If it is still the same owner / managers of the once named Papa Lockers as before, & if still the "Ma & Pa" of which you can see pictured out in front of a gate with the pups and the name banner behind them)- well then, i can assure you fully that you'll never find a better place to do buisness! Your stuff will be safe and youll find comfort in knowing this from day one! I stored with this family uber Papa Lockers DBA years ago for many years and i honestly can tell you this: they literally saved me time an time and time again. Many times my stuff could have been auctioned but instead they worked with me they helped me figure out a plan and get back on track they locked me out when i really feel behind but they never sold my stuff and they could have. I was honest with them about every single up and down with my health and lay off. Was truthful and they did more than they ever needed to help me not loose the last remaining part of my normal life before all of the bad began that made it hard to keep up on my bill . Eventually I was able to get my bill right and move my things out and I hope I never forget . They're kindness gave me so much more than I can explain in just a Yelp . I have never since met such a kind and caring person in business. I owe them so much keeping my stuff truly safe and remaining mine. They saved me little bits at a time in a way that continuously keeps on from their faith shown *not just in myself, but towards the good that they manage to spot inside all people! I hope one day they read this and hear me say thank you for all that you did for me for all the times you kept my items safe kept my bill low let me make my payments late and tried to help me so that I didn't lose my stuff with ample warnings . To me that's the best place to keep something that you love and cherish somewhere where they cherish it just as much for you

During 4 years of renting with a small storage facility, Chain Lake Storage, in Monroe, WA, my rental rate was only increased 2 x's at a fair, reasonable amount. The staff there were very accessible and super great people to work with. Glacier West advertises a lower rate on line to lure customers in then seems to employ a bait and switch scam, it appears to me, to up rates months later. I think 1 year or more to increase rates 5% max is fair and reasonable to deal with inflation. Not 10.9% 6 months into leasing.

I helped someone move out of Smokey point self storage to a 5x10 down the road and the online deal on rent is 1/2 off 3 months of the monthly $75 rate. A friend of mine has a unit that size at Smokey point and pays $152. Now I was told that these increases in rent were due to surrounding storage facilities increasing their rates and that they were just keeping up with the rest however this is so very untrue. I would immeadiatly pack up and move down the road if it didn't require so much additional equipment rental for the types of items I have but I'm very much weighing out the pros and cons carefully because when everything else is costing so much places that skyrocket their rates for the sake of "let's see what we can get away with" needn't have our business.

There was even a discount for an online reservation. Everything else was handled via text, access code, FAQ, times, and details that one would need to know for renting a unit. Accessing the location was simple, and directions to and entering the facilities was as described. I would definitely rent from public storage again. I have had a storage unit in this facility since 1997. I recently emptied my unit the end of this past summer and was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was hardly any dust, not one spider web or any mouse poop inside my unit. Everything inside of my unit was perfect, like I had just put it all there yesterday. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a storage unit. It makes no sense that this unit was indicated as 8'x10' online when they also have a 7'x10' unit, which is $15 cheaper per month. When I asked for a price adjustment, they told me that their sizes are "approximate". This *could* be legitimate reasoning for a 7'x10' unit. But for an 8'x10' unit, it's a gross exaggeration...and on purpose. How's that for 'customer service'? In summary, if you are comparison shopping, do not trust what's listed on the website. I recommend touring and doing a measurement for yourself.

I discovered that some things had somehow gotten wet and that RATS had been in my stuff! Rat turds everywhere and in my boxes!!! To this they answered "Well you've been here a while". WHAT! I was so stunned by this answer that I didn't ask for a refund of the payment I had recently made. If they were like other storage facilities I have done business with, and who pro-rate, they owe me money. However with that attitude do you think they would refund it without me asking? Yeah, sure. NOT! I find out, after speaking with others, that they are far from the best around and I want to share that information. I suggest Everett Storage to you. Great people! They have 3 very clean and convenient facilities in Everett. On Rucker you can drive INSIDE on 2 levels! There is also a moving truck available. Go use one of these facilities....NOW! :)
