please do not, i repeat do not put your love ones or family into this trap. they will leave with…read moremore trauma then they entered this place with. the staff members, who are all prior addicts. treat people who are looking for help like they are nothing and its forcing people who only drink to indulge in other type of drugs like barbiturates and opioids. i've seen numerous of deaths since i was in the 8 by 8. by drugs. a staff member drugged me on valentine's day, i wrote a grievance on her and waited for a response for three months. which i never got a resolution to. the staff that i wrote the grievance on informed me that my grievance got thrown out. proper protocol would have been for the grievance officer to get in contact with me. not for the staff member i wrote it on to inform me that it was thrown out. so i got angry because for three months while i was waiting for the resolution, this same staff member was laughing and joking and telling me im crazy for thinking she drugged me. i was only in the 8 by 8 because of homeless. i only ever smoked weed. i went to the hospital three times over this incident and lost my housing for speaking up against the staff members. not only do i have trauma from her drugging me, now im back at square one. i graduated the cvc program. i graduated outpatient treatment. they denied me housing because of a welding program they offered me. even tho its people living their doing the same program. spare your love ones the heartache and utilize other services untill this situation blows over. because im getting a lawyer and the truth will always prevail!!!!

The team makes it incredibly easy to volunteer, from scheduling, to instructions, to supplies. You pick an available date that works for you, they send a registration link for you to get a group together, they send the suggested recipe with an ingredients list. You get the groceries in advance and arrive between 3:45-4pm (parking in the garage for which they validate). You have two hours to cook dinner using their kitchen, serve dinner at 6 and are invited to eat it yourself, and package leftovers by 6:45. Families are always grateful for the meal and it's a good cause. Staff goes above and beyond to be welcoming, make sure you have everything you need, and embody the mission of the organization. They're doing great work and providing such a valuable service. It's an honor to be able to volunteer in this way and it's a wonderful opportunity that I personally recommend for anyone looking for a one-off/non-regular volunteer opportunity for a small group.

While I've never had a need to use their services, I choose Rose Haven for my donations of new and barely worn clothing. While on a health journey myself, I have gone down several sizes and have brought bags and bags of practically new clothes - leggings, summer pants and t-shirts, winter coats, sweaters, brand new bras and panties, shoes, sneakers, and hygiene items to this shelter knowing these items will help women get their basic needs met, which is the first step in helping them transform their lives.

We sat on the bed to rest only to see a BED BUG crawling on our blanket. We called staff for help so we can get situated in a different room, ONE staff member was there to help. He cleaned up the sheets/bed/mattress and apologized. We got put into a different room around an hour later. Paranoid the whole night thinking every speck was another bed bug, so we had to go out to buy bug spray and spray around areas. According to my mom, the staff had spoken to her and were blaming us and saying we apparently brought them in. We were getting dirty looks from both staff and other residents because of the STAFF gossiping. YOU WORK IN A SHELTER, I'd think they wouldn't be so judgmental but here we are. WE did NOT bring in the bed bugs, they looked to have been there for super long, THEY LOOKED OLD. There were brown areas with dead bugs/bedbugs combined with alive ones. I hate to say it but we may have even been the cleanest/most hygienic ones there, but we didn't judge a single person despite them judging us for something we didn't even cause. Due to there being bedbugs I had left both my blanket and plushie/pillow that meant a lot to me (if you don't have much, little things mean a lot) on the bed because they said they'd disinfect it and give it back, just in case it had been infected. They NEVER RETURNED it. I never got my plushie back from them nor did I get my blanket back. They did not throw it away, they had their shed open one day and I saw it clear as day, they lied to me. Life was already tough and they made everyday more miserable. When we stood up for ourselves, they then begin to blame the previous residents that stayed in that room, saying they were "gross" and weren't very hygienic. Quit judging people in bad situations, get a different job, don't make other people miserable just because you are. The place is crowded and the staff don't seem to be keeping up with cleaning. They depend on the chores they give residents instead of taking responsibility and doing their job.

Ms. McNew, through deceptive accounting on the Probate case, was able to cover up a nefarious transaction with Court approval, commit unethical mail fraud against my ex-wife, commit unethical pre-inheritance Gifting to one heir alone, and grossly undervalue and misreport asset values purposefully. I have also reported Ms. McNew to the Center for Guardianship Certification organization for a formal review of her misconduct and illegal actions - and possible revocation of her certification. Fast, proactive service. They talk to you with courtesy and respect and not down to you. They LISTEN. Costs are reasonable, and if you need help/resources they will try to assist you and connect you with relevant resources. The most important thing is the staff TALK to you, each other, and other medical facilities. None of that "I can't do that" nonsense other MDs give when you ask them to talk to other doctors and forward information. Day before appointment their pharmacy called to confirm allergies and medications. Day of appointment they wrote scripts for all my medications and helpfully pointed out tests for toxicity that would be advised. They get it done lightning fast and do anything they can to help and accomidate you. Doctors and staff were never rude, aggressive, or condescending. I was always treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Bizzarely (or perhaps not considering they are non-profit) everyone was MORE competant and friendly than the for-profit medical industrial complex I've been nagivating that charges through-the-nose for worse service.

I have a lot of anxiety around visiting doctors after some bad experiences medically and she made sure to make me feel like I did not need to apologize and also let me swab my own nose for the covid test(which causes me extreme panic from a past nurse shoving it WAY too deep up my nose, so that was beyond relieving for me as a patient), I cannot thank her enough for that. Carrie Kent D.O. Was my provider and went above & beyond in explaining to me how to properly care for myself as this virus runs its course. I was able to get a doctors note, and am going back in today actually at 9:40AM for another check in because symptoms have worsened. The wait time was not long and the process to get booked was straight forward. Y'all have no idea how relieving it has been to have a good medical experience after being scared to visit a regular doctor for YEARS due to chronic pain from an unnecessarily traumatic surgery done around 5 years ago. Long story long, I appreciate the staff here and am considering keeping Carrie Kent D.O. on as my primary care physician as I have recently been put on Oregon Health Plan and need to start taking care of my body! Thanks again, if anyone is stressed about going in, please don't hesitate getting the help you need, I get more stressed trying to figure out what's wrong with me online so it was nice to have a medical professional give me solid advice and I'm excited to go back in the next half hour to continue care.
