Was there an inside? A quick tip: you'll need a key to access the restrooms. I noticed several people walk over only to discover the door was locked, so I made sure to ask for the key. According to their website, this place has a fascinating history--it once served as a miner's supply store before becoming a hotel. I believe there are still rooms available, as I noticed you can reserve cabins with twin and queen beds. While I might not stay in a cabin myself, I would definitely return for the food.

My daughter also really liked the Non-Alcoholic version which was Vanilla Ice Cream and Red Starburst Slushie. For food, we ordered the Cubano Sandwich and Loaded Baked Potato with added Jalapenos. Everything was wood and there were even dollar bills stuck to the ceiling. There was a ton of artwork and props on the walls - so much to look at! We checked out the menu and decided to share the Appetizer Sampler - but then my daughter was also intrigued to see that they served Pho on Fridays which was called "Steve's Pho King Fridays." My whole family loves Pho so we had to order it. It was actually really good - we were shocked and not expecting Pho to come out that good from a Saloon! Who knew? Steve did! Overall, there is a reason why Iron Door Saloon has been around since 1852! Staff were very friendly and personable - we would absolutely come back next time we are passing through! There were so many items on the menu that looked and sounded great. Check them out!
