I have been seeing Dr. Gee for quite a few years, I find him to be a great doctor, professional, friendly and kind. The practice is lovely, modern, clean with the latest technology. I can't imagine that you couldn't find a pair of glasses there, so many pairs to chose from. Chloe helped me find my perfect pair. The office staff is helpful. I love that I can opt to schedule my appointment online, and access my prescription should I want to grab a pair of glasses elsewhere (but why... So. Many. Choices.) I really can't say enough great things about Dr. Gee. I would give Iron Horse Optometric group more stars if I could. read more

Looking for some frames as my insurance is expiring along with my fsa. I wanted browse and to see what type of frame selections they have first before establishing a patient profile, but this is not allowed until a patient profile is created. This contradicts the whole purpose. I got a stern repeat of the policy by the front desk, I tried to explain my situation and got a repeat of the policy. The doctors here are pretty good (I have seen two different ones, I had a better experience with one. The other one rushed me through my appt). Some of the staff were not friendly. The assistant doing my pre-exams was so cold/rude toward me, I felt like I needed to apologize just for being there. Once I saw the doctor I felt better though. She listened to me and discussed my concerns. My new Rx seems to be working ok so far, but not as good as what it could be (based on how well Rx's worked for me with my last doctor before I moved and needed a new one-- looks like I'm making a big trip next time to see my previous doctor) I think if you have thick skin about how people treat you, and you don't have complex visual needs, this could be the place for you. If you want more more help and TLC, maybe look elsewhere. read more

This place is so clean and welcoming! Did my eye exam here recently since I haven't done one in ages. Although I was upset to find out I have a prescription now (was 20/20 a few years ago :'( ), the staff here were all very informative and professional! As a new patient, I decided to take advantage of the bundle package Optomap and iWellness for $59. This way I didn't have to dilate my eyes and have someone drive me after the exam. When selecting my options for frames/glasses there was no pressure at all. They handed me an empty tray and allowed me to browse/shop around freely. They still have strict COVID restrictions so masks are required (they have some there if you forget yours) and they sanitize everything! All the machines used for my scans/eye exam, exam chair, all the frames I tried on, etc. I might have just found a new office for my eyes :) read more

My appointment with Dr. Chiu was great. She made me feel extremely comfortable, helped me navigate the things that tend to to make me a little nervous during eye exams, and even gave some great tips about exercise and general health. This was my first exam with this group and I was very pleased by how well they all work together. From making an appointment to the actual appointment (with the tests performed by their tech associates and the exam by Dr. Park) to picking out new glasses and checking out. Everything flowed so smoothly. I liked how Dr. Park explained my test and exam results. And I really liked how Bunny ended my appointment with patience and assistance and turned (what in the past usually feels like hours of dread) searching for new glasses into an enjoyable experience for me. read more

This is an update to my initial review. My dad was able to receive his replacement frame in a reasonable amount of time and they are as good as the first pair. Chloe helped us with this order and she was incredibly friendly. She was awesome at providing updates so we weren't left in the dark about the status of his frames. After my initial review, Dr. Gee reached out and set things right. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and did his best to ensure that my dad was taken care of. That alone meant a lot to both me and my dad. He took the time to explain the process and why certain things happened, and he also took responsibility for things that could have gone better. That speaks volumes to me about the type of doctor he is and the type of practice that he wants to run. I could tell that he definitely cares about his patients. After speaking with Dr. Gee personally, my dad and I can understand the other great reviews of this place, and we both believe that our initial experience was just due to bad luck. We've been coming here for about 7 years now and love it. The staff is very friendly and the selection is great. Our daughter is currently doing the myopic treatment with the daily lenses and they made the experience pleasant and easy. It's easy to text with questions or apt requests and they are very responsive. They seem to always have a new machine so it's great to see them updating the equipment often. i had been going to this optometric group for quite some years now. i was disappointed with my last visit where they asked me to fill out some forms and click options. And these options had additional co-pay which i had no idea about. their front office didn't bother to explain this. my intention was to only get a regular annual eye check up which had a co-pay of 10$. And i have 2 insurances, and had to still shell out a co-pay of 50$ due to their forms. These 2 charges were covered by both my insurances last year. i wish they had the good sense to tell a customer what their out of pocket expenses would be before going in to the exam room. my Dentist and primary doctor does that. They always try to upsell their glasses as well read more

Not a whole lot here I can add that hasn't already been mentioned in their 70+ 5 star reviews! When it comes to vision, don't mess with your eyes. Spend money on good sunglasses and don't wear sunglasses that are scratched. Getting regular eye exams is easy ... Ironhorse makes it even EASIER. They also have a lot of state of the art equipment that you don't see elsewhere so I feel like I'm getting a very thorough eye exam and then a very thorough consultation with Dr. Gee. He's friendly and approachable. The office is clean, bright and the staff friendly and efficient. read more

What a great practice. The whole team is top notch, and they really helped out when they found some blood pooling in the back of my eye. It was a little scary, but they were absolute pros. Staff were friendly. Location was a little tucked away from main street. Had Dr. Park help me out. The doctor was friendly and detailed but the appt felt a little rushed towards the end. I mentioned having headaches recently and it felt like I had to provide extra information instead of being asked about it. The Dr. answered the questions I had though.
