Update: Apple Watch is now a brick (doesn't turn on). While Mr. Telephone man did a great job in regards to service and delivery, he didn't mention anything about keeping the watch out of any water. The service destroys the water resistance and after getting the watch wet, its dead and no longer turns on. He offered to try and dry it out for an additional fee. He fixed my wife's Apple Watch at a great price! My wife's Apple Watch 4 wasn't holding a charge throughout the day and Apple support was useless. I reached out to D at Mr. Telephone Man for help. He picked up the phone after hours, came and picked it up from my house the next day and then delivered it back to my front door. All for the same price Apple quoted. What more can I ask? THIS GUY IS A SCAM!! I know him through people at my work and had him fix two phones in three days. One needed a new battery and screen and the other needed a new screen. He did fix them but it's now been a month and the iPhone X isn't working (see photos). A little hard to connect with in person because he's busy, but once we did, he fixed my iPad as he said he would. It cost a smidge more than the original estimate - I don't know why and just let that go. In a certain light I can see some very slight warping in the glass at a certain angle but it was a LOT cheaper than having apple do it or buying a new iPad, and I should be able to get a couple more years out of it. My phone quit charging. & I was panicking big time. I remembered this little shop the said"Cell Phone repair". Yes he was there and would work on it after lunch.. Come back at 3pm. So I get back at 3pm he was about done. When all was said and done it was charging again! A little later I noticed the fingerprint sensor was not connected . So called D he said bring it down. Update: As of last week I had to replace my entire phone! My parents, who have over 30 years experience working in the telecommunications field. Said that D's work was shotty which caused extensive damage. I don't know what he did, and I should have stopped him when the REPLACEMENT screen flashed "phone disabled for 15 minutes" while he was working on it .And to answer the owner back, you made me give you a five star review in order to get the screen. I was more than willing to pay you, but you insisted; so lets not kid ourselves. And another thing, if you do not want to refix a phone, be straight forward with a client. Do not give a client one phone number to text (which if you call him again he'll send you to that one) and ignore them.While you have ANOTHER phone number. Didn't someone tell you its rude to ghost people? I am very disappointed. Twice I called this establishment and twice it has failed me. The first time D sent his friend to fix my phone. The guy was nice and accommodating, however, within 30 mins of it being fixed; the screen was slow to respond. D's friend had told me "There was a lot of water in it, your phone, it may malfunction". That was BS, a SPLASH of water got into the crack of my phone. But he made it seem like I dunked it in water. A MONTH AFTER I got the phone fixed, the screen TOTALLY gave out. It would not respond to my fingers. D came over and fixed my phone, he said " my friend said you had water damage. your phones mother board is probably the problem" I told him that it was a splash of water not a whole cup of water. Besides that he fixed my phone and even put a screen protector on it. The major problem I have is that 1, a week after I got my phone fixed, I dropped it with the case on. When I went to examine the damage, I noticed SEVEN mini cracks UNDER the screen protector. I could not believe what I was seeing. Isn't a screen protector supposed to protect your phone? To top it off, my boyfriend needed his phone fixed last night, D said he would come over to help him out.HE BLEW US OFF. NEVER ONCE DID HE CALL US, NEVER ONCE DID HE RESPOND TO MY BOYFRIEND'S MESSAGES !. After you SAID you would be at our house later that night. I had a great experience here. Great customer service. I had a phone emergency since mine got crushed and they arranged for an overnight of the parts that I needed, and allowed me to wait while they changed out the screen. I had called a couple of other places and they we're way more expensive and also would have to take the phone for several days and didn't seem to be interested in my business. I cracked my iPhone X screen Tuesday night, and sent in a quote request at 10:30 pm to Mr. Telephone man. He got back in to me within a minute of the screen repair request with a clear quote of options. We set up an appt for the next day at 4:00 at my office. He got caught in traffic and called me right away saying he was going to be late, and asked if I could stay till 5:00. I couldn't, so we set up an appt for today first thing at my home (mobile repair is so legit). He came on time, fixed the phone within 25 minutes. We had a pleasant conversation as he worked. He let me know that my phone was missing a screw, so that if I ever need to replace the screen again, I would know that the missing screw was not on him. The screw would not affect the function of the phone. He was aware of covid protocols, wearing a mask and contactless service. The phone looks great, with a new screen protector included in the price ($173.58 after tax for premium screen). We used Venmo to complete the transaction.
