When we arrived, there was plenty of parking, and the restaurant was hopping! Even though it was busy, we were quickly seated. I ordered the Sunshine Special, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The entire meal was cooked perfectly and made with fresh ingredients. Everything tasted delicious! I also really enjoyed the colorful murals throughout the restaurant. The bright, happy colors just make you smile. As an artist, that was honestly one of my favorite parts of the atmosphere. They have a decent amount of seating, including a cute bar area. There's also outdoor seating available if you're waiting for a table, which I thought was a great idea. The bathrooms were very clean as well, and overall, we had a really nice experience. On our way back to the car, I noticed they even have an additional space available for events or private parties. Now THAT is my idea of a work party, a breakfast meetings!

We were seated inside right away & our server was super sweet and helpful to help us decide what to order. We ordered coffee and orange juice which came out right away. Orange juice was really good although pretty pricy ($6 or small and $9 for large). Also ordered vegan spud stacker which was delicious! They had a pretty big menu that accommodated different dietary restrictions. The portion side was big (I took the rest home so it was really 2 meals) and everything tasted great. Will definitely come back again to try other items in the menu!

Had a nice lunch out at Wicked Barley Brewing Company - Jacksonville, FL today to kickoff and enjoy…read moretheir Reggae Sunday season. My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

Good food. Couple of gotchas but nothing much. Definitely will be back....

It was also moist and very tasty. I'll be back to this restaurant.

Having said that what an awesome way to end my birthday with this amazing dinner that I had at this place. One of the best Italian restaurants in Jacksonville I must say. As soon as me and my wife walked in to the restaurant we were greeted and sat right away. The ambiance of this restaurant is truly amazing and very Italian vibe. We were greeted by our server MORGAN who was fantastic from beginning to the end. She suggested some incredible stuff that as a vegetarian I tried and was just amazing. For drinks we had mojito and pinacolada which was nice and refreshing. For appetiser we were recommended with Pomodoro Caprese which was amazing especially their Pesto sauce. For my entree she suggested me Luingini Josephine which was unique and nice pasta. Morgan surprised me with a dessert which was very kind of her. Overall this family owned small business is an amazing must try Italian restaurant. I can't wait to back and try more stuff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a perfect combination,, made better by putting the lime curd on every pancake, not just the top one. And loaded with blueberries! Came with eggs and bacon or sausage. Our server Heather said she preferred the bacon, and I'd go for it next time. I appreciated the homemade sausage but it was a little too sweet for us. Husband enjoyed his crawfish and andouille omelet. English muffin was under-toasted. Heather put it through again and it was better. Coffee was good, def could tell it was there, and Heather kept our cups filled. Fans outside kept things comfortable.

And for the price, I wanted a little more than "well, I ate." We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and Seasonal Breakfast Bowl, and neither gave me a reason to want to order them again. Service -- 3/5 Stars The service was fine. Our server was nice, but I do wish he would've checked on our table more often. Our Colombian coffees arrived cold and honestly weren't good at all. It took quite a while before we were able to catch our server and let him know so we could order something different. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with his attitude; the service just didn't feel very engaged or attentive. It felt more like we were an afterthought than a table actively being taken care of. Ambiance -- 1/5 Stars It's Another Broken Egg Cafe, so I wasn't exactly expecting some elaborate, curated vibe. It's a chain, and that's perfectly fine. What I wasn't expecting was the smell when we walked in. It smelled unpleasant enough that my first instinct was genuinely to turn around and leave. We stayed, but between that and the otherwise standard chain-restaurant atmosphere, there wasn't much about the ambiance I enjoyed. Overall -- 2/5 Stars Overall...yeah, I don't think we'd return. Cold coffee, lackluster food, and service that felt like an afterthought made the entire experience pretty underwhelming. Nothing was so outrageously terrible that I have a dramatic story to tell. It was almost worse than that--it was just incredibly forgettable. For nearly $50 for breakfast for two, I need a little more than "it was food." What We Ordered: Cinnamon Roll French Toast -- $18.18 Seasonal Breakfast Bowl -- $16.49 Side of Salsa -- $0.99 2 Colombian Coffees -- $7.98 Total: $46.91

When we arrived we checked in for our reservation and even though we got here early, they were able to seat us. Since we were early we were able to order one cocktail on happy hour. I will say, I understand they want to have craft distilleries or alcohol, I wish they would have some of the bigger brands of alcohol. Some of the smaller brands just don't taste the same. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I believe his name was John. He let us know that they just launched this menu. We were a little bummed bc we were looking forward to the strip steak with Bernaise sauce. We started with the fig pizza , meatballs, and bread. Word to the wise because they have an open kitchen, if you run hot be sure to dress appropriately. It gets pretty warm in there. The pizza was delicious. I loved the combo of blue cheese and sweet figs. The meatballs were flavorful and the sauce was really good. I liked the bread plate, just wish there were more dipping options. For dinner we all ordered the strip with the truffle fries and the peppercorn sauce. We really enjoyed the steak, but I liked the one with bernaise better. The steaks were all cooked to our liking. They knew it was my sister's birthday, so they brought out their ice cream with olive oil and sea salt. It's different but super delicious. We will back!
