I absolutely love this place! This place has been on my bucket list for quite some time actually. What I came here for the most was the hard Cider options because alot of the local places don't carry much. This place has the largest selection and best options too. If I see something that I like, they will sell me an individual can instead of getting stuck buying a 4/6/12 pack. Staff here is knowledgeable and friendly of their products. Clean restrooms! 3/14/22 UPDATE. Iron and Glass has contacted us and is giving us a refund. Hi all. We recently bought Superstition Canned Mead from Iron and Glass. The Strawberry Sweethearts was delicious. The Backseat Bingo suffered from a serious case of secondary fermentation. The cans foamed violently when opened, and had large pieces of sediment in the bottom. We called Iron and Glass, left a message, but have not heard back. The cans were dated (on the bottom) 2021. Do not purchase this unless you check the date first. Iron and Glass, please pull these dated products from your shelves! A return phone call would also be appreciated. It is understandable that products go bad, but you get one star for failing to follow up. read more

Really liked this place. Prices are a bit on the high side vs a liquor store but the customer service is outstanding and they usually have about 10 taps going and are happy to give you a free pour of this or that. I wish they had a larger selection of cold beer to go since 97% of what you purchase will be warm, but to add coolers would up the price so it is what it is. What they could do to help themselves would be to have a couple of bagged ice coolers. A fair amount of seating at this place. Very clean . They're aren't many of these places in the suburbs. This place is very similar to a place in Glen Ellyn. I must say they have a larger selection here and more seating here which is nice. Definitely worth a stop. read more

I was so excited to check this place out, I had some friends tell me about it and I love the concept of the bottle to-go and on draft beer store all in one. This place is a journey and a half from me but I have a buddy who just bought a house towards this way and I had to check it out. It's a good sized venue with about a dozen drafts and many craft bottles. It's a kind of place you don't see in this neck of the woods. Sophisticated and knowledgeable service with attention to detail without being a huge chain of shops. Let me make something clear this a family business, the two employees working here are husband and wife with young children. I love their attitude and the way they balance the business with their kids. Such an amazing ownership. It's a story of someone building a dream business around craft beer. Great beer selection. It's also on the Heritage Corridor Ale Trail. Worth the trip for beer. Wide selection and some locals on tap. They have board games and some other beers and ciders in the fridge. They have some non alcohol drinks too; bottles root beer and flavored sodas. The have a special events calendar against their back wall. No food, just the typical breadsticks and pretzels. The owner and my hubs had a good convo about local beer moving faster off the shelves than non-local. read more

A great addition to our neighborhood. This bottle shop/taproom opened last week and we were there the first day to try it out. Great owners - so helpful and friendly and willing to let you try samples of their beers on tap before you order. I really like the option of a 5 oz or 10oz pour so I can try more beers! They have 10 plus beers (and a cider) and a rotating list so each time you go you many find new beers to discover. The selection of bottles and cans is quite extensive too. Check it out! Looking forward to many more visits. These guys are so friendly. They keep adding new events - like beer and yoga, and bottle sharing to vent people back! As a couple that loves to travel around and visit microbreweries and brewpubs, I never thought our favorite place to drink would not be a brewery. How wrong we were. While we recently moved to a place very close to Iron & Glass, that's not the main attraction. They have 12 rotating taps of top tier craft beers from all over the country. Additionally, they have a wide selection of craft beers for take out. We regularly find ourselves stopping on our way home on Friday afternoons for a sampling of several tasters, and we usually end up walking out with several 6 packs to carry us through the weekend. The atmosphere is also quite inviting. There is always a mix of regulars along with people experiencing the place for the first time. All are quite welcoming and don't hesitate to interact on a common subject - great beer. One of the owners is usually present, along with their star employee, Tom. Tom keeps up with the pace, no matter how busy, and is never shy about making recommendations on one of the 12 featured selections for that day. If you like to try great beer in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, stop by sometime. You're sure to return! read more

Every time I go to this venue I meet new beer Enthusiasts'. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Purchased a yearly membership and it's already paying off. Sample most the Bourbon County variants on tap, yummy! 2nd Anniversary party featured a different big beer tapping every hour, most were barrel aged. They do a really good job with communication on Facebook and updating their lists on delivery days through Untappd. This is a 5 star because they literally are able to get every rare, release and highly sought after beer and eliminating my need to hunt it down. Plus their tap list in INSANE at pretty much any moment. During the weekdays they have Happy Hour prices from 2pm-4pm I believe for $2 off a 10oz or 16oz pour. The events they have are weekly from tastings, beer shares to trivia. The beer they sell on the shelves are very fairly priced but won't come at the $1-$2 off discounts that Binny's provides...whichever, support small businesses that are a positive reflection of the community. I'm not really a fan of the name and the fact that their membership is closed to any additional people outside of those that signed up in January. Otherwise I only see these guys getting better as time goes on and I hope they can get to the level of The Open Bottle in Tinley Park as this would be a much closer option. Cheers! read more

Finally Romeoville gets a bottle shop that carries the premium goods. No more traveling across multiple towns, or going into dark run down liquor stores. No more hoping to find something that is uncommon. Once in awhile, you may be able to snag something unique at a local liquor store or Jewel, but usually it has to be ordered and then you have to wait. Best chance of getting something out of the ordinary is going to Binnys. BTW, if you do go to a local liquor store, there is a good chance it won't be fresh. Happened to me... (year old IPA in a cooler GAG) Not only will the suds at Iron & Glass be fresh, you will see items from out of state. East and West coast and all in between! Prices are fair. They do sell memberships that can knock off 10% on Sunday bottle purchases and 30% on draft purchases on Tuesdays, but it is a limited time deal. They are verified on Untappd and you can see in real time what they have on tap and on the shelf, and other events. Staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable. You can spend a whole day in the shopping plaza! Have breakfast at Tasty Waffle, and lunch at Pepes. Cap it off with some brews at Iron & Glass. You can bring food in too. Like their page on FB as you may see them post that they are giving a free tasting on a certain bottle that comes in from their stash or from a customer. Sharing is caring! read more

I don't think I can say enough good things about this place. The owners really have a passion for what they do. They are super friendly and very helpful and offer suggestions based on your tastes. It's a smaller venue, so it's kind of a cozy vibe. They do not serve food, but you are more than welcome to bring in your own food. In fact, on the night that my wife and I were there we were offered pizza, cake, and lots of free samples. There is no shortage of hospitality here. Prices are very reasonable and the beers are delicious. I'm a fan!! read more

I stopped in a couple weeks ago for a look around to see what this place was all about. The very least I can say is: I was extremely impressed. The draft selection was amazing and the package selection was breathtaking! If I were to have anything negative to say about this pub it would be that they offered no food. But, that said, they're a new establishment and perhaps we will see some food items soon. Besides, food helps to slow the intoxicating process so they would benefit by offering food items. We stopped by for a drink on Christmas Eve, they have 12 rotating taps and you can drink any bottle in the market. Great selection of Goose Island, Bruery, Colorado Breweries, and Chicago breweries. We went early in the day so it wasn't busy and our kids could hang out with us while we shopped and tried a beer or two at their bar (12 taps, so a nice variety to choose from!) Clean store, very friendly and knowledgeable employees. If they have it on tap try the Oddside Ales Mayan Mocha Stout. Delicious and different from your average stout.
