Then, we saw a Korean restaurant-like food court inside. The entire environment is very clean and they use a self-serving system. You can order from the machine and pick up from the kitchen counter. We tried the Gamjatang and Chicken Deopbap. Both of them came with side dishes - kimchi and pickled radish. The Gamjatang was excellent! It included three pieces of pork bone that were so tender. I also loved their soup broth and the spice level is perfect for me. The Chicken Deopbap was served on a hot plate, keeping it hot and the bottom of the rice was a bit crispy too. However, I thought it had a little too much oil. If you just want a snack, you can also buy bibimbap in the Galleria. I remember they also had a microwave available for heating it up.

And not to forget the quality. Not just the groceries - they also serve samosas and puffs (vegetarian only) and also does sell curries and/or pav bhaaji/chaat etc. sugarcane juice is sold during the summer months and reasonbly priced as well. They also have a points system if you a regular, not just the savings you get but also you get some $$ off your bill based. Overall its a very good indian grocery store compared to many in sauga.

They also have a bakery inside but I was not able to check what they offer. I called and ordered ahead of time. I ordered a platter of mixed shawarma 7/10 1 kilogram of Kebobs which came with pita, grilled tomatoes and grilled onions with side salad.7/10 I also ordered 1 kilogram of Shish tawook 6/10. They also gave me a small baba ghanoush and some garlic sauce. For the food you get the price is great. Would I come out of my way again to order, probably not. The chicken was dry, it was plentiful, yes, but too dry to enjoy it. The beef Kebobs were slightly better but not amazing. The shawarma was ok but I had better. If you are in the neighbourhood and want cheap eats then for sure this place will be a good place to go to. I must say though that the guys serving were pleasant and helpful.

It seems funny to say I've always wanted to check out Seafood City Supermarket, but it's true…read more lol. I was in Brampton for work, so I stopped by to check it out for lunch. My 1/2 Filipino self was so happy to see all of the delicious food options, and at great prices. After I enjoyed my pork BBQ lunch, I browsed the aisles for all of my favourite Filipino goodies (especially ube filled!). It was heaven. I was surprised to see not only all of the Asian goods I wanted, but traditional North American items as well. I wish I had one nearby as I'd do all of my grocery shopping here! It was interesting to see a Jollibee and Filipino bakery attached too. I hope they do the night parties again next year as I would love to check it out. Seafood City is way more than just a grocery store!
