the Apple store instead. read more

I got to the point of paranoia regarding other people servicing my phone after a bad experience at Cellairis that left me with a factory reset phone for no reason. It was such a relief to get my phone fixed with no hiccups. I thought there was deeper damage but my phone was able to be repaired completely. If you have a Samsung, as with anywhere, request your parts in advance. There will be a little wait, but I was able to get my phone the next day. Great service! My iPhone X was cracked and during this COVID crisis all Apple stores were closed. Leveraged Yelp and found iPhone Repair Pro. They were extremely responsive and they stated they could fix the phone as soon as I got there. From start to finish it was about 15 minutes and they also installed a free glass protector. Amazing service from Ilyas (he's the same person from the other iPhone Repair Pro in Walnut Creek). Even though his physical location is Walnut Creek, he does mobile service and will drive to your location (if it's in the area he covers) for no extra charge. I requested a quote for an iPhone X screen replacement from him in the morning and got a response in less than 10 minutes. His response about pricing and scheduling was very quick, and in 15 minutes he was outside and ready to do the repair. The whole repair took only ~10 minutes! It's also the OLED screen that he uses, not LED LCD. His repairs come with 30 day warranty in case anything doesn't work properly.
