The screens on our two iPhone6S devices appeared to have cracked. Plus, the battery life is a fraction of what it once was. I took one of the phones to iRepair Buffalo, asking for a new screen and battery. Rather than selling me a new battery and putting it in, the folks at iRepair recommended against that, telling me Apple hasn't made a battery for the 6S in three years and that those still in stock have been sitting on a shelf for that long. A new battery wouldn't make much of a difference. So, they recommended the purchase of a Mophi battery case to help keep my battery charged, which I ordered from Amazon for less than $50. The techs at iRepair were going to replace the screen though. To my delight, they found it was the screen protector that had cracked, not the screen itself. They put on a new screen protector, no charge. Same story for my wife's phone, which I then brought over. Cracked screen protector, but not the screen. They put on a new protector, and I had to force them to take some compensation. What an honest company! I will definitely use them again in the future if I have any more serious issues. read more

I dropped my iPhone 5s; it hit a pebble and shattered the screen. I took it to iRepair and they fixed it that same day while I waited. It worked great with no problems. Almost a year later, for unknown reasons, the bottom of the screen stopped working and the rest of the screen was erratic. I took it to iRepair expecting to pay for whatever repairs were necessary. The owner replaced the screen (again same day) and it fixed the problem. When I tried to pay, he told me because I was still under his warrantied work (a year), he wasn't going to charge me. I didn't know it would be under warranty as I wasn't really sure what the problem was, and it had worked so good for so long. When I offered to pay, he could have just taken my money, but he didn't. He offered the repair under warranty and I didn't even ask if he would. It's hard to find such honest, good service these days. I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my devices to iRepair again! read more

I had water damage with my Macbook Pro and took my laptop to iRepair. Dan was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me and show me exactly what was going on. He was upfront about all costs so I did not drop off my laptop and leave wondering what the bill would be at pickup. When he was doing the repair he noticed a problem that could have potentially affected my hard drive, so he called me to explain what he found and how this would affect my bill if I needed a new hard drive- turns out the hard drive was ok so I did not pay anything additional, but I really appreciate that he called me to check that I would be ok with the cost before he did anything. My laptop was ready in less than 48 hours and is working great - for a small fraction of what Apple quoted me. Overall, very happy with my experience and would highly recommend. My trackpad had been off (not allowing me to drag things or use the portion I had designated to right click, etcetera) on my macbook pro for 7 months! I didn't want to spend the money on a new mac laptop, or to fix it at the apple store (at least $225 as my computer was out of warranty), so I tried a few of the "tricks" I found on line. When those "tricks" failed, I decided to live with it. Then I heard about iRepair, I brought it in and was quoted $125 (at least $100 less then the Apple store)! I was ecstatic! My computer that worked well for years gradually declined in its performance until all that remained was a blue gray screen. There were times when I couldn't turn it off coupled with occasions when the computer seemed to have a mind of its own. Indeed, the circumstance was bizarre. I came to the conclusion that the computer I liked very much would be a total loss. While sitting at Dunkin' Donuts looking out the window, I saw the iRepair facility. What can I say more about this place.. Absolutely horrible. I arrived there to see this young woman arguing with the owner, for the exact same thing he did to my phone! Yes, they replaced my cracked screen in the promised 20 minutes and gave me a gratis screen protector since I'm an idiot who doesn't use a phone case. My own damn fault. I dropped my phone again..2 days later..and it cracked even with the screen protector. So I don't know whether that's my fault or if the replacement screen plus screen isn't of the highest quality. The owner messaged me that they would work with me to fix it (and I do realize it's all in the way the phone hits the ground), but I'm back in MSP. 4 stars is still a good review, so I'll let it stand! read more

I took my sons IPhone for repair They were fast, professional and honest. I took it because I thought he had a bad charging port it turned out it just need to be cleaned out so the contacts could make a solid connection. They could have told me anything and I would have just gone along with it. Instead it took him two minutes and he had resolved the issue at no charge. Hard to find a business who does customer service with honesty and integrity. I will take all of my apple products to these guys for repairs. Outstanding Company. read more

Smashed the screen on my 5s. Decided to fix it myself.... big mistake. I consider myself a handy guy and managed to complete the task but re-shattered the screen trying to get it pressed back in. Enough is enough... I called iRepair. After speaking with Dan and filling him in he quoted me a very reasonable price. My iPad screen was badly cracked/mushed in 2 places. iRepair took it on a Saturday afternoon, and fixed by Monday afternoon. The cost, with tax, was at least $120 cheaper than it would have been at Apple. No recriminations. No trying to sell me a newer model. A pleasant, efficient result. When I mentioned that I'd better buy a glass screen protector, they said they happened to have one and included it in the repair for no extra fee! At Best Buy, that would have run me another $50. I'd give them more than five stars if I could! I've broken a couple devices in the last few years and I wouldn't take them to get fixed anywhere else. Most recently I cracked the screen of my IPhone and brought it in- not only did I have to pay 80 dollars less than I would at an Apple store, and 50 dollars less than the next cheapest local place I could find, but it was done in 25 minutes. They even smoothed out some of the dented metal edges and gave me a spare screen protector for free. Couldn't recommend enough. read more

These guys do beautiful work and in a fraction of the time the Apple Store does. After making an appointment at the Apple Store, checking in with 3 different people with iPads, I was told the repair time for my phone would be 2.5 hours but they would put the parts on hold. I came back the next day, again 2.5 hours. I stopped in to irepair, and they fixed my phone in 15 minutes- approximately the amount of time it takes to check in the the Apple Store. Great customer service, couldn't be happier. I originally came in because I cracked my iPhone screen last week. I also dropped it in the mud at the Bills game yesterday (whoops) and thought it was fine until the business owner took a look at it--there was so much dirt inside the charging port that he changed that entire part for free. I am very impressed with this place. I walked in today (no appointment!) with a phone battery that wouldn't last 15 minutes. The staff was friendly. He explained the possible reasons for my phone issues, the possible out comes with replacing my battery and what to expect with a replacement battery versus the original one. Very pleased with how I was treated. I was expecting to drop off my laptop and pay at least a costly evaluation fee. The owner quickly fixed a simple problem that I was having at no charge. My problem was resolved, a simple cleaning performed and I was on my way in minutes. I feel that other repair places would have, at minimum, taken the unit in for an evaluation and cleaning charge. This repair shop is by far the cheapest and fastest in this area. I broke the LCD screen, went to have it fixed at irepair and it took 8 minutes to fix, literally 8 minutes. You do not need to call ahead, no appointment necessary. They also replace broken glass for a flat fee , which is a 1/4 of the cost of apple!
