I went in for a basic manicure annoying and pedicure .Got talked int a 50 pedicure that was annoying. The massage could have been done by a 10 year old child.The polish was poorly done. Not the quality of Iris . So disappointing . Nail manicure the same . I can definitely tell you that they talk at you ,not to you. A. Very relaxing environment, kind people, high quality products (OPI) and work. I've gone twice now and my first gel manicure was in perfect condition 4 weeks later. No chipping or peeling which is rare compared to 2 other places I've gone locally. Hopefully this one will be the same. They offer a nice back massage while your nails are drying. Wonderful experience. My daughter got a relaxing pedi complete w hot towel & massage. I got tips w ANC & cute little design. Not too "spa like", but clean & has nice touches like hot towels & mini massages. best part is they only hand file! No nasty dremmel & that's especially good for thin nails. Really bad. The polish job and the nail shape are both terrible. My big toe nails are two different shapes entirely, one looks like a trapezoid. I'm going to have to go home and redo it myself, but not sure the shape can be fixed until it grows out more. As for the polish, it's "bumpy." Weird. And that was $42. read more

1st time here, as i just moved to the area. Place is clean but kinda underwhelming...no TV or music playing and really no decor. My nail tech was Louis or Louie...they couldn't decide but he was very good and my nails have never looked better. Also great lil 2 minute shoulder massage to finish me off! Great service. Though I was a walk in they took me in around 15 minutes. They did a really nice job and reasonably priced. I would use them again for sure. What I would like to comment on, was that there was a nice mother and daughter there getting their nails done. They really went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable for the little girl. They carefully did her nails, carrying her around to the different stations, painting little flowers. This really made me realize what an exceptional place this is. They really tried hard to make things work well for their customers. Next time I think i will try their gel manicures. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. She was clearly rushing get to a 'regular' more high profile customer who rolled in 5 minutes after I sat down. My $40 'callus pedicure' lasted less than 20 minutes. Extremely rushed and hectic. I expect the polish will chip immediately. Very disappointing. I used to come here and bring daughter when they first opened and it was not like this. After moving a couple of months ago, I had yet to find a nail salon for pedicures and the basics... I tried Iris this morning and I am so glad I did! The staff at Iris is SO kind and attentive. I had a pedicure and a brow wax and totally satisfied with both. What is also worth noting is that this place is IMMACULATE. Seriously, there is not one speck of even dust in the place... and I saw the main salon, the waxing room and the ladies' room. My pedicure was $35 [which also included a 10 minute foot massage AND a couple minute shoulder/neck massage while my nails were drying - I've had plenty of massages and the guy at Iris knows what he's doing!] and brow wax was $9. I find that TOTALLY affordable and on the very low end of the cost spectrum for these services... especially in Saratoga. read more

I never write reviews. And if I have something negative to say I usually give the benefit of the doubt and move on. But this is my 3rd bad experience in a row here. So I hope to save someone some hard-earned cash. If you have an appt with a nail technician then you're probably fine here. But in order to not lose customers or money the owner sticks her husband on you who is clearly NOT trained to do her work. He's a nice guy but I'm not paying for a nice guy, I'm paying for a service that hopefully is better than I can do on my own. I've paid 3x now for crooked long nails, with no expertise, and. No skin trim - my nails then look terrible until I can afford to go to someone else a month later. They're trying to make money and not by giving you quality service. This is an update to a previously glowing review from three years ago. Iris' is still in the same location (which is great) with the same owners, but seems to have run out of steam. The last three times I've been there, the careful customer service and little niceties are no longer there, and nail techs don't seem focused what they are doing. What they continue to do well is collecting their (continually high) fees before your nails are even dry. The recent work I've experienced has been pretty mediocre, as opposed to past years when you felt there was a level of professionalism and pride of work. No longer. Disappointing. read more

Just came back from an amazing pedicure at Iris Nails. My daughter and I were treated like royalty. Our treatment included paraffin, reflexology -- the works. Afterward, while my nails were drying, I was treated to an additional shoulder massage. The location is new and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and eager to please. I had an appointment, but walk ins are obviously welcome. Their menu of services is complete, and you can do anything from a simple manicure to " the works." While I was waiting for my nails to dry, a young woman came in with a manicure emergency -- her acrylic nail had fallen off. Although the manicure had been done elsewhere, the owner provided her with an emergency fix -- at no charge! Delightful experience, reasonable prices, clean and fresh environment. I highly recommend! One note -- they accept credit cards, but request that tips be done separately in cash. read more

Worst pedi ever. Older gentleman had no clue on how to do a pedi. Cuticle work was nonexistent and massage was pathetic. Nails on big toe two different sizes. I chose to just sit in pedi chair to dry and when asked to move to the dryer station he completely forgot he still haven't removed the callous pouch that was on my heels. So disappointing. During my visit with a friend we went to this place. Both decided to get the 'Relaxing Pedicure' and it really was! The massage included lotion and hot stone. This pedicure was unlike any other place I have gone to and really was a very relaxing spa to visit. I'm giving this a 3 star only because I felt like it was over priced and expensive. read more

Absolutely incredible location, prices more or less consistent with the area so I wouldn't consider them overpriced. If you get Ashley consider yourself lucky, I have never been compelled to tip $15 on a $35 pedicure but the one I got for Christmas from her was so good that I felt she really deserved it. Walk-in wait times are pretty minimal and with appointments you won't wait at all. Staff is friendly, salon is clean and relaxing, in my experience it's a lot nicer than the average salon in the area for more or less the same price. The tools came out of sealed packages and the pedicure sink was spotless. The salon is new and has very nice massage chairs. The owner, Iris, was there and was very friendly. Great place! The people were so nice and the place was very quiet and relaxing. While waiting for my nails to dry a little, they offered a shoulder massage which was also great. I made an appointment just to be on the safe side but when I arrived a little early they took care of me instantaneously. I told them about an issue I had at a previous nail salon with the manicurist filing my nail and making it bleed and they were so careful and gentle. Everything was done without electric tools.
